Pen Imag Plus

From the first imag to this new beta ceramic plus..its been less than a year I believe. And these guys took a lot of feedback from users and have really rolled in a lot of features in a very stealth y vape pen..went from a single temp, snap on mp, ss oven, to a 3 temp, twist on ceramic oven.. All within a year ..the only knock on the unit I have is as others mentioned is the non replacable battery.. Gotta appreciate a company that openly accepts feedback and critisims.. Then gives you what you asked for...definitely appreciate there customer service

Yes but to that extent its still a great value even without replaceable batteries, I mean the Pax is what like 300 and doesn't have replaceable batteries? I love things with replaceable BUT at this price can recommend it, at least over the Pax which is a vape that REALLY disappointed me...for various reasons, and I know many like it, just didn't impress me and I felt it should have cost much less, its also the only vape that I had to concentrate while using it or I would burn my lips multiple times, not fun while "gone".

OK got the imag+ and have had it for a week. Me and my wife have been using it about 7 times a day along with my haze vaporizer.
I was honesty impressed with this thing, it rips. Period. It cost me 82 dollars and unless the thing breaks within a year I definitely got my moneys worth.
I don't see any issue at all with cleaning the mouth piece. All you do is dip a q-tip in ISO and swab only the metal areas, then Rinse with hot water and repeat. Takes me 60 seconds and I do it once a day before I charge it up.
I really don't see how so many people complain about the mouth piece like its impossible to clean. Its actually quite easy imo.
Anyway overall I was impressed by the imag plus.
I feel it hits just as hard as my haze.
Yes my haze has a lot of extra features that make it a better machine but for what you pay for the imag plus its a very functional vape. I'll be looking out for reviews on the new and improved imag.
Peace.

Most of the complaints about the mouthpiece were due to how it attaches to the unit. It is designed to just push in to attach to the unit, which can easily pop off when in your pocket. Also without a removable screen, it is impossible to completely clean the internals of the mouthpiece.

On another note, I was asked by the manufacture to send my defective imag plus back so they can test to see why it failed. They completely reimbursed the shipping costs, which IMO is great customer service! They advised they would send my test unit and also a replacement for the defective one as well. I can't wait to test the newly designed imag plus. :science:

Although it is getting obsolete, let me share how to clean, and how to change the screen in your Imag MP, in a step by step guide:
1: What you need:

2: The stick included in Imag set fits perfectly inside. Make sure you keep it in a position to reach the rim of metal piece, then...:

3: ...gently hit the top to knock out metal piece:

4: Find a screw with the closest diameter to fit...:

5: ...than hit the top, to knock out the ring holding the screen:

6: Place new screen, position the ring on top of it, then force them together with your pliers (make sure the tip of your pliers fits inside the circle! )

7: Very important to clear off ANY debris, excess bits of screen hanging out - tweezers provided in Imag set can do the job!:

Enjoy :D

Oh yeah, the metal piece pops back easy into plastic encasing, also, if you take it out, you can pick off the silicon ring, and clean metals with fire or ISO..

So open ceramic chamrber airpath to electronics on this one? Visible led to light chamber? Sounds like the xmax v2, though they're about to update theirs with the airpath properly isolated... I guess I'll see when I get mine
I was literally thinking the same thing. I am supposed to get an updated xmax v2 so will compare it as well if I do

I feel like you should wait more than a week before you make a judgment on the mouthpiece. I don't know where you got the impression it was impossible to clean. In my experience the resin builds up after heavy use and the difficult part is how fine the screen is and the fact that it's not removable. It's definitely cleanable or modified with many different methods posted here.

@CidKudi You may want to re read his post his post, I didn't get an impression that he got the impression you suggested.

He wanted to quote Kaptan #553:

But what really annoys me when I got a "new post" alert on my fav topic, click on it excitedly and there's a completely weightless, negligible comment only to say me nothing with a five inch quote.

You underestimate how much I've used this vape in a week lol.
Plus I dont need more than a week because Ive cleaned it back to new at the end of every day since I've had it. IMO its very easy to clean.
I got the impression that it wasent from reading this fourm.

Can anyone compare it to the Titan? Seems the same but cost twice as much... wouldn't you say?

Thanks

China vaporizers are built pretty much relying on the same manufacture grounds - hence most of the locally sourced components are the same or very similar in terms of quality and build materials/technology. However what makes a huge gap between two designs, is how much a company understands the consumers necessities, and how much they interact.
In this thread you can see many references for the Imag manufacturer's willingness to take feedbacks seriously, even re-design certain parts, and also proved to have a very sophisticated customer service regarding communication, sales and warranty. They certainly don't look hungry sharks who only listens money and speaks mandarin.
My only e-mail I ever sent to Titan makers is still unanswered. I have only tried their first device, looked, tasted and "fumed" very plasticy. I disassembled it only to see, that my concerns were accurate, they did not pay much attention to health aspects, adhesives, paint, thermoplastics, leaded solder, exposed PCB etc. were all stuffed in the same body.
Disassembling my Imag was in fact a surprise, as heated area is completely isolated from electronics. Still had a few concerns, but all my questions were answered within a day (!). I have no doubt that their new product V2 will feature not only excellent usability, but health & safety in design as well. Moulded ceramic heating element is a tiger leap towards.
As I can see, Titan creators are still busy with fancy look, LED indicators, marketing strategies, vapor quality matters but not purity.
Although at the end it all comes down to your preferences. My pal saved some 20 bucks and bought the new Titan, and all he said for the obvious plastic fume-taste that: "you need some dirt in life". Once he also ate a snail alive, without washing it.

Alright I am gonna have a review up in a day or two, went through a fairly good amount of trials on all settings, even the red(Last setting) does not burn it or my lips(I actually went back and forth between this and a pax with a friend for a couple sessions, this outperformed the pax, we both agreed and he got mad that he spent so much on a pax and wants to order one of these now), I will say this thing extracts like a beast, fully throughout, I have a couple criticisms but overall expect the review to be positive and if they start up orders for these I would not hesitate to buy one, pure taste, nice vapor, very little nitpicks from me, more later, gotta go do stuff now :-D.

A little bit of a pain, but that looks totally doable. Nicely done pics and description.

When does the new model maybe officially come out? I was such an idiot not to try and sign up to review it, been looking at it since September.

I wanted to do the same as Hilary.. A good friend owns the pax but I haven't had a chance to do a showdown with him.. Having used the pax countless times.. I can back Hillary's statements that the imag outperforms the Pax..From the quality and value of this lil steam machine down to the top notch customer service .you'd be hard pressed to find another product that could match the features, performance and value of the imag plus...I would recommend this to all my friendsnwithout hesitation.. I'll get a full review up shortly after the new year ..wish you all a safe and happy new year

Gibarian, thats an awesome process. I did the exact same thing last night and I would definitely say it works better than my design. However, I replaced the black silicon ring with one that was slightly larger in order to hold the MP in place better, and also instead of the black mouthpiece I was able to put together a steel one. If you look at the Seego V-Hit King mouthpiece, remove the glass portion and it fits perfectly on top. Used some super glue(on the outside portion, not in the airway) and a silicon ring in order to hold it snugly in place, and it works absolutely beautifully. The steel did tend to get a bit warm, so I put a couple more small silicon rings around the tip in order to rest my lips on.

They will probably reimburse your postal cost as they did for Kaptan. I live in EU and there is a lot of courier "brokers" around, who has contractual prices for major couriers like UPS, DHL etc.. providing less than half prices as an individual would normally get (and any possible claim can be problematic).

Take it to the post office. You only need to send the unit base, not the mouthpiece. Ship it first class international for about $10 in a padded envelope. The only downside to this shipping method is no tracking.

The company I am shipping to says they will reimburse me the costs but not $90. They told me another user sent one back to them and it was closer to $10. I only looked at DHL cause they put that request in the email to me. When I told them it would cost $90 they said they can't pay that and to look at something other than DHL. I was guessing the other person to send one back was on here too but not sure
