Found cleaning easiest by just placing ceramic pieces in cup of water in microwave. A minute of bowling that one piece, followed by some iso-salt mixture with other little pieces, shaken, and this this thing is clean like new quickly.

Pop the stainless screens out and shake in iso-salt and they're very clean. Better result than torching the screens.

Rinse everything well with water. That way only water steams out if u dont dry well before using...

Total time is about five minutes once u know how to take apart and put back together ...

Like this enough to buy a second unit and sell my firefly 2's...

For some reason the vibration motor doesn't always buzz when I press the button to let me know it's ready. (but it does heat up) In fact this happens more than not. Is anyone else having this issue? It also happens or I should say doesn't happen when I'm trying to check heat level or battery level. I'll give the correct amount of clicks whether it be 1 or 5 and it will not vibrate to let me know what what I'm trying to find out. Am I alone here? I should add this doesn't always happen and it's nothing that will keep me from using this god sent vape of Marc's

I would not hesitate to email Marc regarding this issue. He has stellar customer service.

If you release the button mid draw then start again within a few seconds it won't do a vib because it isn't starting up again. Also if you do anything else with the button, like check battery, set temp, etc., there is a few seconds timeout before it will register the next button press.

That could well be what i am experiancing. Time will tell...

I get it won't vibrate again if you press it twice in the same draw but this is nothing like that or even after button presses to check temp, battery, or heat level it mostly happens after I've been using it for awhile 4 or 5 bowls. Besides it not vibrating after the initial button press to let me know it's ready every once in awhile it also won't vibrate after the button is released but the vape performs phenomenally just only vibrates when it feels like it I hate to complain because I don't think I would ever send it back to be fixed because I love it so much even though it's having this issue.

I know that feeling of too good to even send back and get repaired for a minor issue.

My fw5 broke :( full battery and can't get any vibration even when the heater engages. The only vibrate I get is when the heat is done engaging :(. Haven't used it a lot at all :(

This got here a day earlier than I expected. Can't wait to take it out of the box.

The new wood types look sick :). Wish I would've waited. Sending my walnut in to be repaired. I plug in the battery and it's engaging the heater without pressing anything and it won't turn it off either. Weird. So back she goes

As I was trying to determine which one of my portables to use,I saw the sweet firewood box there  pull it out of the box , load five chambers put the battery in cranked it up and took too slow long pulls and all is good with the world.

The glass piece broke in my pocket. Predictable. Design should allow the mouthpiece to retract sufficiently.

BUT where it broke is right in the middle of silicone sleeve. So it actually improved the flexibility of the mouthpiece. And it doesnt leak air....

Basically first time I broke a vape and improved it... lol!

I have had a couple weeks of every day use with these 30 amp continuous (labelled) batteries:

https://www.orbtronic.com/30a-18650-3120mah-battery-high-drain-rechargeable-flat-top

They work very well. They show 4.2 volts when full on charger. Until the voltage drops below 3.7-3.8 (as read on charger) they give great clouds. The unit seems vibrate one or two times as it drops below this voltage level. Before that I'll get 4 or 5 full trays on high heat with these batteries. Once the unit only vibrates once its definitely better to switch out the battery.

The average amount they get charged is about 1,500 to 1,800 mah between switching them out per the charger meter.

I think the batteries do drain slowly while installed but not 100% sure on that.

All and all I seem to get about 50 draws at high heat per charge with these batteries.

If I start on low heat on each chamber and ramp up to high heat on each chamber I think it's about the same. Pretty good for me. Two batteries is all I need for a lot use in a night with one other person.

I'm trying the Samsung and lg batteries next. These batteries report less continuous amp capability but maybe have longer battery life.

Hi, does anyone know if the FW5’s ceramics are vitrified? I didn’t see it mentioned anywhere and read that non vitrified ceramics can be harmful to your lungs if heated to 400 degrees F.

Well I do not like the sounds of this. Will be interesting to see the answer, if we can get one.
