Just for the sake of saying it , the sticky stuff didn't totally turn me off from my awesome new vape . There are a handful of of easy to come by methods to remove it ( goo gone , lighter fluid , wd40 , etc ) or just cut the sticker along the seam and leave it on there . Totally not a big deal , but probably the only thing I could pull out of the air to complain about ( which I meant in a joking manner btw ). Still enjoying my indica today .

I just used the same indica sticker and got all the stickiness off. Thry using duct tape to take the sticky stuff off, be careful and just ball it up and dab it on.
(If you put the duct tape on and rip it off the stain may come off too)
As stated goo gone works very well.
That's great if that's your only complaint, stickyness from the sticker! At least your worried about keeping the box clean because it so nice! You will enjoy your Indica very much.
Also remember, when you turn your unit on that shows battery life (white-green-red) you still need to hit the button twice for the 1st setting, and so on.
Also stated fully charged when light goes out.

Don't remember who asked about hissing and crackling earlier but I experienced it too. I had just loaded an oven of less than totally dry OG Kush. I did not get good vapor production on purple like usual but did get the added noises. I dumped the oven out and the slightly vaped bud had a moist character. I then ran a pipe cleaner through the stem and reloaded with very dry Willie. No more added noises since.

I bought this vape to use during outdoor activities like snowboarding, hiking, boating, concerts, etc. After a week of use I am very pleased. One charge and one oven (with pinch of bubble) lasted all day on the hill.

I think the Indica is ripe for other color options including wraps. I am thinking about applying matte black Plasti-Dip to make the unit less slippery and more stealthy.

So I had a few q's before ordering this highly acclaimed vape and I sent an email to sales@indica2.com (the address on their website). It's been 4 days and I haven't gotten a reply yet. Any other email address that works? @Indica Vaporizer ?

OK, so i've been using this vape for 24 hours. It works , it's fast and the ABV is even in color with no combustion. I just don't like the taste. It won't replace my Pax for outside use and i have tastier vapes for indoors.

This vape has a worse taste than the Pax? I didn't like the Pax, it had very poor vapor taste. I've been leaning towards buying this unit in the future. Could someone else also comment about the flavor?

Flavor is exvcelent for me with a few different strains, at lower temps ofcourse, but even at higher temps if it's still a fresh bowl. Can even taste better than my Solo sometimes and so much better than my Ascent did if that helps as a reference, can't comment on the Pax though

Let's not forget that "taste" also means personal preference.

I had four different Indicas during the beta test. The first thing I did with all of them was an empty hit before ever turning them on to check whether the taste was neutral. The first one arrived in a box that had been freshly stained and smelled like it. There was a faint oily taste when I hit it, but this disappeared after a heating cycle. None of the others had any noticeable taste to me, and I am pretty sensitive to off-flavours.

In my opinion, the flavour when in use was better than the Pax. Any constant-heating conduction device will result in what I describe as a slightly cooked flavour, and the Indica is no different. I thought that this effect was somewhat less pronounced than with the Pax. Of course, we've now ventured into personal preference territory.

Actually I'm not sure it helps as it is a bit puzzling, since a lot of people find the Ascent taste fantastic... :) I also thought from reading the entire thread that most people prefered the Indica over the Pax taste-wise, so @VaporsVaporizer's post is also intriguing...

Just to be clear, I don't think the Pax tastes good either. I'm tasting the Indica itself with my weed and i did clean it before use... Does this "taste" go away??

Maybe it was just my Ascent (bought it lightly used ~a month, then used it for probably under a month myself, and it just loses its taste so quick for me, and the silicone they use (even though they changed it, still) seemed to affect the taste noticeably for me (I usually preferred direct draw, but even with the stem out it wasn't great).

With the Indica, i think the silicone materials must be either better quality, or better isolated from the heat/oven/airpath/what have you than the Ascent, at least in my experience.

It is my belief that any vape over time "seasons"... and it's manufacturing essences get overridden by use and THC oils.
My Indica tastes good to me.
My Pax did not at first, but now I appreciate the Paxes flavor.
The Indica always tasted better to me than my pax.
A point about flavors...
The shorter the vapor path, the more metalic/bitter/sharp/hot vapor will taste, as the throat and tongue's response to flavors is affected by heat touching different places in the mouth.
To answer your question most directly...
I believe that after using the Indica for a few dozen sessions, you will be more pleased with the flavor it provides.

The taste for me is ok, better than pax but I don't really mind the pax taste so
I'm probably a bad reference when it comes to taste.

On another note, how to increase your clouds (and revealing a bit of the path
the incoming air is following) : hold a finger over the usb port on the indica
while inhaling and you will get bigger clouds.

I can't compare to the pax , but I love the taste of my Indica . I got an original Vaproblunt when they first came out , and hated the taste I got from it , so I know what it is to have a bad tasting vape , but the Indica has a very nice taste in my opinion.
@ Belgianvapor , gonna try that on my next session .
Also , I was wondering if anybody has a perfected loading method for the Indica ?? I'm still a little messy when I load mine.

I've used my friends pax a few times and I thought the taste was horrible. There was a large gap in between the two times I used it with two different herbs, and it had the same exact plasticky weird fume taste. First time I thought maybe it needed breaking in, the next time was months later and it still had the flavor. Completely turned me off from the pax. I bought an ascent instead and the flavor is great. The silicone flavor is finally gone, but I do notice the taste degrades very fast. I've been interested in buying an indica, but might wait until the updates version comes out. Might go with a firefly until tht time comes. I want tasty vapors! Help me find them with something ultra portable

@Belgianvapor : wow! if what you say about the USB port air leak is true, it's a bit embarrassing... I really don't understand what part of "we don't want to vape electronic circuits" designers don't get?

KeroZen, you bring up a great point. I also want to thank Belgianvapor for pointing out how we can improve vapor output. Sealing this unknown air channel with the proper insulator material will benefit the product tremendously.

The air actually passes around the outside of the USB port through the opening in the stainless steel shell. All electronics are contained in an internal plastic housing inside the Stainless steel shell so none of the circuits are exposed to air flow that Belgianvapor brought to our attention. Again, great input and help.

I just recieved an indica vaporizer a few days ago and thought I would give my initial review. Bear in mind my only other vaporizer to compare it to is a vapir no 2 which I'm very happy with. I wanted something a little more portable and chose the indica over the pax, mainly because of the simple design and ease of cleaning. I have little spare time these days.

My Indica still has that new electronic flavor, so to this point the taste is pretty bad. I did let it time out on red twice before using, and cleaned it. I'm guessing after a few weeks of daily use it'll be seasoned and I can give a more accurate opinion on taste.

As far a vapor density, I would say slightly less than I get from the vapir2. Now the indica is half the size so that's expected. Also a little more air restriction than I would like, but again that's also expected in such a small unit.

So far, overall I'm happy with the purchase, I'm sure it will only get better in time as I master it and the flavor improves. It took a little while to fall in love with the vapir so I will give an updated review in time.

Hope this helps anyone thinking of purchasing one......

Vape on!!!!

The Indica doesn't have silicone parts. ;)

Oops. Before I posted this I examined the beta units I have and one of them had silicone. After I posted, Indica Vaporizer contacted me and said that he added a silicone seal near the chamber door to improve airflow, so I was mistaken. Sorry about that.

Just anothetr step to try to like the taste better.
I already mentioned the short vapor path, but my thoughts were not
fully developed.
Try aiming the mouthpiece into mouth differently, to allow the incoming heat/vapor stream
a new contact spot on tongue/in mouth.
The flavor may change for you if you alter the suction/inhalation/draw positioning.
You have the vape there, and it is worth a try.
Do it for science.
Do it for us.
Do it so your Indica feels needed!

@Indica Vaporizer : knowing that you care about such matters and that you are around on this forum, improving your product and listening to us, is a great relief!

I'll definitely recommend your vaporizer and might even buy one, if only the UPS shipping fees to Europe were not so ridiculous (half the product price!) Please consider "international registered USPS" as a slower but more economical option (and as a bonus we would be less likely to get the additionnal custom taxes)

altought the shipping to Europe is steep, I didn't have to pay custom taxes so I probably came of
cheaper this way ;)
