I and some friends do aggree that there is an aftertaste of "Nano Nuggs Afghan Kush by Swiss Botanic", especially if smoked instead of vaped. The unpleasant aftertaste sticks in your mouth for quite a while. It is not a horrible taste, but it does not feel right. I wonder where is it coming from? The aftertaste could be expected if the product was wet or mouldy, but the appearance of the bud is spottless and the humidity seems just right.
On the worst scenario it could be fertilizer or phytosanitary products... but it's really hard to tell maybe it's just added terps ?
Are you able to describe the aftertaste ?

I have some very good bud that let an aftertaste that is really pleasant and not weird at all. Very close to the smell of the flower.

well I bought 3g of purple shao to give it a try because I don't like to trash talk without first hand experience

I ordered the 21st of June, got an email the 26th saying my order was "done", received it in my mailbox the 06th of July (not sure why it took so long).

the flower was well packaged behind multiple bags of plastic

after unpacking the buds I realized they were completely flat, as if something heavy had been put on them for a while (happened to me a lot with black market stuff) also it feels still a bit moist and the trimming job is average. it smells good.

after trying a bowl, well... to me the taste isn't like the smell at all, as usual with CBD flowers unfortunately, to me the taste was the exact same as 90% of other CBD flowers I've tried, which I don't like at all and leaves that weird almost artificial after taste but maybe it is the 0.2/0.3% variety that all taste the same I don't know, very weird that they have different smell but they all taste the same, anyway not great. I also think their prices are a bit ridiculous considering they are doing outdoor growing and honestly I was expecting higher quality product but maybe CBD flower as simply not for me.

@Suki sorry to hear your experience...

Yeah purple shao wasn't the more tasty to me. While really close, SBBK was better but it actually is the blue shao that i like the most. The taste is very close to the smell and very fruity.

I've tried a few CBD strains from different sources and while I can't find anything as good as the real stuff I wouldn't say that everything taste the same.

As for the flat bud it might have happened during shipping ? I had one part of my order from Izno lightly flattened but most of it was in good shape. And I don't think they're overly expensive considering the quality of the product. Their growing method has a lower yield but is cleaner and less energy-intensive than indoor stuff.

All in all I do agree that it's far from the best cannabis I've had, but it is some of the best CBD flower for sure. (My 2 years old, bone dry, outdoor stash still tastes and smells more distinctly, but it is truly exceptional flower).

I'm sorry to hear that, did you only try Purple Shao?

You probably should have waited until the Blue Shao was available again, because to be honest, the Purple Shao wasn't as tasty as this one in my opinion. It is difficult to give a constructive and viable opinion after having tasted only one variety, that's why I personally bought 6 x 3g of several varieties and as I specified in several messages, my favorites were the Blue Shao and the Hashcream (and another variety whose name I don't know (received as a gift)). For me Blue Shao dominates them all.

When I received the package, I also started by tasting the Purple Shao, and I felt a bit the same as you, I was a little disappointed at first (even if it was overall much better than anything I've tasted so far in terms of CBD, nothing to do with the artificial CBD retailers). The revelation was the discovery of Blue Shao with my CouchLog, where I really began to appreciate the izno herb (to tell you the truth, I didn't know that natural hemp could be as terpenic as that).

On the other hand, I was disappointed by the CBG varieties, which I never found to be very tasty (although surprisingly relaxing and visually beautiful).

But I agree with you on the price, where I find it a bit expensive (especially when you buy 10G or more). I hope the next harvest of Blue Shao will always be as tasty as the one I had recently
