Firewood Vaporizer

I just got myself a pristine second hand fw5. I can't wait to give it a go later. It looks amazing.
I am a bit fearful of breaking the glass tube when out and about. Is there a European stockist of spares?
No you have to order it from firewood. Maybe wait a bit to see what is your usage and if you need some other spares to group it. I bought a spare glass tube but I use a little pouche for transportation and I don't feel it can break in my pocket between hits. I worry more to scratch the wood if I have keys or change in my pocket. I feel that to break the glass you have to make it fall right on it on some concrete or something or maybe be clumsy while cleaning it or trying to put it back with to much force and awkward angle.

Edit : and I proudly introduce the perfect little cheapo pouch that can go in the perfect cheapo hardcase. I had both in old E-cig stuff. They can be easily found for almost nothing on Chinese sites.

And here is my nonavong whip/mouthpiece :

Fired up the ole FW3 for old times sake, I still love the look and feel of it, it still really kicks ass. I like the tray on the FW5 better than I thought I would, but I think I prefer the old capsule system. I'm a fan of the line.

I'm with you. I prefer the capsules. I reach for the FW3 and FW4 more often than the FW5.

After lots of research, I am getting closer to pulling the trigger on this bad boy, can anybody convince me to take the plunge? or is there any other wood on demand vapes I should be considering, the only other one that interests me is the Lil Bud Elite, I'm not really interested in the LB classic cuz its unregulated. The FW5 seems perfect for me cuz i am looking for a microdosing portable vape that i can count on to medicate with little to no fuss, I think the tray system is awesome instead of having to empty a single bowl every time you want to add more.

In my opinion, no other portable vapes (I've tried) provide the flavor that the FW series provides. You really get to taste the flower, and perhaps a bit longer than many other vapes. The FW5 is my least favorite between the FW3, FW4 and FW5 but it is growing on me. I almost never fill more than one pocket in the tray but I can see that this would be very useful for taking your vape out and about.

It's extremely portable and light, heats up very quickly, kills a load quickly and has a removable battery. What's not to like?

Because my wife is not 420 friendly, the FW3/4/5 have become my daily means of a quick insomnia dose before bed. There are other vapes that I would like to have in the rotation more often (MV1 and Apollo), but their bulk and relatively slower heat up times relegate them to more relaxing opportunities.

I'm a big fan of the FW5. I like it's smaller size and is the best pocketable vape that I have. Although there are no electronic readouts and each power setting is a range, I think its more than sufficient to control your experience. The flavor is also outstanding and I find that I can get rather large hits on this with a little practice.

I haven't tried the LB Elite but that's probably a tough comparison to make. Although they share some similarities, they are also very different devices on paper. There are certainly other on demand wooden portable vapes but whether this one makes more sense for you will to a large degree, be dependent on your usage pattern/preferences.

For me, this is the one that I like to take out of the house. Around the house, it does not get as much use but obviously YMMV.

I've been eying a FW4 (used) due to how much I like my FW5. Could you give a little more info on why you currently prefer it over the FW5? TIA.

The taste may be just a bit better with the FW4. I prefer the capsules to the tray. The tray seems more finicky to me but that is getting better as it continues to wear. I feel less concerned about breaking the mouthpiece on the FW4 than the FW5 when putting it back together after cleaning. With the FW4, you don't have to push the button to activate the heater (but, on the other hand, you do have to turn it on and off).

They are equally pocketable. If you aren't looking to rapidly have multiple sessions in series, the FW4 is a great choice. If you want rapid multiple sessions, I'd go with the FW5.

I was just getting ready to make a Firewood purchase after looking at the website the last few weeks and now i see they're all out of stock. Damn! How long does Marc usually take to restock?

Bad news...(or good). Marc is working on the FW6. It will be a while. You might need to look for a used FW.

That happened all at once. I just checked the website but a week or so ago, and only the most expensive wood was out of stock. He's been out stock of extra trays for while though.

Good for Marc. Maybe a group order after exams/ sports finals or something ? there is always the used solution and the 6 looks promising to.

Yeah it was def shocking to see even the African Mahagoney had been sold. I suspect he may have just temporary closed up shop while he dives into further stages of completion for the FW6, who knows? On the bright side I was able to scoop up a used FW5 with a few scratches and nicks on Reddit Ent exchange for a reasonable price. Hoping this unit becomes my daily driver portable.

I think you'll be very pleased. Good luck. The beauty of a wooden device is that you can address a few scratches.

The website now says the FW6 will be released into the wild this summer! Wow I was thinking it was gonna be late fall 2019, it's gonna be exciting to see what's changed or been updated from the FW5. I am excited to hear any more info about the FW6 or see a sample picture or something.
