I haven't had any problems with my Imag+ and it's still getting used pretty much daily. I havent used the stock mouth piece in over a week though. The first week I was doing hi temp sessions back to back with the stock MP and never had a problem but I don't think I went anymore then 2 hi temps back to back. The manual does state that the unit should be given 1 minute to cool after a session before restarting another heat cycle though....

Actually, I'm sure they already work on a new mouthpiece. The Relaxo Tech guys check this thread on a regular base. FC is where I've found them in the first place, before they've got banned because of their unauthorized commercial account.
Anyway, I will send them an email and ask them directly. Although I'm quite sure you won't be able to exchage it free of charge, but I hope they will offer them as a replacement part on their ebay shop at least and don't just add them to the next batch.

I agree with @mrweed. I emailed them about the whole MP issue and this is what I got :


We're designing a new type of MP with the two new features:
1. it can fit more tight with the heating chamber. when you carry the IMAG in your pocket with herbs fully loaded, the MP won't break from the heating chamber so easily.
2. the screen is detachable. you can change the screen as you wish.
However, the heating chamber will be changed accordingly to fit the new MP. which means, those current IMAG PLUS can only use current MP.
anyway, we will work with US distributor W9tech and provide a batch of MPs to them so you guys can get extra MPs to replace the broken ones.

Damn, they're not going to send me 2 imag plus's, I can get a free titan 2 though. Do I want a titan 2? Some people say it's ok and some people say it's a plastic tasting/smelling hell.

I kind of want to cancel and wait for the new version with the new mp.

I've got one on the way as well. I believe it will be shipped either tonight or tomorrow. As far as I know that is the latest model. There is no more 2 for $100 deal anymore. I agreed to take a Titan 2 as a bonus. Sounds fair to me. If the Titan 2 is no good for me I'm sure it will make a nice gift for someone else

I did and it went well. I haven't spent enough time with it yet to give a solid answer though, I can into a few vapes these past two weeks and usually only partake on the weekends. I'll give it another shot on Saturday.

That said, I did try a tincture soaked cotton ball and had great results. This will most likely become my foot set up for concerts and festivals.

Alright, so if we're stuck with the crappy mouthpiece, and it seems like the new one will be plastic again with no wpa, I think we need @Ed's TnT over here to see if he can make us a much more acceptable solution (and one that can connect to 14/18mm too). Any chance @THC SCIENTIFIC could send him a sample Imag Plus for him to get started? I know hes a busy man, but having him craft a Wong for the Indica made me realize we really need the same for the Imag now...

Be nice to do something else while it's a little slower for now. I am having so much fun doing all this new stuff! I looked at the first page of this thread to get a look at this device, need a better look at the PM and how it attaches to the unit. Still you guys know I really need it in my hands for accuracy. Thanks for thinking of me and what I do. Most of the time the secret is just showing up early and getting lucky!

Ed! I'm really excited to see what you come up with for the Indica, an 18mm wong would be incredible for that little guy, his vapor needs some diffusion at the upper temps to limit my coughing!

I hope w9tech can send you a sample Imag, since it probably is necessary to have one in person to get the fit right into the oven. Otherwise they're not very expensive fortunately, which also means there will be quite a few owners willing to shell out for a new mouthpiece, particularly one of your wonderfully crafted beauties! And similar to the Indica, the Imag really needs the wong for its high temps. Our throats will greatly appreciate it!

@Shit Snacks I am excited to see what I can do for the Indica as well. Was just driving shortly ago and had another idea pop up in my head for another method of going about it. The hard part is going to be fitting the rectangle shaped connection. Am so accustomed to everything I am doing being round in some way or another. This one has really got me thinking and thats a cool thing!

Its just necessary to have the vape in my hands, too may times people have sent me just the stem and I would do my best to mimic it but something winds up being just a little off. A few .001" one way or another tend to make a difference whether good or bad. Some units are just so damn precise that I have to be dead on to get it to look right and most importantly preform right. I like when my pieces look like they were intended to be used with the unit they are paired with. From what I could tell by the pic I saw of it, I should be able to create something to benefit you all.

Thanks dude. Don't really want the titan 2 much, but I don't need any of that other stuff, I only vape wax and don't need anymore ego battery things. Oh well, I'll give it as a present or use it as my guest vape for people I don't want mouthing the stuff I use.

The mouthpiece isn't that big of a deal, IMO
Drill out the center and cut a screen that fits on top of the herb chamber. Kinda ghetto but it works

A custom made mp would be nice. I have a spare mouthpiece I could donate to ED.. if nothing else
