Hey Guys, hoping someone can help!
Recently noticed that my Errlectric heater head has quite a bit more draw restriction than before, some of my recyclers aren't working as the restriction is so bad.
I have the upgraded model that self cleans but still experiencing problems.
If anyone knows or has experienced this please let me know how as want to get it back to normal!

Yes. Are you using the standard Ti nail? I have found the center hole did get some obstruction after much usage. My solution was came to me when I happened to look down the hole. I used the Vortex cap dabber end to ream out the hole and flow was restored. I did it with the nail screaming hot and a bit of twisting to help push it through.

Not as bad as first thought ....
Now have a bit more airflow and all working well (better) again, not 100% but it will do. Spent an hour with a needle picking from the top and bottom, still restriction and hopefully an iso soak will finish this off nicely.
450f is just heaven and im back where I need to be

I'd ask someone from Errlectric if it's ok to submerge the coil and nail in ISO.
The HerbNail has a pretty deep dish, are u using massive dabs? Also you're saying that it's become more restrictive since you've had it?
After you get it sorted, use smaller dabs lol.

yeah man, since going low temp the dab sizes have increased dramatically!
Its working much better now but yes the other night I could barely use water pieces with it. I kept kidding myself that it was fine but then girlfriend hit it and confirmed it wasn't anywhere near as free flowing as usual.
Hopefully one of the guys at Errlectric will be able to advise as would like to do my best to maintain its performance levels!
Can anyone please advise if the Quartz nail is worth upgrading to? Finding it hard to justify the spend when I am already loving my setup but cant stop thinking about it tbh.

@DieHard just got myself an Eric Ross Fourtex! It is by far my favourite pairing with the Errlectric, did you get the matching drop down too?

I did not get the drop down... Yet. It's next on the list. I just ordered a SECOND box to go with the 3 different nails I already have. Plus the new caddy, and Slo-flo cap. So stoked!

My SloFlo came in the other day. I was so excited I drove 600 miles round trip to get it and bring to my hotel. I'll be getting some yummy trates today and I'll be testing the shit out of it. Caddy is also incoming.
@DieHard you know when I was selling my original I really like having two boxes at once. One running the HerbNail and the other for my FQN. May look into that myself.
What did the fourtex run you guys? If you don't mind me asking. Feel free to pm me if you don't want to post it in the thread. I just want and idea of how bad it's gonna hurt lol.

With the drop down $800. Seen them for around $720 without dropdown though.
Imo worth every penny.

My errlectric was shipped today, super excited to try this out. Before i had some cheap $150 enail i bought off masadrop that broke within a month. Looking forward to using a quality device. Any tips would be appreciated, I've never used a cap before and never done low temp dabs, what are some temps I'm aiming for? Thanks for any info, got the Ti nail
It can depend on the oil you are using. Right now I'm using the Ti nail w/ Quartz insert and vortex cap. Temp is set at 700F. They recommend to add 100F for the insert. So 560-650F for me. For low temp carb capping.

I have tried pretty much all temps and settled on 500f. You can get insanely ripped on the tiniest dab with the vortex cap! I also prefer the longer hit, as it takes me back to my bong days....
Also, the tip about spinning q tips around in the bowl to clean after use is genius. I can't remember who posted it, but I now use them every day and my nail is always sparkling clean.

Ordered from Cannoiseur , excited, errlectric bundle 1.....open box, controller only.... Nothing else, not even a plug to plug the damn thing in.
Well, when i recieved my tracking # they only sent one, i guess I'm expected two packages, why my mailman didn't deliver it at the same time, idk...so i wait and hope she is coming back around and was lasy carring an extra nox. Cannoiseur got right back to me with the second tracking #
Bummed, not sure why, but even though it was sorted in the correct zip, and out for delivery in the correct zip, it was sent back to the post office as undeliverable address, even though I received one package. I suspect my mail bitch was lazy and didn't want to deliever it. Why not send everything in one box? Who knows. The controller looks nice![:\](/i/s/hmm.gif "Hmm :\")

Honestly, I think I just started dabbing and experimenting with temperatures. Are you using the Ti nail? You can get it up to 700 and drop some reclaim on there for seasoning.

Don't be embarrassed! I remember having to look up dabbing on YouTube to figure what I was missing.
Set your temperature at 600. When it gets to temp, drop in a dab while gently inhaling and quickly place the cap on the nail. Once the cap is seated the vapor will bloom, rip away, enjoy!

My SloFlo Cap for my FQN came in the other day and it's been one amazing low temp dab after another! I've settled on 630 for my FQN. The dab just melts and when I put the on the cap, BAM thick white clouds.
The design is unlike anything I've seen out there. The glass air tube/dabber is such a clever design. There is stopper on the glass so the Ti doesn't go to far down. Above it is a silicone o-ring to set your depth. I have mine set to where I can touch the bottom of the FQN dish up front but as I move it back to seal the nail it raises from the bottom. Also I keep the slit for the air path facing away from the nails intake hole so the air circulates around the FQN better.
I do have a couple things I'd like to see improved but I wouldn't trade this cap for any other as is right now.

- One thing I noticed was after using it a few times in a row that the silicone o-ring started to move a bit. I'd like to see something a bit more secure above the Ti.
- Also you always need to be holding the cap on the FQN, call me lazy lol but I'd like to see a hands free design.
- Lastly I've notice concentrates running up the dabber like most others. On this though it runs inside the air hole and pools in the tip. I'd like to see be solid under the air hole to prevent your trates pooling.

How does the restriction feel on the draw when using the sloflo cap? i'm using a teaspoon at the minute with my fqn, basic but does the job. Also did you work up too 630f with no throat issues i'm @600 and my throat gets a bit raspy at that temp. Do you have much residue left over at those temps?
