Went to Trulieve to pick up some quick flower.
About a week ago I got Roll One Ice Cream Cake. Classic Roll One look and feel. Gassy smell, didn't come through on taste perfectly, but still decent. 7/10.

Went back yesterday, with no Roll One on the menu. He said there were a few in the back, and while he has no reviews on "Pastelito" because it was so new, it was "flying off the shelves".

I know word travels fast on forums/groups, so figured there was a reason for it.
(The man was amazing. I asked him for low cost, high terps. He found me 3 strains that were under $30, some "secretly" discounted, and all over 3% terps.).

I ended up going with that Pastelito. Sativa, 25% THC, 3% terps.

Absolutely loving this. It has that orange creamsoda type smell, like the Loma from RiSE, or a few other strains I've had now, one or two from Sunbun. Seems this flavor profile is working it's way up to being a bit more popular (I'm probably reaching with that statement).

This flavor profile, no matter who I get it from or what strain, the flavor holds so well. It's not that thick terpy texture you get with gassy strains, but more so similar to something like a jack herer lime flavor, where it is very clean, and persistent through the sesh.

Roll One really breaks the game in Florida.
Buds are soft, sticky, almost always over 2-2.5% terps, and a permanent non-discounted $20.

Roll One encompasses a lot of what I hoped legalization would do to weed. Not from a connoisseur perspective or anything progressive like that, just from an average consumer perspective. That's exactly what their brand motto is too.

Man...was most excited for that GMO #2, it was the only one I purchased 2 of .. would love to try something heavy in myrcene instead of the standard limonene/caryophyllene.

Trulieve loves caryophyllene, Sunburn loves Limonene.

So I was gunna take pics and write up on each of these, which I started doing, but fell off of it lol.

The Blue Nerds was similar to their other Blue strains, (I had blue zushi concentrate in the past).
Flavor didn't come through great though, but had a nice sweeter side. Effects were good.

Peel out was decent
Game time was decent effects
Choka had potential with interesting cola smells but not a ton of flavor
GMO Crasher, while not the one I wanted, actually had great effects, and decent buds in general.
Strawguava was definitely the best, and the one I would probably snag an eighth of.

I'd say overall, most of the strains fell around a 7. Nothing spectacular. All their grows have a lot of potential, they just gotta figure out how to retain flavor better.

Despite this pickup not being the best I've had, it was still definitely fun. I am not disappointed at all when I only have a gram of the flower even if it's not great, and I'm always excited to crack open the next container. Feels like I have a sleeve of pokemon cards ready to be opened

With that said, instead of 7 for $56, they are now doing 4 for $30, which is technically an even better deal per gram, but just barely.
Easier to snag variety though just grabbing 4 instead of a full quarter. I prefer smaller pickups.

This time around, I went with
Dark Rainbow - 25%, 2.58% E-Caryophyllene leading
Drunken Dragon - 17%, 3.1% with Terpinolene leading
Mai Tai - 22%, 2.6% with D-Limonene leading
Grape Gasoline - 21%, 2.05% with beta-myrcene leading

Nice mix of leading terps in this pickup.

I was doing a bit of research on b-myrcene, and Leafly says it's the #1 most common terpene for a strain to be dominant in.
"If you picked a random flower product off of a shelf in a legal state, you could expect it to be myrcene-dominant about 40% of the time".

This is surprising, as that's a pretty tough one to find here.
The vast majority of strains at Trulieve are Caryophyllene, and a huge amount at Sunburn are Caryophyllene or Limonene.

Pretty interesting to see that different dispensaries are starting to favor different terpenes. Maybe they find a few strains they're comfortable working with / cross breeding with and it keeps those same ones dominant (talkin out my ass).

In order of popularity according to leafly
Myrcene 21.15%, Caryophyllene 13.7%, Limonene 8.83%, Pinene 7.64%, Humelene 4.76%.
For "Dominant", it is Myrcene 40%, caryophyllene 30%, limonene 14%, terpinolene 11%, pinene 4$, ocimene 1%.

I will say, the first thing I noticed about vaping this grape gasoline was how "normal" of a stone it felt. Reminded me of just getting stoned back in the day without as much concern as to what I'm feeling, how good the weed is, etc.

This would make a bit more sense, especially if the stuff we got back in the day was mostly myrcene.

While this grape gasoline is the lowest terp percentage, and while it doesn't have super strong flavor, the buds are really nice looking, a nice dark purple with a yellow frost similar to something like Muv's slurricane, and it's been very pleasant.

Went back to Muv for a 4th of July sale. They were offering Buy 2 Get 1 free on their Savvy flower, so I bought 4 and got 2 free. Get home and transferring to my mason jars , 1 jar was empty……not empty in that some employee opened the jar and took the weed, empty because the jar was never filled, totally clean…

Roll One Traffic Jam Sativa at 24% thc and 2.7% Caryophyllene leading. $20
Modern Flower Chron Don Indica, 27% THC and 3.5% Limonene leading. $30

Check out that 2.5g nug from the Chron Don

Both smell great. The Traffic Jam being savory with maybe some sweet cake notes?
Chron Don is pungent and peppery with more sour.

I paid EXTRA for some premium today.

RiSE now has the FLOWERY flower which is pretty exciting!!

I got RiSE Animal Face, at like fuckin 4.27% terps .. just outrageous.
I pulled apart a nug, and literally saw a string of "glue" stretch across the air.

And Flowery (RiSE) Sherbanger #22, as the entire store recommended it.
4.18% terps.

Both are very stick to the touch and pull apart soft.
They're unfortunately both quite similar, with that very deep gassy smell.

Not disappointed by any means but I like my variety.

The Flowery was $50, but I had $15 off to make it $35.
Total was $70 for the two eighths.

The Sativa ended up being fine, nothing to be too excited about, but still a great deal.
That Chron Don Indica though was very good. Very strong, and a real deep indica.

Both are very good. I think the Animal Face has a bit of an edge.
Hopefully RiSE discounts some of the Flowery strains, would love to try more.

Went back to RiSE to snag some more Flowery flower at 30% off.
Super Pure Runtz at 2.9% terps. Limonene, Myrcene, and Linalool leading which is quite unique compared to where I usually go.

Get a savory sour from the Limonene, and I believe the Myrcene and Linalool adding in some flower/musky tones.

It's not a glue-like sticky like Animal Face, but breaking it up by hands definitely leaves the fingers sticky.
It's quite sugary.

I tried sooo many different strains from Sunburn. While I think the flower is great, something in the process loses it's flavor and freshness and doesn't translate well into vaping.

Been more than pleased with RiSE/Flowery.
I think I've only had about 2 pickups where it wasn't better than expected.

I've really been enjoying The Flowery flower from RiSE.
So far I've gotten

Sherbanger # 22
Super Pure Runtz
Obama Runtz
OG Kush

Those are all pretty much 2.5%-3.5% terps.
They have a few other Flowery strains, but they're in the 1%s.

Sherbanger has been the most pungent of the group I'd say, but they're all very smelly, and all nicely sticky.

They've all had a bit of a "sour" to them. First hit when opening the jar is a pungency, but then a long slow inhale brings out the sours. Must be the Limonene leading on the majority of these. You get some pine/musk mixed in, adding more than just a smell when you sniff.

It's been nice leaning away from caryophyllene as that peppery gassy can be so strong when it's all you had for a while.

Flavor wise, they tend to all have a balance. It's not pure gas, it's not pure sour. It's a strong pungency, with sour notes, but a lot of it is just sorta "musky". Musky can be a bad thing, but I don't think it tastes like it indicates it's not well cured/grown, it seems like this is how it should taste, but it's a nuance that maybe everyone won't find pleasant.

I think that may be the myrcene present in most of these. These are also heavy in Linalool. It's tough for me to hone in on those flavors tho as they aren't leading in many strains around us.


They've been $35 an eighth when 30% off, and $30 when 40% off.

If you want to consistently have some sticky, good quality normal weed, I think anyone would be pleased at $30 for an eighth of any of these strains.
If you value the best bang for the buck, I think Roll Ones at $20 is probably a better deal.

I've really been loving these though and am happy with the higher price with the level of consistency I've been getting.
It really is some quality weed.

Wanted to snag some concentrates but nothing was discounted.

Went over to Trulieve. Instead of going for the $35/g Roll Ones (all caryophyllene and under 5% terps), I went with Modern Flower LA Grapes Live Resin. $40.

I've found I don't particular care about Grape strains, but this had good numbers.

Limonene leading at 2.3%, and 8.8% total.

Smells good, and looks interesting. It looks not quite as wet as others that I've seen in this sort of sugary/resin form.
Smell leans strongly on the sweet side, while still keeping those pungent traits and not going full on sweet/citrusy.

Texture is very soft and fluffy. Barely feel anything cutting into it.

The pungent/gassy notes seem to come out more in the actual flavor.
Not holding flavor as well as the Sunburn Rosin I like, but still decent.

Unfortunately, when discounted, Sunburn rosin can be even cheaper than this.

For a quick walk in walk out, not shabby though and not disappointed.

Looks like RiSE is having a 4 for $69 deal on their Good Green, which is basically their budget line.

Don't need anything right now, but looking through what they have, there's some pretty high numbers in there that could be worth snagging. Plenty of stuff 2.5%-3.5%, and even up to 4%.

I haven't had much luck with Good Green in the past.

They're also doing 2 for $40 if you don't need all 4.

Sunburn had a "buy anything thc, get a free Eighth of Bills' Reserve" (their "top tier" line).
Figured I'd snag some MTN Trop for $40 as that was on sale, and get that eighth along with it.

The MTN Trop, as I've had in the past, smells absolutely fantastic. Like Lemon and Skittles.
At only 5% terps, I was hesitant, and almost went with something else.

I'm so glad I didn't, it is an explosion of flavor that comes through so cleanly.
Reheat after reheat, the flavor is still there. Just like the last time I purchased it.

The Bill's Reserve Black Maple #22 is some good looking buds, the appearance does seem to stand out from their typical stuff. Large bright green sticky buds with orange hairs. Smells spicy and peppery with some garlic. Think GMO.

The descriptors on the website are "Maple, Sweet, Savory". I could see how you can interpret that garlic smell with almost a maple smell, but that seems like a reach to me. The best way to put it is savory/peppery with a twist. There's just somethin else coming through.

2.48% terps, Limonene leading at .68%, followed by Caryophyllene at .5%. Surprised the latter isn't the leader here. Followed by pinene and linalool on the lower end. I'm not getting much sour from the limonene.

For $60/eighth, pass.
It was free though, so big win

Was just checking the site out and Sunburn has my favorite disposable live rosin vapes on sale for $20 .5g - I've had at least 8 of them and they've all been good to the last drop. I like that the specs for each cart are immediately downloadable. The Strawguava was 78% THC and 9.61% Terps. I love it when a cart hits me like the plant itself but they aren't easy on the stealth due to smelling like the plant. Started out at $30 per cart and went to $25 and now $20.

They also posted a sale on the live rosin gummies for $10 a pack but I checked several locations and keep coming up empty. They're one of the few chews that I don't get heartburn with.

Completely out of flower so had to settle on whatever good deal I could find.
Didn't want Trulieve, didn't want to go down to Sunburn until I can get some $40 concentrate from them, and RiSE had no premium discounted.

RiSE however did have Jack Herer popcorn for $19. 3.6% terps.
Don't usually go for popcorn, I tried their smalls once and was a bit disappointed.

Slightly mentioned this to the guy and he confidently said other's have enjoyed it.

Buds are small but look good, real soft, and the smell is very strong on that classic Herer Limey-Sprite smell.
The terpinolene in this strain translates to that more sour lime, instead of that smooth creamsicle orange, like in some of their other strains.

Based on the look and smell I hoped for more flavor. It's there, but dies off before the bud browns.
Effects are solid.

All around good for the price.

May be cautious expanding too far. Jack herer seems like a tough one to mess up given every dispensary does it the same. Not sure if other strains would follow suit.

Sunburns best concentrate deal is when they are $40, or 2 for $80.

More often, they do 40% off. This brings their higher tier concentrates to about $45-$51. Not as good as their $40 deal.

But .. it brings their lower tier concentrates to $39.

Reminder, their tiers are based on stock, and not quality.

Cherry trop is one of those, and snagged it for $39.

MTN Trop is one of the most flavorful concentrates I’ve had.

Cherry Trop, I’m happy to report, is nearly just as good. It clearly has the same traits from mtn trop, but with its own twist. It’s more of a savory sweet, instead of straight sweet. It probably appeals to a bigger majority.

The flavor comes through clean with a lot of clarity.

Highly recommended if u want to pay for something a bit higher end and not feel disappointed.

Appearance wise, it’s not that perfect ball that sunburn concentrates usually come in. It’s a bit more spread out in the container, and appears dryer and crumblier, but the texture is still the same. It does not break down and it holds its form. Maybe over time left out it’ll crumble, but don’t think so. It doesn’t affect the usage whatsoever.

Went over to RiSE to snag some Animal Face as it was finally discounted, and my gf has been requesting it every night before bed like a cat needing catnip.

I noticed they had something called Soul Mate, was over 4% terps, and had some great terpenes like Myrcene and Linalool.

It's got a pungent smell, not on the sweeter side, leans towards pepper. If you inhale fast, you get sort of that dried soily pine, but the slow inhale lets those other flavors breathe a lot better.

Flavor comes through pretty strong. It doesn't hold as well as some of their other strains, but doesn't die off in a poor way.
Flavor is on that pungent side, but with some pine and musk.

All in all just some solid RiSE flower.

Oh ya, their premium buds (the category I always get from them), now comes in these short, wider glass jars. Lot better to hold and have around compared to the plastic tall ones.

Me too....but...I bought 4 eighths, 1 was light by .2 and 1 was light by 1.2 grams....that is too much...

Went to Muv last month and received an empty eighth jar, it wasn't stolen by an employee, as it was totally clean inside..unused...
