Just so Dab HAppy!
I have a hammer too. I used your videos to hone my technique @paytonpenn imagine dab density through the hammer, now imagine if you could do that with flower only and no hands!

I would not say you cannot microdose with the Supreme. You certainly can. I just prefer to load it up. You can easily put .05 or .1 in there and get a few monster hits. I believe there are some in the Supreme thread that do just that.

Those were known as the old Lithe days (it required you to inhale to heat it up but once preheated it was thick milk).
I do have a flame lock and the UD gong if I want to go the no hands route with my Hammer. I normally only load .03-.07g per bowl but have only had concentrates for the last few months.

I think the Hammer produces a lot a of vapor in comparison (definitely not as easily dense), if you are able to get the right dial setting and airflow speed that is slow enough you can produce immense thick vapor without combusting but while leaving the flame on. A big issue with the Hammer is that the general usage is to stop or kill the flame also don't inhale slow while having the flame on. That drastically cuts off vapor when its about to really produce, or combust if your dial is too high. I keep my dial on the lowest area now and only have it high to heat it up for the first time.

I think my bag videos are good examples of that. They don't get immensely thick since I start at lower temps then raised to high on the second (first) video. The amount of vapor pulled from such a small bowl is great especially for 77 dollars, shows off further potential.

Vaporstore.com pull their LAST Daisy's from eBay and put them back in the stores stock. "420day" sale was still working as of yesterday to knock off 15%. Just saying.. Mine arrives the 25th, lily gets to meet her big sis! The price stung, but I'm sure its worth it.. I suppose you being a current owner you'd be a better judge of that though.

I'd also consider the hammer as an easy option for a heavy hitter. You could adjust the dial right and turn most anyone loose with it with no fear of combustion. The Supremes a monster, but it doesn't seem to do well with microdoses and takes an awful lot to warm up. If I were a more social vaporist I'd be all over it however.
I was/am hoping to hear your thoughts on Lily v Daisy when you get the blessed flower.

I had thought about buying a second Daisy when I got my first, but it's just frivolous, this thing is solid and I don't need no stinkin replacement. May need to buy a case for moving, but otherwise... its pretty safe and reliable. I figured in the end I'd buy only something another Daisy user could recommend, but I want even non-Daisy users' opinions to flesh out my understanding of each vape. So far Lotus and Supreme have been rec'd by Daisy owners, with Supreme being the preferred.

I've used and own a lot of vapes and have seen a lot, I have units that produce just as easily as the Supreme, the Hammer can get that dense, but it isn't easy if you using the Hammer properly.
Would you mind elaborating on the other vapes that hit as hard as the supreme? I'm looking for something easy to hook up to a 14/18mm gong for water, that hits like a mac truck and tastes good while doing it. Microdosing to a miniscule level is not necessary, but a 1g requirement is a bit steep (I'm looking at you, Bender). I'm usually more in the 0.1 - 0.5g bowl range, I don't like grinding, and I prefer not to stir if I can avoid that, as well. So basically, no session vapes.

Torching a unit for a minute and a half for a bonghit or two just seems impractical to me. I mean I want one because the power but I hardly ever share and my sessions are typically small but regular. It unfortunately doesn't seem like the ideal fit for now, but if a v2 or v1 pops up on classifieds I might have to snag it..

I'll definitely share. I've really honed my Lily technique in anticipation, Daisy arrives Monday. I'm almost scared!

May I suggest the supreme? :D

He does not own a Supreme so thats gonna be hard for him to advise. The Supreme doesnt quite sound like its for you though because it does everything you want but hit like a mac truck...mac truck territory is better reserved for the hammer, Daisy, and the likes. Supreme is a train. Comparing the Daisy even to the Supreme is like comparing an enail to a Daisy when talking effect IMO.

I am sure you love your hammer @paytonpenn. And its great that you do. Its just not in the same realm as the Supreme.

Agreed, they are in totally different realms. I am really looking forward to see more Supreme iterations; its currently not in the form I like. I can imagine a version that looks like it will belong in my arsenal. You have definitely put the Supreme further on my list of vapes to buy.

If I get one, I'll likely have difficulty keeping myself from modding it immediately -- the stand may limit burns, but it's not winning any beauty contests. Maybe like the Zion and Daisy I'll hate the looks until I use it, and everything will change.

People seem to love the Lotus, so I'm trying to give it a fighting chance in my decision-making.

I love my lotus but from what people have described from the Daisy, the Daisy should probably be a better pick than the lotus, which makes me think you'd like the supreme more. I've heard amazing things about the supreme and the daisy, and while I love my lotus, I don't think people praise it as much as those units.

Really though, if you want a butane vape, you can't go wrong at all with the Lotus.

I'm looking to convert (willing, but impatient) combusters, and to keep my personal sessions quick and allow me to frontload, as I might with a bong in days gone by. Sounds like aesthetics, portability, and heat up time of the Supreme are the downsides.

I don't own one, but yeah those seem to be the negatives ... But it also seems to hit the main points that you want more than the Lotus.

I don't use my lotus much because I've been loving the chillness of the vapman, but I used it more than my lsv because of how small it was.

The form (for water use) is really why the lotus appeals to me. Wish Triihouse could have made something that size for water tool use! Sigh...

Honestly, I feel like I get a flower dab from the Daisy when my torch is not shitty - I know @IAmKrazy2 was recommending the Supreme to me, knowing that I have a Daisy and Zion, so I'm expecting it to pack enough wallop to make it worth the purchase... it's really the aesthetics at this point (heatup time is also a bummer). Mrs ragnorokk will likely not enjoy its looks, which leaves me buying a Supreme AND something else. Ah, well.

Highly recommend the Lotus vape.

Bought for myself in 2014 as backup to my old trusty Volcano. The Lotus does take some getting used to, but the taste and overall level of control is something magical. Getting used to didn't take too long, read some of the tips in the Lotus thread or youtube and you should get it rather quick (within the first few uses).

Also I must add, last year I joined the Massdrop 'drop' for the Mighty Vape and went for it based on my experience with the Volcano. I *rarely* use the Mighty Vape and it is usually collecting dust and our go to vaporizer is the Lotus every time. The Mighty is a good product don't get me wrong, but I definitely regret dropping $400+ on it when my $70 Lotus does the work faster, on-par efficiency (except when i combust), and much easier to clean (and is hardly needed).

Your analogy makes perfect sense to me. Thank you, sorry if that derailed the thread.

I sold my lily after i got the vapman btw because it was too cumbersome for me but i still wish to try the daisy.

PIU is selling a daisy clone right now.

Daisy is also a light weight in comparison to the SV3 in terms of effect. Flavor is more pronounced from the Daisy though imo.

Taste is always so subjective. I like the taste in the Daisy, and i enjoy the added wood flavor. But IMO the S3 is much more pure with a thicker more pronounced taste. In fact, the S3 taste was/is so good thick and pure it really blows me away. Leaps and bounds better then v2 IMO. I have always been a fan of using unground nug chunks, i feel the more intact herb holds more terpines and flavor.

But, that's the beauty here with the subjective taste thing. Different strokes for diffrent folks, neither of us are wrong, and i respect your diffrence in opinion.

For anyone interested in the brick from PIU, there is a thread for it. The parts are supposed to be interchangeable with the daisy ones.
