Healthy Rips FURY EDGE

Edge feels pretty complete w dosing capsules (so screen inside accessories module removed) and bent mouthpiece. Between the two I get just enough "feel" added back to a very technique-free vape. Also liking how it makes cleaning even easier - including the loading area, which otherwise catches a half-dozen little green specs along the edges that need air or a needle to dislodge. At the expense of being able to stir or easily check the color of your flower, I'm ok w that.

Has anyone found the perfect waterproof container for 2-4 capsules? Capsules are each 13/32nd D x 7/16th L (10.5mm D x 11mm L). In addition to best size match, I'm only looking for non-coated, galvanic-corrosion-approved metals (steel or titanium, tho it's extremely unlikely the titatium options that are priced the same as steel are actually titanium). Best I've found:

2 capsule:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00MY9JUME

3 capsule:
https://www.amazon.com/TI-EDC-Keychain-Container-Emergency-Nitroglycerin/dp/B07HHXRLPM (maybe, the threaded lid might make this a 2 capsule container)

4 capsule:
https://www.amazon.com/GUS-Original-Made-Stainless-Keychain/dp/B00MY9JR0E
https://www.amazon.com/CIELO-Stainless-Container-Medication-Waterproof/dp/B00D2JKS6M
https://www.amazon.com/TI-EDC-Titanium-Container-Nitroglycerin-Medication/dp/B01LBAJF8A

UPDATE: Tried the 2-capsule solution, great diameter but threaded cap takes 5mm (3/16") so it's a 1-capsule solution. Going w GUS Original size, will report if it fits 3 or 4 capsules.

Hey guys, so I've been happily enjoying my Edge for 2 months or so. But yesterday my weed started to taste slightly off. So I've tested with another vape to see if it was my weed but it tasted normal. I cleaned thoroughly the Edge, but still the same results. The plasticy taste is very recognizable when I heat the device up on an empty chamber and breathe in without any attachement. Did this happen to any of you? Thanks!

Sounds like something has 'let go' inside, get in contact with HR, they will sort you.:myday:

Yeah, if it is tasting plastic-y reach out to HR (or other place of purchase) as @LesPlenty recommended.

Are you using caps or putting herbs straight in oven? If the latter, you may just need to give the oven a good cleaning (heated oven, upside down iso soaked q-tips). Of course that taste isn’t really plastic-y, but just throwing it out there.

Thanks man :) I just wanted to gather some info before reaching out to them. I got in contact and will keep you updated as soon as I have an answer!

Thanks for the advice man. I've doing both and iso-clean the oven every 2-3 weeks or so, it never gets really dirty (I'm not a power user hehe). I've gotten in touch with HR, we'll see where this takes me :)

So in general, the screw-on caps of key fobs reduce the usable space inside, b/c the caps aren't bored to the same ID, b/c the threaded section needs more metal. This isn't consistently included in the measurements given online, so finding a key fob that precisely fits Edge capsules is part luck.

I landed on the GUS Original, and won't search further:

https://www.amazon.com/GUS-Original-Made-Stainless-Keychain/dp/B00MY9JR0E

The ID 12mm, so .75mm open space around the 10.5mm capsule, that's pretty close. 3 capsules fit easy, to make the 4th fit I had to grind a little off the cap and switch in a thicker gasket, feels solid.

I added some hemp fiber to the bottom to make 3 capsules fit silently. With the 4th capsule loaded in the Edge, and the battery-intensive way I low-temp surf, 4 lightly filled capsules and a full battery get's me through the fullest vaping day I'd usually experience, including sharing w a friend or two.

I was thinking about buying a fury edge. Is it good enough for 3 people in a single session or is there not enough time or does the bowl need to be repacked?
The bowl size is about .2g and is good for sharing with one or two people, yeah. The advantages are the small size for carrying as a pocket vape combined with the versatility of the glass accessories. I'd opt for the bent glass mouthpiece or WPA as the free accessory because the flavor is better with a glass airpath. I only use the black mouthpiece for vaping out.

Would you recommend the bent glass mouthpiece over the hula stem on sneaky Pete?

Random question!

I was trying to clean the bowl as I don’t use the reducer...and the bowl was getting a little dirty.

I used a glass pick to try and get into some spots. Anyway, I thought I scratched the bowl and when I turned on the device...a single line of smoke/fume cake out of the bowl when I heated it up. That line of smoke lasted about five to ten seconds.

Is it more likely that this was some ABV or is it possible I scratched the steel or perhaps a coating?

Sorry if I’m being silly or paranoid...VAS got me good...

You probably just knocked a piece of herb into the bottom screen or heater when you cleaned it.

A light scratch is not a problem on a stainless steel bowl. Although scratches can hold resins and make cleaning a little harder.

Hi @BaroneBarra, Hi EU Vapers,

I asked the following question to HR:
"
Hello HR,

I am located in EU and I just discovered that https://vapefully.com is pre-ordering the Edge:

https://vapefully.com/pl/produkt/healthy-rips-fury-edge-vaporizer/

Please, can you tell if it is legit or not?

Please, are you aware of any other resellers in EU are planning to sell your Edge and related accessories as https://vapefully.com doesn't have the new caps or the stems?
"
They ansewered the same day the following good news:
"
Hi Kurly,

Thank you for contacting us! Yes, we have a wholesale account created with Vape Fully, and a bulk shipment going out to them shortly. They will have the FURY EDGE Bundle, FURY EDGE Glass WPA, FURY EDGE Glass Bubbler, FURY EDGE Dosing Capsules, and FURY EDGE Oil & Wax Pads available for purchase in the near future.
...
We also currently have three other approved European distributors - VapoShop, Vape Wellness and Namaste Vapes UK - and we are expanding our wholesale accounts with more retailers in Europe now. These distributors should have the FURY EDGE available for purchase within the next couple of weeks, if they don't already.
"
I tried to see how serious vapefully.com Team is and based on some Reddit post they should have pretty good CS.... but they have a shipping flat rate that sucks ... 38 USD if you are outside of Poland)

I also checked Vape Wellness and they have some good accessories like the Hula Stem V2 or the Sidewinder (those are for the DynaVap but should fit the FE attachment)

Let's see how it goes over next few weeks :)

Hi All,

So in Europe several shops have the Edge by now.

The only one that has also the accessories is Vape Wellness. Free EU shipping over 50 EUR https://www.vapewellness.co.uk/search?page=2&q=Edge

So, to close the case regarding the weird taste in my device. HR told me the airpath was still completely airtight but they acknowledged there was something tasting wrong. They decided to go through with a replacement of the unit. All in all, they have a great customer service and were very supportive all along.

I'm a very happy camper!

Hey all. Long time member who's been away for quite a while (just doing my thing with my Arizer Solo + Air vapes).

The Edge caught my eye cause of the air path and attachments, and also the type-C, haptics, and dosing capsules look like they'll make my vaping life even better on-the-go. Since I've been using first generation Arizer portables, just having digital temp and faster heat up time will also be a nice improvement.

For now, I've just ordered the vape with dosing capsules and water adapter. For portability, I've been using my Air with a "sipper" style bubbler I got off PIU. I see that they offer an Edge-specific bubbler, but it seems like it has that over-lips bong style mouthpiece, which I've never been as much of a fan of. I'm just wondering which accessory (water or otherwise) people would recommend for someone who wants something thats as compact but does a decent job of taking the heat/dryness out of the hits? I see a lot of talk of the hula/3D flow stems, and just wondering how good of a job they do at this in comparison?

and my missus (doesn't like me touching weed)Are the dosing caps the same for both devices?
Yup. Do fine, although the Edge version is easier to work with and seems to conduct the heat better.

Glad you're happy, several small (but nice) upgrades for a modest increase in size. I like the longer session times, buzzing notices, and ability to invert the screen (I like the short bent stem 'outboard'.
