Any chance for a discounted version 2 (Black) unit for owners of the original version 1?

Maybe even a trade-in??? :):nod::clap::tup:

There are likely to be several added bonus features that have been suggested by FC forum contributors of ideas over the past several months. We'll play the Apple Game for the next few weeks but suggest if you're curious, to review previous posts.

Regarding a trade in, this is doubtful considering the Indica has been on the market for only just under 6 months. The Black unit and all it's extra features will be unveiled exactly 6 months from when we first opened the Indica storefront.

As for a FC discount, well that's a different story. Thanks for your contribution and hang on a few more weeks.

Sounds good to me...I like v1 a lot and probably wouldn't "trade" it, but I would definitely get a second one in black if the discount makes it a viable option. :)

Sooner or later you'll get more cash from me...resistance will be futile...you have a very nice product.

The V2 Black Indica that I've been using is a great tool for those of you that really appreciate the taste of great vapor flavor. I have the Blue Dream strain that I've been enjoying in the Indica this evening. It's helping to ease the pain a bit. The flavor that I'm experiencing is exquisite.

I really love this little vaporizer. It's much more stealth being black IMO. A very fun and easy portable unit.

The outside of the vaporizer seems to have a pretty tough finish.I haven't had to worry about any scratches. I keep it in the bag that it comes with when carrying in my purse.
The spacers are one of my fav features of the Indica. With the help of a friend we've had to charge up about 3 times. The battery seems to be holding up real well.

I've tried a lightly packed load and a firm pack. The firm pack seemed to work ideal. It also produced the thicker clouds of vapor.

Please contact George of "Vapefiend .com". He should be distributing the Indica by the middle of next week. This product will have the appropriate power adaptor for the UK region.
Hi Mike,
Any chance UK/EU sellers will have the v2 at the same time as the US or will it be a delayed release for your overseas followers?

The cosmetics of the Black outer encasement is scheduled to be released world wide on October 16th. UK will receive a high bred version of a Stainless Steel version in less than 2 weeks. The inner working components, insulation, programming, battery life and vapor out put will be exactly the same as the "v2" being released later in October. The mid October unit will have additional components and storage features to be mentioned at a later date. Keep in mind that the October release will also cost more due to the added value but will be considerably LESS in price than the pax.

my god, the moment is finally arrived.
the indica in EU.

if i understand correctly, the uk "high breed" version is the same as the black v2 unit (with major battery life and vapor production) but without a few extra component and and storage features, am i correct?

You really lift up my day with this news mr. indica;)

(sorry for my poor english, i'm italian).

Congratulations @Indica Vaporizer, this is turning into a real success story, and in record time on top of that!

What are the charger specs btw (jack type, polarity, voltage and amps)? Is the charger 110/230V switching? I'm in Europe but not in UK so I'd like to know if a single plug adapter would be enough or if one needs something more elaborate?

Adaptors will be available soon for the different configurations. The Charger is universal for 110/220v and can easily be converted to the 3 other configurations by sliding on the future available adaptor attachments. We are likely to sell all adaptors as one complete set.

Since the Indica uses a mini-USB charging port, you don't need anything specifically from the manufacturer. Wall warts for USB charging are cheap and readily available everywhere.

I've really enjoyed the V2 that I have been using. I want also to congratulate Indica for their hard work in getting this little vaporizer to where it is today. I didn't have the first beta model, but what I've read here, it's come a long way in the process.

The look and the feel of this model gives the owner a confidence that this is a well built vaporizer. This unit will fit the needs of many folks male or female, medical or the recreational cannabis user.

As I have gathered our friends here at FC have helped with their suggestions to make this a wonderful unit as well.

I am looking forward to the Indica's newest release of the V2 next month. It will be fun to read through the postings. It will be like Christmas around here. It's always fun to get a new vaporizer. Plan a head it's good to have a backup. Fuckcombustion.:leaf::peace:

Paka is correct. Appreciate the clarification. We tried to design for modular simplification and over the counter part replacement regarding cursory components. Though we may offer an arsenal of options available for purchasing through our store or distributors at a later date, consider the smart and least costly alternative first.

I posted this elsewhere but thought it would be good here too.

A couple of weeks ago stayed at a resort. We decided to take the Indica along.

We had a day of fun. Decided to go to the room and got the Indica out. We relaxed had a couple of bowls. I went out to the area to get some ice. I came back into the room and didn't notice any odor at all. Sometimes I will burn an oil defuser, I didn't need to. Later we had another bowl. At this point we were ready for dinner. Decided to order room service. We didn't have any issue at all using the Indica as smell goes. A great portable unit to take along and less smell and excellent flavor. Vitolo suggested because of the spacer. I think he's onto something.

Ive used vapes in hotels before without any problems. IMO the Indica has less odor than some vaporizers out there.

Vaping cannabis is the wave of the future. Pass the good word one friend at a time.

The flip lid really helps with the odour. If you close it between hits, there's nowhere for the smell to go.

Hey everyone, I am thinking of picking one of these up and have a few questions.

1.If I were to buy one today, would it come with the new silicon cover for the mouthpiece?

2.Is the oven door magnetic now? On the indica website the description for the indica component bag says it comes with a magnetic door, that's why I am wondering.

3.How well does the unit perform with small loads, like 0.05 grams?
I never had issues with really small loads in the launch box and am wondering how the indica compares.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can answer these questions for me.

Next month the V2 comes out. It will have the improved mouthpiece. Using the spacers you can taylor your loads to suit your preference. The unit performs well whether it's a small or large load. The oven door is magnetic and also insulated. The vapor taste is superior to a lot of the portables on the market.

IMO better than the launch box. It has better vapor flavor and you don't have to hassle around with putting a battery in and out. But the launch box fits a lot of needs for many users. The Indica is a different style of vaporizer than the launch box.

With the indica your much better off with 1 fully packed oven used 3-4 times as opposed to packing a small load 3-4 times. Much thicker vapor this way.
I understand that logic but thick clouds waste meds. I can make a gram last a week with the mflb, 4 sessions/day. Don't get me wrong, I could also go through a quarter a day of flower, or go through 2 grams a day of oil on bad days(or good days after all that vaping).

If it takes a fully packed oven(0.3 grams roughly) to get 3-4 sessions then it may not be efficient enough for me and I may just need to look at something else, or just another mflb or PA for the one I have.

Edit for context.
I can load up a single 1 hitter's worth of flower into the mflb and get a good session. I would have to load up roughly 12 times that much to fill the indica's 0.3 gram chamber. That is two days worth of flower for me(when I am forced to conserve like I am now)

I was just hoping the indica could perform as efficiently as the mflb, I love the way the indica is all self contained. It would have meant no more battery sticking out the side, therefore less cluttered feeling pockets.

I like using the Indica with just one spacer, but you can use it with 2. That will save on product using it that way. You don't have to fill up the whole oven to get quality vapor production or to get medicated. Some folks prefer a full oven of herb.

Why don't you go through about 25 pages of the thread? You need to do some research before buying a vaporizer. Your health and wallet depend on it.

I have read the whole thread already, but loading really small amounts was never really covered, that's why I was asking.

Also Mike, or Indica Vaporizer, said recently that the v1 units would be getting the silicon mouthpiece cover as well as the switch upgrades like the V2. That is why I was asking if I ordered a unit now if it would come with the new silicon cover.

I research everything I buy. I am asking because these weren't really covered, or the answers that are there were too vague.

FWIW my typical load size in the Indica is about .12g (w/ spacer in place). I don't need any more than that and I don't like to use multiple sessions with a load. Reason being that the entire load is subject to the high temperature in the oven, and after about 10 minutes the ABV is pretty well done IME.

I could load maybe double that sans spacer, but I think the spacer/smaller load combo is what I would recommend.

Do you think it is possible to load about half that much (0.06g) two spacers if needed, and the unit still perform?
Like I said I am not looking for large clouds, nor do I care if it would require a longer heat up time because of the small load.

If it can't handle this then it just isn't the vaporizer for me. There are many times recently that I just can't afford to load larger amounts, even though I would really like too.

Here is a pic of the spent herb after using the Solo and the Indica. This is comparing the 2 loads a total of 20 min for each vape. Using the same strain of herb, Gods Gift. I did 2 ten min sessions with each. I use a little more with the Indica. This is with one spacer in the Indica oven.

The temps I used on the Solo was 10 min on 374 degrees and 10 min at 383. For the Indica I did 10 min on 358 and 10 min on 376 degrees. I can't handle the purple at 394 it makes me cough. I tried to replicate the heat but couldn't. I tried to draw the same amount with both. I will be trying to cut the load by using 2 spacers in the Indica. I will share the results.
EDIT:
It's tight using 2 spacers with a packed load. It can be done. With 2 spacers the load is about the same with the Indica and the Solo with my unscientific method. I know the 2 vapes aren't similar, but I've had folks asking me about the amount of herb compared to the Solo. Towards the end of the second session with the smaller load with the Indica the clouds got wispy not much left. This vaporizer is probably more compared to the Ascent.

Here is the amount of ABV left over. After using 2 spacers. I'm comparing to the Solo.
