Here are a few photos from last nights/this mornings fun activities
Big thanks to phattpiggie for the social, and his missus for the snacks
Starting to tidy the ribbon ends in the hope of soldering them back together
This is the plastic that surrounds the heater, i presume it's also made of
Polybutylene terephthalate
If the outer case gets hot then i can imagine this getting well hot!!
If i do fix it i'm hoping to swap up some of the questionable components and at least make the dial fixed, and a cut out to enable 'on the fly' battery swapping, more photos will follow as we progress
Because when this unit works, it works well!
