Hey friend! What website were you able to find the crucible kits? Thanks!
It's called - portable hookahs!

now they claim to have them, i ordered them plus the extra battery pack. they acknowledged the purchase 2 days ago but nothing on shipping yet. i'm used to one day shipping on stuff so i'm hoping they actually have the things that no one else has or they will get a nasty gram from me.

i'll update as soon as they say it's sent.

Its been a while since I posted. Im among the
quiet and contented with my mv1 as well. I did experience latch failure as well as a unit that overheated very easily but was taken care of quickly due to their exceptional cs. Honestly Im curious about the next steps for the company. If they are working on a follow up unit what else will they bring to the table? Id really like to see a sliding door of some sort to replace the latch as well as a being able to load directly in the unit or through a crucible. A smaller form factor would would also be appealing without drastic sacrifice to battery life. Honestly I can do without the concentrate function as Id prefer a separate device. Any other cool mv2 ideas out there?

I felt like I had finally mastered my MV1 after 50+ crucibles and then I got sick, so two weeks now of no usage. Probably be another month with my latest bronchitis diagnosis so my body can heal up. I really need to stop looking at FC, Vapelife, /vaporents, DHgate etc. lol. The other day I just opened one of my containers to smell. Ha ha that's sound pathetic but I'm not craving, a blessing is disguise to give my body a reset.

@Choices Are you in the US? They just had a promo with a free fast charger and I suspect they'll do it again but maybe not for a few months.

so Far your typical big holidays ....usually you get some thing for free like the fast.charger....other.sales have included free crucible dispensers as well....so the price is the same.but the necessary accessories are.included.for free.....hope that helps.....no brainer is free fast charger and crucible dispenser or battery imo

I too love my stealth and have experienced same issues but Ghost CS is.superb so no worries. I like the sliding door idea :tup:and I would like to see the dispensers.with some form of way to write on outside of door.....think dry erase.....what strain, indica, sativa, etc. Is inside

Until they do you can load sativas at the top and indicas at the bottom of the dispenser. Flipped upside down is spent. I open mine like a book each time so I dont confuse orientation.

I downloaded an app called 4Note to make a note widget on my home screen that can be easily edited. There are tons of widgets out there but I like 4Note because of the translucent background.

Until they do you can load sativas at the top and indicas at the bottom of the dispenser. Flipped upside down is spent. I open mine like a book each time so I dont confuse orientation.

The crucible orientation inside the dispenser can be detected without opening the doors at all, just by looking from outside.

UPDATE to my rant. i was searching via bing. when i thought hey, let's try google. i started finding some helpful info. none so far as i've read answer my questions/concerns but it's something at least. i'm a bit embarrassed by my rant but it remains as written. i'm nothing if not honest. mostly! :)




got my ghost. kind of confusing. if there is a youtube out there with any answers to questions or problems, i haven't been able to find them. the 2 guys who did the videos for ghost don't mention a single problem and quick fix and oddly enough, never seemed to have done the video on using the app which they said they'd do about a year ago. oh and hey, the mouthpiece just slides right out. such fun when stoned. let's play who the fuck lost the mouthpiece! yay!

never saw that mentioned in any of the vids or things i read. it's quite possible i'm just not searching for the right things.


i downloaded the app. it paired fine, it updated fine. recharged the battery, now i can't get it to re pair up with the ghost to save my fucking life.

i charged the battery with the quick charger for 4 hours. i drained the battery in no time. the device is hot hot hot after some vaping at 365ish F. ..IT MIGHT HAVE BEEN 390ish...

what is with the blinking red lights? like 10 blinks in a row then a buzzzzzzz. does it mean low battery? it does it when battery is still at 70ish percent.

not happy, not pleased, not a newb.

all i find at another site where ghost reps are active are 1 year old posts (about a year seems to be a default. although there are posts from a couple hours ago, they are in long strings of problems, fixes, attempted fixes, call ghost, email ghost, maybe this will work...

i'm an old contracts person. purchasing agent etc. how your supply chain could be so fucked up is beyond me. do you have a contracts person? or is it a cousin who needed a job? i'd love to see your contract with your suppliers. any penalties for fucking up? any penalties that you can actually have kick in right now to keep you in the accessories business? nope, nope, and nope.

you didn't have a contract, you had a shit document that put the entire burden on ghost. get your shit together or you'll be like the herbalizer folks. out of bidness!

it seems like you really have a $400 plus device after you add in the necessary quick charger and the necessary extra battery pack and extra crucibles. cute trick but it's a trick and consumers don't typically like tricks.

if my mighty didn't have cracked plastic falling off it, i'd be on that like a baby on a nipple!

i need a phone number. too many odd things happening for a back and forth on line.

just like the old days with games, put out 1/2 finished product and fix it as you go.

Lets see what I can answer......red lights blinking ten times is over heating warning/protection....if overheating at 365 pm ghost thru here as that is unusual, app - I have noticed if I try.to change the name the app gets stuck I leave mine as ghost mv1 not sure if same problem though, contracts- unfortunately many businesses are facing increasing tariffs/costs as well as qc manufacturing problems when doing business in china, and finally not sure what reviews you are referring to but here we have discussed our problems and ghost has been great solving issues in a quick.manner. I'm sure CS will get.you square d away...hang in there.....I use for medical reasons and am a heavy user and have had issues but.this devices extracts the most out of the small amount used and the effects are phenomenal for me......hope it helps....

Please try as best you can to follow these steps in order. Any deviation from this sequence (as tedious/arbitrary as it may sound) will affect results.

1. Delete/uninstall the GHOST App
2. Re-install GHOST app
3. Remove battery from MV1 and re-insert (this essentially resets the device)

Next ...

PAIR TO THE APP
(1) Make sure bluetooth is enabled on your mobile device
(2) Open the GHOST app
(3) Click the icon in the top left corner > Remove all vapes currently connected (if necessary)
(4) Turn on your MV1
(5) Press and Hold the home and vape button down at the same time for 3 seconds to search for app (even though it still might be flashing yellow lights).
(6) A notification will pop up on the app saying that it's stuck and needs to reset
(7) Click okay and reset the device (Reset vape via app takes 60 seconds to complete)
(8) Put MV1 in pair mode > Pair to app

**** If pairing is unsuccessful ****

(1) Remove battery and re-insert battery
(2) Turn device on
(3) Put device in pairing mode

**** Once paired, if there's a firmware update, you will get a prompt ****

UPDATE FIRMWARE
(1) Click on the icon in the top right corner
(2) Your MV1 will be displayed at the top of the next page; click on it
(3) If a firmware update is available, you'll see a (1) next to "Firmware Update"
(4) Click on "Firmware Update";
(5) During update unit will display 1 Amber LED moving side to side; update completes in 60 seconds

i finally got a nice dark abv from a load. i'm working on it. i knew it would be a bit of a learning curve but this to me is a bit much. then again, i call myself stressed for a reason! :)

just got 6 or 7 nice hits at 338 F. i'm aiming for 369ish to work on my draw technique.

i tried some shatter, did not go well. lol
i have plenty more to work on. but not one exhale with vapor my first try. at 3 blinking red lights.

i'm sure i'll be fine in a couple days. i'm definately anno7ed that there are no extra battery packs around, i'm getting tired of staring at the red light on the quick recharge thing.

as i was sitting here, once again staring longingly at the battery pack being recharged for the umpteenth time, i was on the ghost site and holy moly, they had battery packs for sale. i just bought one. i think i checked there for the battery pack before but maybe not.

the company that said they had the battery pack and crucibles available emailed me with an apology stating they didn't have any of it.

anyway, i am using my damaged mighty, a drunk monkey could get a good hit off the mighty, and am seriously considering buying a new mighty. i haven't given up on the ghost. a lot of fans are fans for a reason and i am willing to take a little more time to get better at using this thing. but so far, not impressed. nope.

i got a few good hits of shatter off one load, the next drop of shatter i didn't get one puff of vapor. wtf? lol . i have been doing some spot cleaning with iso pads but i'm reading up on doing a thorough cleaning and will get around to it sooner or later. one of the joys of being retired is any and every thing i do, i do in my own sweet time. :)

i've gone through 3 plus grams of bud, all dry, course grind, medium grind and as fine as power grind. still have no idea what works best other than what i've read. it's pretty hit and miss for me. my last crucible full had green material all around the inner side of the plastic crucible. made me laugh.

i occasionally hook the ghost up through my water device, the odd shape of the mouthpiece was overcome by using one of ratchetts rubber thingys and some tubing. it makes the draw too hard so i'm working on another set up but i prefer going through water most of the time.

my old stoner lungs don't like heat.

OMG, the battery pack is recharged!!!! time to experiment some more.


aaaaand i just bought the bubble straw from sneaky pete. you cant' say i'm not trying to like this thing!

only the last few pages. i've bought all my vapes after reading FC members comments. as my mighty broke, i made a fast purchase based on youtube vids and here and there. i read the negatives but kept coming to the conclusion that it was working quite a bit better than a year ago.

i'm a consumer. sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

the jury is still out on this one.

How many crucibles do you get through in one battery pack? How many draws? What temps? I documented my first 50+ crucibles (minus the first charge on each of my 2 packs) worth all the above info as well as pictures (most of the time) when I removed the crucible and when I dumped it out. Everything is on a note pad at home so I can't double check but I was around 10ish crucibles if I remember correctly before I needed a charge.

@SquirrelMaster i keep trying to count but usually end up spacing out. when the device is down to one green light i stick it on the fast charger. i get stoned using it but at the moment, i'm going through a lot more bud than usual. we shall see. :)
