Ya I have been thinking modding mine a bit more too. After running through extensive testing this week my screen has started to clog up somewhat. ISO wipings with a cotton ball have proved unsuccessful thus far to clear those really fine holes.

@Rrose Selavy what did you use for your mod is that a drip tip with hi temp silicone coupling to the heater section?

actually @Puffers its one of @Alan (Hi) glass nipples with high temp silicone it a little fragile so i might pick up a drip tip tomorrow, but right now im liking the glass. i used the smaller silicone that came with my ss roasting tip (HI) and put it over the glass. then some standard diameter silicone over that. i left about a half inch of silicone hanging from the bottom and folded it over. this allows it to fit snuggly into the space between the heater and the top of the tube

Yes! That's pretty similar to what I was thinking of doing basket screen and all but using a spare drip that I have laying around. The silicone would let it mate right up with 14mm gong joints that way too I imagine.

if you pack the chamber full it does in fact work with a 14mm @Puffers so you would need a reducer @Shit Snacks. i think a drip tip would work just as well.

Put the imag plus through some heavy usage yesterday with a couple friends. Was using the stock mouth piece all day yesterday. Both of them really liked the unit and were impressed by the ease of use and vapor production. They both remarked about the tightness of the draw though.

So I decided it was time to mod mine up. Just a piece of rolled hi temp silicone whip tubing for my SSV and a drip tip that's a bit larger then the standard 510 that came with a glass bulb atty for hash. A basket screen in the silicone closest to the bowl. Draw is much smoother now although still a bit hot this close to the heater. I may move it back a bit more so it's tamer for my friends. Still produces great vapor and hooks right up to my 14mm gong fittings now.

ABV from several sessions ending on hi heat. Not a great pic but you can tell there's nothing burnt.

The battery lifetime is decent since I didn't need to charge it after 20x2mn sessions (with different heating levels) and I think there is still a lot of juice in, the short timer helps for the battery I think (as the fast extraction).

It really is amazing to me though! Prior to this, I heard nothing of the sort existed? It seems too good to be true as of now.. idk. Why, previously, would everyone say there was no such thing as a noncombustion vapor pen for dry herb? :S

I can only speak for myself, but I haven't used a pen that works with herbs. I gave up on pens lol since I determined it was size that made it not work, I started going for portables. I also don't feel like waiting for the grasshopper even though I'd buy it in a heartbeat haha.

Yes it is, and it works very well!

For small load and without grinding too, it's very powerfull without any combustion (but really, really near....)

So you like how well it works without grinding? I'm just hoping to hear some people say that before I order. This is a great price for a torchless vape and it's so damn small. Closest in price I found was an awesome deal on a solo for $160 which I hear does well without grinding.

I think the imag + is very close to the size of the Inhalater and Pinnacle, therefore not really a Pen size vape.

@StormyPinkness the herb chamber is a bit too small for whole buds. Unless you have very tiny ones, you will have to break them up

Correct, it is bigger than a wax pen like your standard atmos type. Its like a T-Vape but a little smaller, not quite as short as my Thermovape, but its thinner. When they come out with the Imag Pen, then we will see how small it can get...

That being said, it still just looks like an ecig, been using mine out on the streets with no trouble at all
