My flite #004 does not work. It will not start heating. I have tried 2 different chargers and 2 sets of batteries. I haven’t used it in about 1 year.
I even tried multiple caps and it will not heat.
Any ideas?

Have you visually checked if anything looked weird ? Any smell ? Do the led still work ? Even though I know it won’t help much. And @mr_cfromcali doesn’t seem to be around anymore :( maybe try to DM him ?

Stupid question maybe, but would you have set in on ‘off’ ? There is a ‘on/off’ switch that maybe got moved a little ? (No offense, just trying to help :) you could try and set the switch on pwm mode to see if it works like that ?

I tried it set to on and pwm. Doesn’t work either way

Is the switch (the one on which you press on with the cap) a Cap As Switch ? If so, could the metal parts that act as the switch be rusted or something like that ?

Hey guys, I came across rare listing for a fluxer flite and hearing what I’ve heard about this induction heater. I didn’t hesitate and just bought it because I don’t think I’ll be able to find a smaller more portable ih than the flite. It works great and it’s really well built but since I’m not handy with tools or electronics I’m scared that if something did come up, I wouldn’t be able to repair it or send it in for repairs (since these are no longer in production). I guess I just wanted your guys opinion on if should sell it and opt for something more mass produced like the wand or yll. Those still seem decently portable and I hear mostly good things about it. If anyone has any input on these induction heaters, I’d really appreciate it!
