Looks good! Just a couple of questions... Is the air intake that little hole on the side and does that make the draw more restricted than the original Firewood? Also, since there's no longer any need for a funnel on the mouthpiece holder, is the magnet in the holder more toward the center and is it a stronger neodymium magnet?

I find this device very interesting. I was thinking about picking one up. I read the thread and wanted to know if the browning by the heater seems to be an issue. Now that v2 is on the way I may have to hold out......Keep up the good work!

Yes, the air intake is the little hole, but that turns out to be plenty big enough. Think about a one hitter bat where there is a hole that small for a long distance.

I added an extra magnet where the hole was, so there are now 2 magnets and they are neodymium.

This done with a steel filter, heat very fast and does not waste a lot of battery.
It is easy to load and unload.

When loading your unit. Does anyone pack it? I found out by accident that if you pack the chamber you can get twice amour of hauls but it a bitch to clean. You will have to uses a poker to take out the abv.

Reset issue? I don't recall that from the thread. Also, the browning of the wood by the heater.

Maybe reset is the wrong word... I remember a few that blew a fusible link from overheating where they had to be sent back for service. Just wondering how that went.

Ahhhh. Ok. Yes I did read that.

I had that thermal fuse problem. Repair service was quick and easy. Good news is that the new model doesn't have a thermal fuse, so there will be nothing to worry about there.

Nice i had a local glassblower fuse a stem onto a 14.4 male gog fitting and it hits wonderfully through my pinnacle tube.

fits in about an inch and locks up
longer vapor path so its a bit cooler
nice flavor from the wood.
