Thanks Vape Dr. Enjoyable video. Yeah, I'm not getting the results you show. Not in the vape production or in the time it takes to warm up. I am going to grind my flowers finer and see if that makes a difference. Oh, and I will exercise some patience and wait for blinking to stop before I start....

Yeah its not possible to buy shatter here, at least I haven't found it to be available. When I was researching how to make my own concetrate I pretty quickly decided that I wasn't up for trying butane. Thats too dangerous unless you have the right space, lke a laboratory.

No problem my friend! That video was with the conduction screen. I use a Space Case and prefer a medium grind, not packed tight.

As with all conduction vaporizers never jump the gun. I usually wait 30 seconds after it's heated to temp before I start vaping for best results IMHO.

You can make your shatter with nitrogen or C02 as well!

EDIT: I was a little busy earlier.
My Blue Haze V2.5 is probably my favorite peice at the moment. Its so dark and ive said this before, they should call it 'Stealth Blue' . @scottg402 right about shipping location.

Guys ive been on a conduction screen kick! When out and about i use the cans, but at home ive been enjoying the conduction screens! Clouds on top of clouds behind clouds next to clouds......clouds all over.

Hey guys, thanks for your feedback to my questions!

I ordered my Blue Haze Sunday night from the official Haze website, chose the Free USPS upto 5-7 day shipping. It shipped from Georgia Priority 2-day and is expected to be here tomorrow/Wednesday. AWSOME! Didn't expect that. Thanks Haze!

I recently ordered a Blue V2 Pro Series 3 Vaporizer and did not at all like the Blue color. Strange color of blue and not at all flattering. So I am glad to hear you guys like the Stealthy Blue color of the Haze unit.

The battery of my V2 Pro is F--ked up so had to get a replacement unit which is also expected to arrive Wednesday. But I have such a hard time drawing from the V2 and it burns the entire bowl of dry herb so quick that it is extremely wasteful. I can't afford that. So this is why I ordered the Haze after reading all the Helpful reviews and experiences here. Thanks so much to all of you! I will be returning the V2 Pro Series 3.

Im so excited to get this thing!

Welcome to the Haze thread and please share your experience with all of us here. We have generated many ideas here for Haze folks and they always listen. That is the reason why an already great product keeps getting better and better. Congrats on your purchase and hope that you will enjoy it as much as all of us do here.

Is the haze's warranty transferable ,say if I bought a used haze would I have the warranty or is that so key to the person who first purchased it

I thought this vape was a hybrid ,not just conduction ?

It has both conduction and convection screens in the package. So yes you enjoy the hybrid effects. Warranty question though, I am not sure. You should PM Haze here or send them a question on their website. It is a good question. I don't think that anyone has asked this before.

I found that using the oil can with wicks(I double them).. and ejuice is as hefty an ejuice hit as I ever have had. I was able to rid the steel tube of any essence with an Iso swipe. New users could not detect the "irish Joe" ejuice's ghost. I have really been impressed with the voluminous vapor production using THC Tincture made with Vegetable glycerin.

Hey Vitolo,
Thanks for sharing! I just watched a YouTube video yesterday showing how to make a Marijuana E-Liquid with Vegetable Glicerin. Is that the same thing you are talking about?
Here is a link to the Homemade Marijuana E-Liquid video:

Can you tell me how the High affects are different this way than Vaporizing Dry Herb or if I made Hash Oil? Cuz I also watched a good vid on how to make Hash Oil, but think Marijuana E-Liquid sounds cool, but not sure if it would get me as High.

Also wanted to thank you for your efforts with the Pay-It-Forward Program. You seem like an amazing guy.
I am Disabled, on Disability. So that means a lot to me. I may need you one day and I am located in Phoenix, Az which I believe I read earlier is where you are based with the Program.
Thanks again!

Hey guys sorry to be reporting some negitives but im just trying to see if this is an isolated issue and if i should contact haze or not about this.

I've been noticing right above the oven chambers on the oven hatch/door that the paint is starting to bubble/crack a little bit from the heat. (I've had the haze for about a mouth or so and I'm pretty OCD so this is kinda a bummer)

And on a side note, may or may not be related, For the month that I've owned the haze and out of all the sessions I've had with it, it has only auto shut off after 5 minutes 3 times. And that was when I was vaping wax and was on the highest setting.
It never shuts off if I'm on levels 1-3 unless I'm not hitting it. Is that normal? I don't remember reading much about the auto shut off.

What's your opinions? Should I hit up haze and get this looked at?

bubbha ho-tep,
Anybody else think the Haze sorta looks like Captain Kirk's hand held Communicator device used in the Original Star Trek Series?
I haven't seen the Haze in person, yet. Its arriving tomorrow, Yeeah!
The Haze makes me think of Star Trek
"Beam me up, Scotty" , lol.

Volute of Vapor
Some update with my new Haze, I love it mainly for concentrates, it don't produces large clouds as my Hercule but it taste really good (Hercule stays a step forward), it's perfect to sip some small tastys clouds, reading a book or watching the TV!

About flowers....it taste really good imo at level 1&2, still really nice at 3 and use setting 4 only to kill my bowl if I get my waterpipe around but settings don't seems to find a nice spot able to produce larger clouds with a decent taste (IDK t° but imo setting 3 is just a bit too cold and 4 is a bit too hot) but it's a lot better than the Inhalaters does (nothing beyond level 6 and after a harsh taste, there is a sweet spot but it's difficult to find...)

Although when you hit it there is no more vapor after a 5-6s hit, as the Inhalaters does too, but the Alfa is able to keep the vapor flow, you need to draw really hard to totally clear the chamber.

The CS is awesome, I contacted us to ask for my Haze version and they offer me 2 free cans even if I live in Europe! I ordered a pack of XL batteries too since concentrate use need more power!

I didn't read all the thread, did you know if you can use the concentrate pad on the top of your load to avoid leaking? could it affect performances?

Thanks

Paint from under the hatch has come off on mine and is on the chamber indicators and actually rubbed off some of the indicator. It came back that way when I got it from Haze not sure how that managed to happen.? I figured there was no way to get around that. Its seems like it rubs against the indicators. That combined with the heat is your end result. I agree it bothers my semi-ocd. I say semi-ocd because if this vape was $50 I would not care as much.

OTOH, it does not affect performance, but I understand where youre coming from @bubbha ho-tep.

@bubbha ho-tep , I asked the auto-shut off question to Haze before. They explained to me that the function is designed that way. It detects usage based on your hits and it will not shut off as far as it detects usage within 3-5 minute periods. The temperature level that you are at, does not matter.

I completely agree if it was under 100$ I wouldn't be worried about it cosmetically at all,
But I've literally been treating this thing like a new born baby lol. so its a little upsetting to see the paint going already.
I even bought 2 other cases off eBay for this thing other than my "hi-pro" (I found one that fit perfect)
And I been rocking 2 battery's in a 3" knife sheath on my belt, and 4 cans in a exlarge keychain pill holder lol.

They should make some hazes with aluminum anodized finishs for the next upgrade. That would be cool. Might get too hot though?

And @bruce6110 thanks for the info man that definitely puts my mind at ease.

Battery comparison and thoughts: On average as recommended by Haze, is that a person take the battery out once you see the red light. This is done to prolong the life of the battery and also not to deplete is completely. This leaves about a 25% charge.

Original Battery - The average charge time for my standard Haze batteries is 6 hours 20 minutes. Heat up time to reach level 4 from a cold start is around 90 seconds. The battery lasts on average at temperature setting 4 about 45 minutes.

XL Battery - The average charge time for the XL Battery is 6 hours 40 minutes. Heat up time from a cold start to temperature level 4 takes around 70 seconds. The battery while being used at level 4 temp lasts on average 65 minutes.

I eventually plan on sitting down and going through the various temp setting to see if the charge time is extended while only using lower temps as a constant. My guess is it maybe will give a person a little more time but only by a few minutes if any.

I have also noticed when the original batteries start to get low that if you slide the door open and closed that the original batteries will give away another sign that they are getting low before you see the light turn/red while using the unit. When you go to slide the battery door closed keep an eye on the lights, you can see the lights flicker on the unit for a split second and can see it flicker red when they get low. Just a time saver if you keep yours eyes peeled.

I am very pleased with both of the batteries that @Haze Vaporizers has to offer. For one as a consumer having choices makes buying even better. The build quality of the batteries is very good in my opinion too. I have dropped a few and then some and they sustained no damage and had no issues. I am in no way saying these batteries are built to be beat up on, just know that for the most part they can handle some hits.

I also like the fact the Haze takes the time to add a graphic on the Batteries. Of course this does not do anything but I like the fact that it is not just some red or yellow colored jacket around the battery. I also noticed that positive node on the XL battery is noticeably larger and that the XL's seem to make for an even more secure fit when placed in my Haze unit compared to the OG version.

Advice/suggestions: It all comes down to how you use your Haze. In my case it has become more of an all around instead of strictly while I'm on the go. I prefer having multiple batteries for a few reasons. First, having more batteries in rotation will give me a longer life out of each one because it is not being depleted as much thus taking longer to finally fizzle out. Standard or XL, I plan on getting more XL's because I travel to places where the temperatures get down right nasty cold and the XL from my testing heats up a bit faster and time is important when you are in the cold.
If I was still strictly only using my Haze when I was away from Home and on the go the standard batteries are more than sufficient for the job and are very reliable. I however have changed my Haze usage (use it like a mad man) and want the added power/charge so purchasing more XL's are in the near future.

Enjoy your week all and as always cheers!

@ScottR
The question: Is anyone using a similar material and do you have some suggestions on how to fill the cans without making a mess of things?

When working with the sticky/honey/goo/oil to stay clean and mess free I get a nice dab on the tool I'm using and then heat up the tool above the dab. This in turn transfers the heat throughout your dab tool thus warming your material enough for it to slide/come off into your cans. Just get some pliers to hold your tool or some gloves so you don't get burned from the hot metal. :) I do hope this helps you a bit and it is great to hear that you are enjoying your Haze & welcome to the family.

Had a very good back and forth with Haze. The replacement rubber cover is on its way.

Coincidentilly, I also notice the solid & hollow printed icons that live under the swing cover to be worn off. I am sure that the issue I have with the rubber cover coming away from the swing cover is the culprit in this case. When it is affixed to the swing cover and seated properly, the placement seems to prevent the cover from closing tightly onto the body where the icons are screened.

The very nice person at Haze has given me permission to reprint her advice for beginners (like me) on using the Haze:

Please note that the low settings (1 and 2) is designed for people who enjoy the low temp vaporization. You will not see big clouds on those settings especially with the convection screens and the cans. Those are the good taste and the healthy vapor settings. The big visible clouds happen mostly with the conduction screens at higher settings. On the other hand, just because you do not notice visible vapor, it does not mean that you will not get the taste and feel the effects of your herbs though. That is the point of low temp vaporization.

There can also be a learning curve which will need some time for you to experience with your unit. How well you grind, how tight you pack, the quality of the herb, moisture of the herb etc all play a role in the outcome. As you get to know the unit, you will start experiencing and enjoying these more and more.

We always recommend:

-Loose pack
-Well ground
-¾ full chambers (max)

For more visible clouds:

-Use conduction screens
-Use setting 3 and 4
-After a cold start, once the unit is at temp (lights are solid), wait an additional 10-20 seconds before your first draw.

Well thats my report. Unlike my Haze, the "storm of the century" is living far beyond what's advertised.
