i just had my first sesh with my replacement XP.
my* round 2 looks awesome -- i thought I was going to get the exact same unit, but the unit is slightly smaller, 8% lighter, the dial now has perfect stiffness (good), the sticker on the dial is no longer inverse colour from the rest of the unit (good), the covering cap is no longer hard to get on or off (good), the covering cap now has rounded edges (i like it), and it is back to 2 intake holes from the 4 i had in my first XP.
i'm really very pleased right now. Greg was easy to communicate with, my replacement arrived very quickly (good on Canada Post, and on Greg).
i swear this thing heats up faster than before.
oh ya, and the capsule does not get stuck in the chamber.
* "my" -- your round 2 XP would likely be different than my round 2 XP, due to incremental changes. Pharmacore, through its relation with fuckcombustion.com, and presumably other sites, seems to have effectively, if unintentionally, adopted a rolling-release cycle -- from Wikipedia: "In
software development, a
rolling release or
rolling update development model refers to a continually developing software system; this is instead of a standard release development model which uses
software versions.".
I actually think a rolling release cycle is the way to go for Pharmacore, even if it just means saying so. The internet changes everything, for manufacturers and consumers alike.
And that's my final puff...
