Its been a bit quiet round these parts, then I see this.

ohh goody

@Deadhead101 I wouldnt take that shit man. fluff-face just basically called you a liar.

@fluffhead did you see what deadshit wrote? what is he the freaking lyric police?
I reckon he is just baiting you man, trying to start some shit. I wouldnt take that crap.
I suggest you talk some smack back at him. that'll fix him.

Now discuss. :popcorn::popcorn::popcorn:

my work here is done.

EDIT- as pointed out below- whatever quote is currently in my siggy.
Lol, dork, if you're trying to start a fight I think you'd be better off not going after two deadheads. You might be better off going after the surly folks in the Fuck You thread. In fact, I'm pro lyric police and "getting it right" in general. And I wasn't calling anyone a liar, I was just trying to point out that snake wasn't completely wrong in that part being a "quote" from that song in some occurrences. On the rest I totally agree with @Deadhead101.

To stay on topic I'll add another quote:
"Some folks trust to reason
Others trust to might
I don't trust to nothing
But I know it come out right"

"If you don't change your path, you may end up where you were going." Heard that once years ago and always stuck with me. I am one of those borderline control freaks who doesn't like change so I have to make a conscious effort not end up stagnant and stick where I don't want to be.

My apologies for the poor attempt at humor, and to create some sort of gladiatorial type environment to stem the boredom that not drinking anymore brings.

when I was bored as a kid, I would go to the beach and get some crabs & build an arena similar to a mini Colosseum, then poke the crabs with a stick.
The ensuing crab bloodbath cured my boredom for ages.

Im pretty bored ATM

FC is the arena, and well.................

I guess you guys are not crabs. damn.

I was hoping for some Jerry Springer type antics.
There are some redback spiders out the front, maybe I can get them to fight?

anyhoo, hows my godson doing?
whats his name again?

ahh yes, little shutthefuckup fluffhead. He is still breastfeeding I trust? I expect that to be the case until he at least 12?

Thats how we did it in my family and you dont see anything wrong with me do you?
That reminds me, Hows Mrs Fluffhead?
Lemme know if little shuttuppyfucky is having trouble breastfeeding and I will pop round and give him a demo.

No need to thank me, I know duty when I see it.
Oh wait or is that booty? or doody?................
Fuck! Im not sure, anyway you get the picture.

"Some folks look for answers
Others look for fights
Some folks up in treetops
Just look to see the sights"

Written by Robert Hunter, sang by Bob Weir of the Grateful Dead.

That was the gist of it, tho

Yeah I was going from memory. In true dead fashion, they subbed out the last line for the 'kites' version at a show I saw. If we gave rh credit for everything the dead sang, there wouldn't be much left to attribute to them - he was pretty prolific. It makes sense my quote was off if weir sings it, you only get every 3rd word and lots of spit at times from him. I saw rh and ray manzarek do a trippy duo show once as well - carnivalesque to say the least

Oh, SNAP! @dorkus_molorkus I think @Vicki just called you an old fuck. :myday:

Here's a good quote for you, Dork.

The average American may not know who his grandfather was. But the American was, however, one degree better off than the average Austrailian who, as a rule, was in considerable doubt as to who his father was. - Mark Twain

Here's another from Mr. Clemens that you should take to heart.

Total abstinence is so excellent a thing that it cannot be carried to too great an extent. In my passion for it I even carry it so far as to totally abstain from total abstinence itself. - Mark Twain

God your are more retarded than @Stu . oh wait....................

and I will have you know, I did know who my dad was, he was some bloke named stu................

damn....... no wonder Im retarded.

Next time you are blowing Mr Clemens try to abstain from tickling Mark Twains balls. Hows that for abstinence?

@Vicki did not call me an old fuck. she was implying that no amount of age will render me with any maturity.

Good call by her.

EDIT- as per the mod squad below.
'man with dick on head, cannot see for nuts' - me with a chinese, somewhat confucian accent.

Modnote: I don't see a quote in this post. 50 warning points fired randomly into the crowd.

This threads a shitshow and i love it. I wanna throw one more quote in..

People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that’s bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they’re afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they’re wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It’s all in how you carry it. That’s what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you’re letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.

I am so happy that i discovered jim morrison..

"You're not friends. You'll never be friends. You'll be in love til it kills you both. You'll fight, and you'll shag and you'll hate each other til it makes you quiver, but you'll never be friends. Love isn't brains, children, it's blood. Blood screaming inside you to work its will. I may be love's bitch, but at least I'm man enough to admit it." Spike

very beautiful quote that emphasizes why jesus, moses, mohammed etc all showed intense love for all human beings who led a good life regardless of faith. it is a Sikh proverb but I will translate it. its basic theme is the unity of the soul and god. beyond labels religious or class based. religious pluralism was never added to Sikhism to adapt to the changing times. it was a core pillar of its genesis as the below quote signifies

"we are all like drops of water. from the primal timeless ocean do we emanate. through different rivers, streams, creeks we find our way back to our primal home. so why should one care which river or stream delivered us there? once we return back to that primal ocean along with every other drop that has found its dignity in its eternal home, what does it matter which labels we had before we ended up there. in the end just as one drop of water can never be separated once it immerses in the water, you and all others who make it back to their eternal home will be indistinguishable from each other. the river or creeks dry up, new ones form, over and over. yet the function of them is one and the same."
