Hey again guys

My Vapormax v5.0s just arrived and I've run it dry about 4 times now, but there is still a fairly strong smell of rubber, maybe even burning rubber. Any suggestions to help, or do I just have to give it time?

Shine a light in the storage compartment in the bottom. This part is just on the other side of the oven and so it probably gets hot. Mine was pretty grimy down there. If so, it shouldn't be too hard to clean it out some. Mine smelled a bit when it was new, but after a week or so (even without the cleaning I described) it doesn't smell at all.

Rubber smell? Mine smelled slightly of machine oil initially. Strange. it's a daily flyer now.

Hey guys ! My gf's flowermate is still running strong , she vaped a lot of hash in it.. so the bottom screen was super clogged an the airflow was almost non existent.. I removed the bottom screen and added a regular one (cut out) did the same with the mouthpiece screen and things got mega improved... It works better as if it was new... She dropped it numerous times and used it 5-6-7 times both weed and hashes.Battery performance has dropped from 12 to 10 sessions..on a full charge

I personally would. I like my ABV very dark and I tend not to make edibles with it so I use the red setting frequently. If you enjoy the blue setting then no I would not advise the upgrade. All you would be getting is a shorter battery life.

No the fixed temp is between purple and red on the 5S, and the 5S on blue lasts longer than the 5.

There is definitely an advantage in getting the 5S over the fixed temp: you get access to lower temps.

Be careful with canned air. It contains bitterants that can be left behind and if that happens, your vapourizer will taste worse, not better.

To help discourage inhalant abuse. So it's canned stinky air.

I've detected no unpleasant taste or smell from 2 FM units. YMMV.

I have both the 5.0 and the 5.0s. I can't say I strongly prefer one or the other. I really don't care for the short timer on the 5.0s and I thought the mouthpiece is disappointing because I thought it would be able to pair with my F-Bomb water tool and it could not. The pieces that @Ed's TnT made for me really bring out the flavor and keep the vapor nice, cool, and tasty!

Yeah, it's especially frustrating when using in bright daylight, since it can be hard to see the light, let alone the color. I like having more than one temp, but the auto off timer should be 10 min. IMO.

This IS a Flowermate. Are you talking about a different model?

The V5 with the 3 temps as it is unreleased over here in Uk/ Bloody place is years behind you lot and you pay in sterlin what you guys pay in dollars which is ri GODAM diculous. Any help would be most most welcome. Remember cheaper is not always better so reputable dealers are essential. Is the massdrop deal worth it? I'm needin a new portable as I have fallen out with my solo after a period without my Nano forcd solo into everyday use. Thanks again in adavance!

Arigato_books is a seller that some users have had success with on here. They just recently cut the price on the 5.0S, and as far as I know don't have any restrictions on countries that they ship to

You're talking about the screen at the bottom of the ceramic oven, right? How'd you get that out??

So far, although I need to clean the mouthpiece screen every time, the bottom screen in mine is clean as a whistle after two weeks of use (but then I haven't tried putting hash in it). Might be nice to know about how to remove it in case mine gets gunked up.

Essex vapours on ebay got mine £65 all in off him he did have spare mouthpieces as well.

The screen has flat sides so you can get a pick between it and the side of the chamber, and get it loose. You don't have to take the vape apart.
