I just saw a news clip recently that said that "researchers" discovered that eating abundant anti-oxidant rich foods protects men (they were specific about that - they can't connect the dots with women) from Parkinsons.
I would think that getting lots of them now would only help. Yes, MMJ (at low temps) is an anti-inflammatory, so that is good...
So, think colorful, fresh food. Lots of peppers, tumeric, chilis, blackberries, blueberries, dark cherries... etc.
anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there. Oh, hey, coffee & tea are also great sources of antioxidents...
