FUCK YOU!! To all the young inexperienced ignorant hiring managers at dispensaries in Colorado. You all act like there was some MAJOR skillset involved to work in your shitty, fucking, dispensary. Things like "reliable transportation", "show up on time to your scheduled shift", "no cannabis knowledge required--will teach". And you wonder why the same companies are always putting up ads every other week. As a cannabis using professional, if my ability to "show up on time" and "have reliable transportation", isn't already implied, you're a bunch of morons who are missing out on some very creative, innovative, passionate, and knowledgeable employees. Bunch of reddit/instagram wooks who think a gram of dark amber shatter is the top of the food chain. FYI---I have been medicating for longer than most of you arrogant fucks have been alive, and I PROMISE you, YOU don't know quality from your @sshole.
No, I'm not bitter because I now have a full time gig in a growhouse, growing organic, award winning flowers. We are listed on High Times list of strongest strains ever as well. Not that I have much love for HT.
You know how Tom Brady is still very pissed that he wasn't taken until the 199th pick in the NFL draft?
He used that as motivation to excel and wage war on all those who deemed him "unfit".
Well, my football days were over after High School. But I will use that same motivation to rise to the top in this industry, that I promise. Here's what else I promise to you, fuckers:
---I will not forget the questioning of my skillset, knowledge, passion for all things cannabis and all my canna-activism(were you 20-somethings out in the public in Co doing everything in your power to make legalization a reality? Yeah, that's what I thought).
---I will not forget how you made me question myself and the biggest chance in my life I ever took. I gave up everything to make this a reality. Not to mention I haven't seen my children in almost 6 months. But that was no big deal, you wanted to hire a cashier from wal-mart instead of the person MOST qualified. I'm sure she was really pretty though.
---I will do and learn everything I can at this place to help make it one of the best companies in Colorado and when the Cup/Competitions come around; wipe my ass with your shitty pesticide-laden, un-flushed, powder mildew infected, "flowers".

That is pathetic considering, at the very least they can buy a cheap usb microscope and do a simple inspection for spores and mildew. There is enough people who have a passion, like yourself who could have been employed at these places and rise a tide that would lift all boats. Plus there is so many other models from other states to refer to. I have heard of this problem from other sources and can see this even being more salt for you, especially if you want to make an impact for medical patients. Just when we could use some credibility. Also I have never met a person who hasn't helped me with MJ, who didn't give me any free advice for growing. There is some retail MJ like say Willie's Reserve that might put these practices to shame and set some sort of baseline for quality. I hope anyway.
But we all get the gist. Would have mentioned Monsanto, if I knew about them. This was way when back when there was only one pot shop in CA.
