So is there anyway to get into "calibration mode" with the ha2.2? Apparently with the Elite, you can press all the buttons at the same time, and it gives you the ability to jack the temp from a max of 200c, to 210c? Just curious, as i'd like to pickup a 2.2 if I like my Elite, but that 10c could make a big difference.

If anyone has a MiniVap, the screens with an outer rim fit in the bottom of the HA perfectly!
I put one of them down and then the inverted crucible, keeps it very clean inside!

Oh, i am busy whitewalling my FC-187 with some Purple Kush in the HA 2.1 at 365!!
EDIT: 6 hits later and i am done but the herb is still green and producing clouds!

Anyone hre remember the largest group session they have had with the HA? I had myself and 4 mates, one or two bong rips on it each every 20 minutes or so seems to keep everyone happy and a fully loaded HA really does go on a long time!

Yesssss!!!! 8! That'll be hard to beat! Holliday season, those with the means should see how many people they can vape out in one HA load.
Whip and pump is good for crowds, give everyone 20 seconds and send them off.

Can't wait for my Elite to arrive!!
I seem to be only able to have one session with my HA 2.1 and then it has to cool for 30 minutes...
Not even used at max temp either, only at 365 for the whole session.

Towards the end the light changes from Amber to solid red and stays that way until cooled off.
I suppose it is a new unit but it is already very old, maybe that is the problem.

Oh well it will be a great backup just in case!

Do you take off the mp at all when this happens? It seems to be stuck in heating mode.

If you haven't done this yourself, I suggest turning dial off, waiting a few seconds and putting dial back to where it was originally. See if this 'resets' the heater, ie - it cycles again.

Keep in mind that it has such superior heat retention and insulation, it takes a long time to cool off on its own.

If i have a 30 minute session, which is quite often now, the unit works perfectly during the session.
The light changes to blinking green signifying the timer shut off.
However, if i want to do another load and turn the unit off and on again, i get the solid red light.

I have to wait about 20 minutes for the unit to cool down again before it will reheat.
I sometimes cut this time down by using the air pump and an empty chamber, just blowing air through the unit.
Then it works perfectly again!

This is a new thing it is doing. Remember it is an original HA 2.1 unit that is quite old and never been used.
Might have been an issue with some of the early units, not sure though.

HA Elite is coming to take over, so no worries!

Either way, this vape gets me so medicated it is crazy!
Somehow puts all my other vapes in the shade...

In the name of science i did a test just for you!
Vape was cold at the start

HA 2.1 set at 365 and allowed to reach temp, once LED was orange the PV GonG was loaded into the HA.
The stem contained 0,1G of Purple Kush!
Allowed to heat soak for 1 minute and then inverted onto my mini Peyote pillar (Chinese clone)

First hit was amazing and the cloud was as large as i could get from my EVO.
Nice and dense and super tasty!!
Second hit was just as large but slightly less dense, still super tasty!
Third hit was a lot lighter but just as big!

It goes on like this for a while if you can take it!
Clouds get bluer and smaller but the taste never goes bad.

That 0,1G has me medicated... HA has been turned OFF.

Oh and it is all done with in about 5 minutes... Hit and run or a session vape!

I'm still a bit confused on the physics of it all. @OF explained much in the Solo thread, and states that Solo is conduction and the HA is convection. Never really made sense to me considering a presoak helps with the HA and I can get vapour without a presoak with the Solo. I always maintained that the Solo is a combo of convection/conduction and I thought the HA was similar, albeit more on the convection side?

All of this is IMO!

The HA is "mostly" convection, if you remove the crucible/GonG between hits.
If i leave the GonG in the HA and look into it after a minute pre-soak, there is vapor build up in the GonG.
Hot air rises, logical.
Load is above heater, so the hot air rises and starts to heat load thus producing vapor with no draws.

It may not be conduction as much as it is radiant heat.
Very similar to the Vapolution vape but the HA will not cook the load!

It's voodoo inside this machine!

Presoaking helps me a great deal as well. I leave it in for roughly 30 seconds and get thicker hits more immediately this way, rather than the first draw being rather whispy. I usually wait a little while in between hits as well, to allow the HA to get back up to temp and for some more soaking.

I don't know the physics behind it either, but if you look on page 36 of this thread, there is a little bit of debate between whether or not the vape keeps cooking away even when not in use. From my personal experience, I want to get the crucible out of the HA as soon as possible. User @t-dub even throws his into a lab fridge immediately, because that crucible gets so hot! I feel like people are using a different version of the HA or a different method when they use it happily as a longer session vape. I can't see it serving that purpose, unless you have huge amounts of herb and don't mind wastage. For me it is very much a hit it and quit it type vape. I'd love to be able to leave my HA on with the crucible in and take a toke off of it as I saw fit, but when I accidentally leave it in and I come back to hit it, I get that taste that lets me know this herb is done. I also feel like this is why they added the attachable removable crucible to the Elite.

Two things about the HA, it will give you big clouds If you work for it, and it will teach you that you don't need big clouds to get turkey slapped with the long dick of being ZONKED! She's just a goer!

Whoa I didn't know you could do this on the Elite. OK now I want an Elite. I've always wondered if there was some way to "overclock" the HA up to 210. Probably wouldn't affect flower extraction much but it'd be nice to get that little extra from oil.

I know, I love using the ha with wax but I would love just a "little" bit more. Sometimes it's a little too wispy and takes a little too long. I haven't tried the glass bead ones though yet.

Friends, members, vaporists, LEND ME YOUR EARS!!! I am almost at a loss for words with how happy I am to have FINALLY pulled the trigger on the hAelite because it is by far my new all time favourite desktop vaporizer!!! So nice to be able to support the homeboys, especially in such a kick ass part of the country. I wish I pulled the trigger on this one a decade ago when I first started vaping. Most went down the Arizer route, and they are a fantastic company with great products, but none of them are for me anymore. Much prefer the hA for MY STYLE of vaping (exclusively water bonging).

Milking enough for you? I was worried that you might not be impressed vs the solo as I always found when using the HA the vapor looked less in the tube but huge on exhale! Glad you're loving it, lending mine to my sister at the moment her and her bf both combust and are digging it!

Using the tong or the solo gong? If the standard crucible and tong how did you redeem the large bowl problem?

Milkage is plenty, not sure what the fuss is about?! It's convection, and thus reflective of the physics, although I find if you let the crucible sit for a bit, you get an instant quick little "puff" of built up conduction vapour. I find that in order to milk it up good, just pull slower, keep the temp high, etc. I have been exclusively using the tong without mod, with .1-.25 loose pack and it all gets vaped up to perfect ABV every time! I don't a problem with the large bowl, i'm getting efficiency too, but I haven't tried ,05 yet, but could use the mesh pad for that, but it should all be resolved with the shorty gong.

I completely forgot about the solo gong! I'll give it a shot right now thanks for reminding me! I'm definitely ordering the HA gong today too!

I find the Solo so unsatisfying in comparison.... I thought I preferred conduction style vapour because it wouldn't make me cough in comparison to some other convection vapes i've used in the past, but the hA is probably the SMOOTHEST vapour i've ever experienced! The flavour is incredible! I have zero use for the Solo now!

A gram in that crucible will go much long and get say 4 people much higher than 2 joints ever could! Have you tried a bag or any direct draw yet? Direct draw with pump assist can be surprisingly fun.

A gram in the crucible is something that I want to try! But not yet! lol SO many things to test, but I have time so no rush.... haven't tried "espresso mode" yet which I believe it just jamming nugs into the heater port without the crucible? Or does it mean using the pump as well? I haven't tried the bags or pump yet or direct draw. What I think I will try soon is using the pump and seeing if it can push water in my bong and get vapour pushing out. Bags i'll try in time but not my favourite delivery method. Looking forward to trying!

Bags are fun to try but mine quickly got packed up, I don't use a crucible so always load into the heater. 1gram load is great, it sounds crazy by normal vaping standards to sit down and vape a gram+ but so many of us have come from combustion where 1 gram joint or blunt Is common place. Pump can bubble water and is fun, pump with the whip is cool tool.

Tried out .1g in the SOLO GonG with tremendous success! It's loose, but works well! Looking forward to the PV hA gong.

There's that video they have where he just keeps putting more in and packing it down, more in and pack it down, over and over and it looks like a valcano when he finally turned it on. I've always wanted to try filling to to 100% capacity like that, it looked bananas.
