Ive been away a while and not up to date.
I gave away my e-nail, and looks like you can make one with that but maybe not a safe one.

Ah this is the thread you want although it has gotten quite big somewhere there is a list of everything available I think but you can also read details about each and see use:

Hi all, I was fortunate to recieve a G43 with the mod cable and while I have a mod on the way, I'd also like to set it up for the mains as well. My understanding is that a VVPS will run it fine and rather than cutting off the ability to connect it to the mod, I'd like to have both capabilities. My plan is to wire up a female barrel plug to a battery adapter so I can go straight into the vvps by plugging into the adapter:

First, is this sound? It seems functionally the same as Kenny's hardwired barrel plug. Secondly, how do I determine which of the wires should attach to which terminal (terminals are marked)? I can follow Bud's wiring from the plug to the coil, I think. Should the leg be the negative terminal and the coil positive? Does it matter? Third, can anyone share experiences doing this, especially with a vvps like the Woodscents'? Voltage level, etc?

Fourth: any additional warnings or anything I should be aware of? I'm a total n00b here, just trying to logic this all out.

Thanks. Humbly accepting thoughts and prayers. ; )

i think 4 volts is a good starting point with the vvps ... i run both my g43s around 4-4.5 ... and remember it gets pretty damn hot!

Thank you! Are you connecting through the sled?
i don't have a sled version ... i have an og mod version and a ruby wall (vvps) version but i have an adapter for the mod version to run it through a vvps instead (like you are trying to do) ... so i can use either g43 as a mod version or a wall version

ah, I don't think I've seen a ruby wall version. The mod version is the female half of the cable with clips or a barrel plug iiuc? I've got more catching up to do!

You want a power supply that that will go upto 5A > a PWM (step down convertor) > a JST SM 2 pin (2.5mm) connector

The JST SM 2 pin (2.5mm) connectors aren't very good connectors tho to be quite honest so when I connect my G43s n things to a mod the resistance is different each time
So you're probably best off removing the JST SM 2 pin (2.5mm) connectors and replacing them with better connectors

The adapter and plug parts came so I assembled and tried them out. First, this is a really sweet vape, I feel fortunate. The stand is so handy that it's half the joy. Second, everything seems to work really well at about 4-4.2V (so far); I'm using the 5a VVPS that came with my Vapbong. The connections are slightly warm but only noticeably. I'll have to think about a more permanent solution; I'd rather not have to rewire the cable to use the mod, but I will probably mostly use this plugged in.
