Thank you guys. I'm numb, in shock really. We have two cats that are 15 (one could be older), and we know they have more time behind them than they do ahead, but Aramis was only 10. :(
I just lost Baboo - 23 years. That was last month and I'm still constantly on the verge of tears - deep deep sadness. He was my soul mate like no other. I feel the pain you feel Vicki, and again I'm so sorry.

@Vicki
It is so hard. I feel for you! When it is sudden it is heart wrenching. We open ourselves to some of life's best and worst moments when we accept pets into our hearts. The unconditional love that we give to, and get from our pets, is such a wonderful feeling. I have no children, the closest thing has been my pets. (Cats). When I have lost them in the past, I am a total emotional wreck. And then a strange thing ALWAYS happens... A new friend always finds me and it begins again. I have had many cats and all of them found me. Never bought, or even went to pick up a cat. They always seem to know when I am ready and find me. The last two that I lost (in a fire at my home) still bring me to tears. Over 3 years later!
Know that you have support here among your FC friends and family.

Thanks guys. I cried myself to sleep last night. Aramis's mom, Calli, has been looking around, and I can tell she is looking for her. Porthos and Athos are the same way, crying randomly. :(

We found Calli 10 years ago (she was about 6 months old), and she was pregnant. She had all 7 of her babies here, and we ended up keeping three, our Three Musketeers, Porthos, Aramis, and Athos. They were all literally born into my hands, and I helped bottle feed some of them, mostly Athos because she was the runt, and got pushed away a lot.

I wish we could help her mom and siblings because they don't understand. They just know she is gone. :(

I'm on a Christopher Walken kick today and thought we might need a laugh. I was amazed that I couldn't find more clips on this sketch of his. But this one is sort of interesting cause it shows the "behind the scenes" footage at the same time.

Well its a good thing I sought out my super genius primary care physician. He told me it would be "bad form" for them to take out my gallbladder and then for me to have the same pain a month later . . .

The history of my symptoms on this matter remains unclear at best so he has ordered a HIDA Scan (that's nuclear medicine folks ) and an upper G.I. (lots of shitty stuff to drink ). We will know more l8tr . . . :peace:

So, big mv nay be joining @t-dub in the surgery arena. My docs think they might know why my legs are giving me so much trouble. I originally thought it was payback for being fat for so long but it turns out it may be related to something completely else.

Don't have enough info yet to be factual but I may be lightning the ole' tool bag!

This ^^^ should have been done to you a loooong time ago buddy . . . ;)

Depending on my blood work, she may want to start me on a med for my Rheumatoid Disease. :(
This could be good Vicki. Most of my meds up until now were first approved for RA then "borrowed" for my disease. A biologic might help stop joint degeneration for you and reduce pain and inflammation. Once you find out which drug let me know because I've probably already taken it and can give you a general summary.

Hubby left on a business trip today. Our daughter, myself and the furbabies have the whole house to ourselves until Saturday morning! :buzz: :dog:
Spinocerebellar ataxia (SCA)is a broad term given to many different varieties of the disease. Being it is rare and it's symptoms can be relate to other disorders, it is hard to distinquish or ascertain how many are accurately diagnosed with the disease. The last true numbers affected each year about 100,000 annually in USA. My data was about 6 years old.

It can be classified as either dominant or recessive. It can be atypical. Most types are rare. Since SCA is generally rare, it is classified as a cousin disease to other motion disorders such as Parkinsons.

If I should leave let me know?

No need to leave, but could you explain why you quoted Vicki's post? I'm way too high to make the connection.

Or are you just fucking with me because you know how high I am?:hmm:

Stu I'm just wondering if Vicki has Parkinson?
I feel like I'm the only person on this forum that has SCA?
On this tread for Parkinson it seems close to what I have.
Need to just forget about it!
Blueberry will help!
Sometimes I speak in riddles I know!

I'll give you a quick intro to this thread, taxman:

@mvapes has parkinsons. He also likes getting new meds, losing weight and the smell of coke.

@Vicki has really bad luck with injuries and surgeries and loved pets.

@dorkus_molorkus is heavily involved with general fucketry, and likes to stuff things in peoples' asses. Even his own.

Poop will be thrown and curses will be cast in this thread, so your participation requires a release form that should be signed, notarized and sent to mom for approval to post in the thread. I'm not sure how you got past our strict pre-approval process, but I'll bring it up in the next mod meeting.

I don't want you to leave! There is an all girl thing going on at my house right now, except for the male dogs and cats, of course, but that's not in this thread. You'd probably be uncomfortable at my house, but I think you will feel right at home in this thread.

Stu I'm just wondering if Vicki has Parkinson?

No, I have Rheumatoid Disease, and apparently, I break bones easily. :(

I've got chronic hip pain, arthritis (not RA, though), and fibromyalgea. I also use mmj to bring down my BP (hey! I've had a few days of less than 130/90!!woo hoo), calm my social anxiety, relax my OCD (CDO), and it does something beneficial for asperger's, as well. I'm just borderline. I have super powers.

@ataxian you most definitely belong in this thread!

The funeral was lovely. graveside "service" was... huh? weird. nothing like I've experienced/expected before. anyway, Mom is with Dad now. Rest of the family is still a wreck, myself included.
