You know how Conservatives think climate change is imaginary? That's how I feel about The National Debt™. I've been hearing "The Debt" is gonna kill everyone for decades. It's all bullshit. Governments aren't households or businesses.

But it is funny that people who want to "run gubernment like a business" never think, "hey, let's increase revenue". No wonder every business Donnie ran went belly up.

I must say I'm a little surprised that the article doesn't go into some of the more "modern" perpetrators of political violence in the US like the SLA (Symbionese Liberation Army) or the Weatherman. I lived in California in the 70s and due to the SLA's kidnapping of Patty Hearst, it was front page news every day. Starting in the late 60s the Weatherman (or the Weather Underground) who were the violent faction of the SDS (Students for a democratic society) perpetrated many bombings and acts of violence that drew plenty of attention and fear at the time.

It's documented to have happened, e.g. pro-Palestinian voters were convinced Trump is pro- and Kamala is anti-Palestinian, r exact opposite. Too many Russian links to ignore over the past 8 years.

Trump isn't "Pro-Palestinian". His policies directly lead to October 7th. But describing Kamala as a friend of Palestinians when she is an accomplice to the mass murder of over 200,000 Palestinians is farcical. Be serious.

I believe Harris is/was mostly pro- Palestinian, and trying to walk a fine line. IMO Biden is guilty for not stopping Netanyahu. No one wants to see US weaponry used like that. BB is a criminal IMO but Israelis apparently support him. Musk's X reportedly made some voters think Trump was pro-Palestinian in the days prior to the election. IMO using voter's innermost feelings against them with a carefully-designed realistic-looking fake AI ad is a crime. Many pro- folks reportedly voted for Trump in swing states. Lots of news articles about fake AI happening for months prior to the election, but it was seriously targeted when/where it mattered.
