Thanks everyone, pain has subsided a LOT, but damn my body does not even like baby doses of Norco. Thankfully MMJ helped, but not totally. My body just does not like codeine tablets :uhoh:
I will get a second opinion if it persists ;)
@DDave i love all my kids but some were so special they needed to be forever with me. My artist did a great job with that one, he was so detailed and it took 3.5 hours . It looks exactly like Lucan.
@mvapes be well and hopefully you'll get the help you need  sending positive thoughts for you at this time:luv:

@mvapes, there are no words, you will be in my prayers as well.

@VaporsVaporizer, I have much better luck with real codeine over the synthetic, but when I did try the synthetic, the brand name vicodin was much easier on my stomach than the generic because of its enteric coating. Now I use the generic real stuff (tylenol #3), but is still affects my tummy. Never tried norco.

I'm hoping for the very best for both of you

Since I'm majoring in pharmacology I can't help but mention that Norco contains hydrocodone, not codeine. Similar, you make hydrocodone from a codeine synthesis, but some people tolerate codeine better than hydrocodone. Might just be that you have a genetic predisposition for having lots of the enzymes that metabolize hydrocodone into other stuff (hydromorphone and norhydrocodone being the main ones), so what would for someone be a standard 5-10mg dose may be "treated" by your body as more even though it's technically not. Had an old ladyfriend that couldn't even take a single 5mg hydrocodone because she'd puke, she took 2 Tylenol 3's (60mg codeine) and could barely keep her focus without nodding out every few minutes. Everyone's different and I suspect that either you're a hypermetabolizer or just sensitive to the side effects of opiates (which is a blessing itself, truth be told...)

There may or may not come a time where you'll have to deal with pain that cannabis can't touch so you may want to give codeine (hell even half a Tylenol 3, would only be 15mg codeine) a shot if narcotic relief is needed.

Thanks for that info  I tolerate codeine cough syrup well , well certain types anyway or i used to when i got bronchitis all the time when i smoked. I still have some nausea and i only took half a tab yesterday at 1 pm :o

You're probably correct about the way my body metabolizes drugs. Most people take benedryl/ antihistamines and sleep, not me . A few years ago i had a wacky thyroid test result and they put me on the lowest dose possible of Thyroxine that sent my body into a tailspin that lasted for 2 weeks -that was a nightmare. I started having anxiety etc . So they put me on Zoloft cause i asked for some Xanax(which helped) and that was almost as bad as the Thyroxine. I took only one dose of the Zoloft and that was enough for me . I'm gonna ask my physician to have one of those drug screens run to see what i'm sensitive too

So now I'm back on it and they doubled my fucking anti-depressant.

If I took every pill that the drs asked me to I would be rattling. Times when I've been unwell I've been on over 30 pills a day (anti inflammatory, pain meds, antibiotics, DMARDs, light chemo for arthritis, sulphur, immune function suppressants, cholesterol meds ...)
Fuck that, I ended up so mentally and physically twisted and got myself off everything including almost 300mg of morph and break through codeine, I'm off everything bar taking 2 pills a day.
Occasionally I will take pain meds (usually I will cold extract the morph or codeine away from the fillers as my liver appreciates this) if vaping isn't helping. But I've learned that all the drs pills don't really help.
Yes some meds are necessary, but everyone needs to be educated on what is being fed to us.

I don't want to be a zombie, I'd rather have ten less years on my life that makes the next 30 odd years better. We are all going to die, I want to live while I'm here, not be chained to pharma meds.

My mother is a classic example of being a pharma slave, because her Dr said she should take a pill, then pop she gobbles it down no questions asked. She's 65, with no real health issues but it a total pill head, Dr addict. She has memory issues, coordination probs and can be a real c*nt from all the meds, she loves nothing more than being referred for a X-ray or going off to see a specialist. I try educate her, "mum get off the pills and have some MMJ", she tells me "no, it kills brain cells"
Really... Just really...

Anyway, if you have noticed the absence of Dorkus lately, he's fine. The extra head that has been sewn onto his right shoulder is grafting nicely.
I enjoyed getting a tour of the prize winning sublimator, and in true me style I tried to pull it apart to see how it worked. Dorkus not like this.
I haven't tried the sub, by Dorkuss description it hits too hard for me.

I am more of a supplement guy, I just discontinued my most expensive script (a powerful anti-fungal) recently for a much cheaper (and better) home remedy. I just started with a new regime, where I take a packet of pills that my (integrative) doc came up with (no more stupid multivitamins), but I also have plenty of specialty pills that I can't discontinue. So I alternate the packets with the other pills on odd days, with just a few that I take daily on both. If I was following label directions, I would be taking 40% more pills daily (about two dozen), feel worse, and have less money. So for me it's a synergy thing.

I've been doing this type of juggling for a while now and have learned that less is sometimes more when taking a shitload of pills, because they can interfere with each other. Now I feel like I'm finally hitting my stride with these things, the only two scripts I still take (pain pills and muscle relaxants) are dirt cheap just the way I like them!

If I could only sort out my cramping/electrical issues I would be good to go, but I fear that this condition can only get worse and I have no idea what to do about it. It's my biggest issue now, the other night I didn't get any sleep because I couldn't lay down for any length of time, it was the worst episode yet and I was fucking miserable. It has nothing to do with minerals, hydration, or electrolytes, it's degenerative cervical stenosis.

That's what I'm talking about Grokit. What the fuck are the drugs derivatives of? Natural supplements that our fat asses forgot about. If we ingested the nutrients we needed versus the food we want each of us would be in much better condition.

Hey, was talking to mvapes recently and asked why he cusses so much? He answered with this graphic...

Being the business man that I am, I noticed the time and detail used in making this presentation. This was much appreciated as otherwise all this data may have confused me!!!! :buzz:

I've got some degenerative stenosis in my c spine and ankylosing spondylitis in my thoracic spine. These are just off shoots from my rheumatoid arthritis. But you mention cramping, have you tried magnesium ? I can't rave enough about it. Epsom salts in the bath, magnesium supplements and diet greens.
Also look at apple cider vinegar and turmeric.
I've also made a few batches of collodial silver as back up, but I don't really know much about this stuff, so I want to get to know it before I do anything with it.

Also as a matter of interest, look up the benefits of star anise and elderberry. Many pharma meds have these as ingredients and try mimic them. Food for thought.

Collodial silver is great!
My hubby makes it by the pint, and we always throw a few ounces in the water cooler when we swap bottles. Extra goes in when we don't feel well, or during stressful times, to support the immune system & kill pathogens.

Our daughter used it with her toddler when he ended up with MRSA... she gave him about an ounce a day until he was better (she also used doterra essential oils, like lavender, melaluca, and frankincense, topically, as per her doctor's recommendation).

As long as you are using .9999 silver wire for this, in steam-distilled water, there isn't anything that would seem in the least bit hazardous, making the assumptive leap that you are not guzzling a quart a day for a year - the worst that will happen then is that your skin will turn blue (usually, that happens when people use powdered silver &/or well/city water with mineral salts in it).

I'm just starting to move some essential oils into my treatment plan, too.

I really wish I knew about the CS a few years ago as I picked up MRSA in the local hospital and had trouble shaking it. As in all up it caused me to have 27 operations on my left knee (I had to get surgery for septic arthritis in the knee then got the MRSA).
The antibiotics were useless and having a central line for many months was inconvenient and a huge infection risk to the heart.
I'm convinced modern medicine made me sicker and sicker.
And I'm convinced about what I've read about the CS that it would have cured from MRSA.

I made a collodial silver generator myself, I looked at a few pictures online. I've cut in half a 1oz pure silver pamp bar and wired this to a 15v mains plug. I did initially use a 240v plug, and wow it worked so darn fast !! I've got a distiller, so I'm very sure the water is steam distilled, I don't really trust the cheap bottles you can buy in the stores.
But I will let @dorkusmolorkus describe his reaction to my invention if he likes.

I've had success with the CS on my dogs who had some insect bites and scrapes.

I've used colloidal silver in the past (not for a while now), and have a variety of magnesium supplements. I particularily like a product called natural calm (mag citrate), as it benefits my metabolism as well by hydrating the colon. I also take the dr.s best chelated stuff, and drink a good amount of coconut water. I do need to try the epsom salt bath, a good friend recommended that after this last episode as well.

When we made the CS we would take silver quarters from the 1960's to a jeweler, who would convert them into the pure strips. Then we would use a couple of car batteries, and distilled water to make the stuff.

I do know and it has been painful watching it happen to you mvapes.....

It just pisses me off that the doctors can't communicate better. They seem to forget at times that they are dealing with a human being and not a guinea pig.

But it takes a strong man to be able to withstand all of what you've been through. You are doing a great job and hopefully they will find the right balance for you (and start communicating!) very soon. You've been through enough on your own without having that kind of "help."

This may be the best article on total health and wellness that I've ever seen.

"If you can:
  1. Turn the power on (this is a balanced nervous system)
  2. Get the communication excellent (this is a balanced hormonal system),
  3. Get the nutrients in the cells (this is a balanced digestive system) and
  4. Get the toxins and waste products out from the cells (this is a balanced elimination system).
Then you can heal from any symptom, condition or disease. ANY of them!

Balance the Hormonal System Naturally.

Your hormonal system is what carries the nervous system information to the actual organs, glands, tissues and cells of the body. It is the brain/body communication.

This means the following:
  • Pituitary- master control of the hormonal system. It is a part of the critical HPA axis- Hypothalamus in the brain is the sensor or thermostat reading the internal environment. When is senses a change is necessary it sends messages to the pituitary which then send messages out to the rest of the hormonal glands.
  • Pineal- controls sleep and immune function.
  • Thyroid- this is your furnace of your metabolism that runs you. Low fire=low enzyme activity=low health and vitality.
  • Thymus-this is the heart of your immune system.
  • Pancreas- this is your digestion source and blood sugar control center.
  • Adrenals- this is where energy and immunity begin.
  • Female/Male hormones- energy and vitality but not artificially induced or else you will have to pay the price.
Hormones
  • Melatonin – balances your immune system and metabolism (to keep the fire burning so all enzymes and metabolic pathway perform to perfection) – this is all controlled by light and dark cycles.
  • Insulin control brain chemistry and dopamine and serotonin levels that in turn affect your behavior and mood.
  • When one goes out of balance they all go out of balance.
  • Melatonin affects the pituitary gland function.
  • Pituitary gland makes part or all of most of your hormones. When it is thrown out of balance it will affect your:
    • Thyroid - metabolism, energy.
    • Thymus - immune function.
    • Pancreas - blood sugar, appetite, immune function.
    • Adrenals - stress management, pain control, immune function.
    • Ovaries/testes - reproduction, anti-aging.
In the order of endocrine command, the hypothalamus is the body’s CEO, orchestrating the events of the rest of the endocrine system.

The hypothalamus also initiates part of the adrenal stress response, causing the pituitary to secrete the hormone that travels to the adrenal glands to stimulate secretion of cortisol,

Adrenal and other hormonal gland dysfunctions can cause some of the above symptoms and more, including cravings for sweets, weight gain, allergies, heart palpitations, insomnia, depression, fatigue, poor memory, foggy thinking, headaches, nervousness, inability to concentrate, recurrent infections and glucose intolerance.

One very damaging adrenal dysfunction is excessive cortisol production, which causes, among other serious problems, increased calcium mobilization from the bones, leading to osteoporosis, or loss of bone density. In a person with a healthy stress response, excessive levels of cortisol are automatically buffered. Constant stress destroys this feedback loop.

Hormonal imbalances compromise not only physical health but also psychological health, manifesting as problems ranging from depression to panic disorder

The Chain Reaction of One Gland Affecting all others

HYPOTHALAMUS- BRAIN/BODY SENSOR
  • Pituitary -makes most of the hormones or precursors of most of the hormones in the body. Pituitary imbalance causes thyroid imbalance or dysfunction.
  • Thyroid gland-causes the metabolism to slow and the body temperature will start to decrease. All enzymes for all cellular function that maintain your life are dependent on the 98.6 degrees F. As this decreases you decrease your immune system response, you decrease function of all other organs and glands, you gain weight, your bowels slow down, your thoughts become foggy, scattered, your memory fails.
  • Thymus gland-this is next in the endocrine connection. Decreased melatonin will affect a decrease in the immune function of the thymus causing either hyper (overactive) or hypo (underactive) immunity. T cells are the killer cells that get rid of bacteria, viruses, parasites, fungus and cancer cells.
  • Adrenal glands-secrete adrenaline to prepare you for action, to give you energy and to boost your immune system, prevent pain. Less dark sleep = sick, tired and in pain, dysfunctional and drained, dis-ease in the making.
Thyroid Gland
