Will this irritate my throat? My Mighty and POTV One are useless to me--it's too hot, too irritating. I cough tons.
It's still hot vapor, u're not drinking water.
But my crafty with the platsic CU are way harshier than my herbo.

The dry mouth effect can't be avoid, even with edibles u'll get it.
It's just dry mouth effect + hot condensation can be irritant.

But i have black tea worst than vaporizer feeling..
Lot of people like Tea-hc and accumulation of both can be really throat dryer.

Don't forget to use your saliva if u can't drink.
And throat feelings are good indicator of over-used.

You likely won't need a new heater cover for a long time, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I suggested grabbing a spare since it is a breakable part and you might need a replacement in the future. Ultimately, it shouldn't be something you need to replace often or ever as long as you're careful with the glass.
Thanks! I will just take a deep breath and wait. :) I do need to figure out where I'll set it up.

I have a medical condition that causes dry mouth, so my saliva isn't much use as I don't make much of it due to my condition. And yes, I am well aware that you get dry mouth from edibles and any cannabis. It's not dry mouth, though; it's more that the vapor causes throat irritation and then I end up with an irritated spasmodic cough and a burned throat.

Hey everyone, I want to give some feedback about the Herborizer service. It is excellent, no complaints from me. I had a defect, no clue what exactly went wrong, somehow the heating element lost power and Seb repaired it. Unfortunately the carrier did treat the parcel like he does here:
jim carrey alrighty then GIF by Ace Ventura

And the controller broke.
Sebastien had a look on it and replaced it with a new one in the old style.

User question, what numbers would you set in the controller to replicate the 6,8ish setting on the analogue Ti?

My Herborizer arrived today, faster than I can get anything via Bezos! Ha. My only complaint is that I didn't get notification from FedEx, who delivered it, and the tracking today still said it passed through Paris yesterday. I truly can't get mail from Florida this quickly! I live way out in the boonies of New England. So it sat in the rain for a few hours when it could have been opened and being used. !

Took me a bit to set it up, completed the cleaning burn/heat up, let it cool again, then crank it to 4...didn't get much...went to 5 and then to 6.....ahhh here we go. Still learning how to drive: deep, slow convection draw and how to get huge clouds. I immediately cleared a spot for it on solid ground; my main desk is a sitting/standing desk with pneumatic lift which would be a terrible place for all that glass.

It's sticky for sure! I have to hold the mouthpiece of the Sherlock/base and the nub of the bowl when pulling it out.

But wow, no complaints about effect--I'm as high as I get from combusting. Been doing a lot of combusting lately or dabs, like I said. So far, so good, on my throat. Crossing fingers. And about to go sleep really, really well thanks to the Sour Kush I just vaped. And yes, so tasty! Though I think I'm still dialing that in and will definitely need to play around a bit to find the sweet spot.

I love the Sphere. I debated between that and the Bubbler but ultimately I wanted something I wouldn't knock over and I can get a lot of other glass that is more similar to the Bubbler in shape/function if I want more glass later. I feel like the whole setup has a kind of retro-70s, Chemex vibe. (The Chemex glass pourover coffeemaker.)

The old controller ?
Cause the old XL and the TI use the same..
And If you use the same psu, it must not be different

Yes, the sphere is big..
for 4 u must use a tiny bubbler or j-hook to get vapor

6 days in with the Herborizer: I'm very happy with it! I have it on a smart plug so warmup is easier. A little frustrated when the heater stuck in the bowl today and the bowl went flying behind the shelf it's on. Nothing broken! But it had gone from sticking badly, to not sticking at all, and now to sticking randomly. I'll figure it out. Mostly, the warmup time is tough on a stoner...I've heated it up and forgotten about it multiple times already. But I'm totally happy with the vaporizer, build quality, glass, and everything about it. Not regretting not waiting for a DigiTi. I "set it and forget it" at 6 most of the time. If I want a cooler hit for taste, I'll only heat for 15 seconds and then draw.

Two weeks with mine and i'm very impressed. @6,5/6.75 and the sphère, i can have huge hits and really milky vapor. I preheat 10 mn. 3 hits. No hotspot, Never combusted, waouh!
The extraction is nice, vapor arrives quickly and densely, it's very pleasant and easy to achieve your goals, love it!

It's ordered! Buuuuttttt....ack. I missed ordering the extra "heater cover." Is this what is called "Injector Ti" on the site? Sigh. Oh well. Already emailed Seb a bunch because *three* of my credit cards were rejected by the payment processor. Finally got an order through, and now am kicking myself for not reading more carefully. I got an extra 18mm bowl and screens but had I thought it through a little more I would have also gotten a set of the 14mm accessories. Oh well.

What I got: Vaporizer Sphere Ti (no enail), Sherlock body for stand, extras: 18mm bowl, 4 injector O rings, silicone injector sleeve, locking clip (?) and cleaning flask. Cost w/shipping was 490 Euros.

Should have added (?): extra heater cover or 2, 14mm bowls, plug for cleaning? I'll just be super careful with my heater cover.

Does Scott at Vgoodiez usually sell things like the heater covers and bowls as accessories or will I always have to order from overseas? I did not think about how a 10 Euro accessory is going to cost 40 to ship.

I would email Seb to cancel and try to order yet again but I feel silly since I had literally five chances to edit the order. :bang: Stoner life! Thought I had it all dialed in last night when I filled the cart.

Thank you to all on this thread for the vast amount of info and feedback. Can't wait to try it out!
It's stern advice to order one or two spare "glass housings" (by heater cover I first thought you meant the silicone handle) for an overseas order, for the exact reasons you recognise.

Simply cheaper overall than a separate order.

I've never broken the glass housing myself. I have two spares. Not even sure where they are.

So it's not like refilling an oxygen tank. Just be careful. It's easy enough.

Worst case, it breaks, it costs you shipping to buy 2 or 3 more to be guaranteed "cover" lol.

Worse things could happen you know. Hope they got back to you in time anyway to amend your order.

Really, the set/package should come automatically with one extra heater cover, cost added in, IMO. If I still engaged with Sebastien, I would strongly suggest he consider this.

Because that's better than not suggesting it on site, or suggesting a spare glass housing with your order.

I didn't ask Seb to change it; it shipped too quickly for me to do that.

Having the vaporizer here in front of me, now I clearly understand what the housing is. I agree with you; it shouldn't be too hard to avoid breaking it. But I also agree that a spare included in the package would be nice!

The website is a bit confusing for this part. It just says "injector Ti cover" or something like that--nothing about a cover for the titanium heater. Not really sure what all the parts are "named." "Bowl" is easy enough but I didn't know what this "injector" was.

It's all good. Just annoying that I had 3 chances to add to my order but the light bulb didn't go on until it was shipped. I'll live. ;) There are, as you say, worse things that could (and do) happen! :)

Oh - and why I came to post - cleaned everything yesterday (not heater/injector and cover as it doesn't need it) with heated ISO and coarse kosher salt. I used the cleaning flask (but missed ordering the stopper for it, but made do) to clean the bowl. It cleans up so nicely and lasted a week through heavy use before needing it. After every bowl I carefully blow the ABV into my collection jar, then brush with my Mighty brush and blow that through to clean the screen.

The sphere is nice and clean again too. :) I appreciate the "lab glass" aesthetic, but am going to clean up my bubbler today and try it with that next,

From the vaporizers that I tried, the Ti/DigiTi are definitely Nr.1 as heavy hitters.
There is only a small handful of vapes that compare imo.

It makes me wonder about the difference between vapor signatures and how these differences are achieved.
I really enjoy testing different devices to see how they differ based on materials used and overall design. Titanium is my favorite metal for use in a heater (so far) on taste alone. Glass is slightly better for taste so the mix of glass and titanium in the Ti heater is different than a VROD for example. The material used for the bowl also matters with glass being the best for flavour but not the best for raw extraction power compared to a metal bowl and its added conduction heating. Then there's the little things like how the heater design of Ti makes the air swirl as it enters the bowl. This makes for a more even roast and again adds another dynamic.

@mistressofvape
Glass to hear you're enjoying yours! I wouldn't sweat about the heater cover. If you're careful with it you should be ok. Depending on where you have it set up you could always add a dab mat or something to cushion the fall if you're really worried about it. My bowl bounced off one of my stainless steel grinders and thankfully survived but I've since picked up some kleck clips. Now I only need to worry about the heater cover which doesn't really worry me at all.

About the position of the Titanium heater:
I understand that it is supposed to protrude about 5mm out the glass cover to create an air vortex. I would like to know if anyone experimented with greater protrusion while microdosing. Is it recommended to keep it around 5mm or is a greater protrusion beneficial for very small loads?

does anyone know any US suppliers of Herboizer accessories? or 3rd party makers for the glass bowls and the top glass piece?

@VGOODIEZ carries Herborizer stuff but I'm not sure to what extent.

If I was going to go 3rd party I would check with Oregon glass blower. He makes some really nice stuff and I bet he could make the bowl at the very least. If the heater cover is a standard glass size it should be even more simple.

then brush with my Mighty brush and blow that through to clean the screen.

A second bowl and a second glass injector must be in every first order.
I've broken nothing yet, but...

And a good brush, i can't do without the many storz&bickel ones i got. (Full of kief sativa...)
But they are not the best, the metal part will still have scratch issue.
Seb should have made/found a full wood brush for it. Even if u can found a good one by yourself..

with a brush, and iso/vinegar soak, it's just the cleanest vaporizer u can get.
Always like new, which is not the same with my craftys..

I bet he could make the bowl at the very least. If the heater cover is a standard glass size it should be even more simple
The issue with standarize bowl is the lenght, the elv8r work with the herborizer bowl, but the herborizer will be too long for an elv8r bowl.
It was made to bring full convection over radiation/conduction.
Smaller heater, or boxmod, need shorter distance. while losing convection benefice (eveness, in width and deepness, which allow +0.1g).

But the injector part is really specific. So, making only couples, will cost u way more than importation.

Just crank the heat up, if u're not satisfied with the fastness of extraction...
A shorter lenght, gives less convection with radiation risk (uneven in deepness).
It will work if u only cover the screen with thin load. As soon as u load a little more, u will take scorching risk...

Sorry I can't remember the full conversation about the heater depth, I think there was some talk about it around the time when we were discussing the official micro dose bowl (and DiY alternatives)

OGB does custom work so IF (I haven't asked him specifically about a Herborizer bowl/injector) he was willing to, he would easily be able to replicate the original dimensions. Price wise I'm not so sure, but an 18mm bowl from Herborizer would cost $90 CAD shipped, so I bet it's not far off. Adding injectors is another story because they're not very expensive through Herborizer. The design is even more simplistic so it would be even easier to replicate if Herborizer is using standard glass sizing.

It was explained to me that this is an updated version of the Herbo micro bowl. The Micro Basket Bowl. This one is 19mm vs the older 14mm. That clears things up but now I want to buy both lol
That is much better than the stock Microdose bowl... by far. That is unofficial, right? I'd buy it in an instant if this would be available in europe. It's quite similar to how I use the Tetra P80 and it's my favorite way to do quick microdosing.
The hot glass plug idea with dust everywhere in your glass is not the best design. The standard herborizer bowls are great though.

That was an official release if I remember correctly
I think the general consensus was that it was too expensive for what it was as it was based on posts by Meeemeee over on the Vapelife forum (and duplicated here altho I think he uses another name here so I'm struggling to find it for you) which was basically just a standard male/male and a female/female adapter (which you can buy for like $10)

Yes, hands down, an inspired innovation by the brill really, Vgoodiez.

Hands down better, not even the right word lol.

like, how much better is a round wheel than a square one, if you know what I mean.

That's how i microdose with mine the general opinion seems that the official microdose bowl ain't worth it, used a piece of leather to make a handle for the f2f adaptor as that gets really hot, also found that that set up works really well for hash.
Would love to configure the herbo and an f2f adapter in such a way so I could use 18mm cooling stems with it dry, considering some sort of vice to hold the heater pointed vertically up on my desk.
Was also wandering if anyone knows what the gasket bowl is on the herbo site, need a new injector and was just browsing, it doesn't have a photo so just curious.
