Agreed, I can’t say enough about how much I love mine. Has basically replaced all desktop vapes for me.I’ve been spending quite a bit of time with the WS lately, it’s just a pleasure to use. I’ve been primarily using a VC of one kind or another, my favourite is my phattpiggie twist with a black glass condenser, it’s about a tip’s length longer than an XL and no carb of course. That combination is magical with a WS! Also been using a gong with a variety of j-hooks; I’ll bump up the VVPS a .1-.2 and then heavy clouds appear.
Anybody else in awe of their WoodScents like I am? It’s all so crisp, the edge on mine is So Freakin’ Sharp! Sometimes running my thumb along the top, it feels like I’ve been cut. Everything about it is precise. Which is especially impressive with mine, considering it’s got a live edge w/ 2 voids on one side, and looking at the bottom, you can see that it’s not even a perfect circle. Ed absolutely willed this crazy-ass blank into a WS.
I just love it because I’m not perfect either, so there was an instant bond. I’m going to get busy next year and make a Black Walnut stand customised for its wonky shape. Gotta say it once more, I’m so happy that I was finally able to get this thing. Whether you’re buying something in stock or something special, you’ll be getting a unique piece. No two are the same. A museum quality piece of woodwork that leaves me like:
!
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays, wherever you may be!
Hey all,
Finally registered after lurking these forums for months. Stopped smoking years ago due to anxiety when high but recently came across CBD flower and like it. Looking to get a desktop vape and have been doing hours of research. I finally arrowed it down to log vapes (i.e., WoodScents, E-Nano, Underdog). After hours of more research...came to the conclusion that I would want to get the WoodScents.
Long shot to ask but figured I would try. Just wondering if there is going to be any more modifications or accessories added to the WoodScents? The reason I ask is because I am more than willing to wait months to get the latest and greatest. Actually highly debating to see if VapCap will release something new this year, just to get the latest tip and cap with WoodScents purchase.
Really happy to see that the glass piece was added free of charge! Truly shows your commitment to your product, especially with life/kids etc. Of course, would never expect that there would never be a price change but just another voice appreciating your support to the community.
To second what @sixstringsmash said, I would go ahead and grab one. Any new DynaVap product will likely be compatible (they have worked hard to keep the tips backwards compatible), and you are getting a log vape, DynaVap stem, glass piece, water pipe adapter, and aroma tray, and probably even more that I’m forgetting at the moment, all in one. If I could only buy one vape thing, it would be this package. It just has everything you need.Hey all,

I dont own a WS but I do know it comes with everything you could possibly need for vaping. Ed provides the complete package all in one. I will own one someday. Go for it, you wont be disappointed.Hey all,

I wouldn't wait that long to get one, log technology has remained pretty much the same for the past twenty or so years or however long these things have been out for and I don't see it changing much in the foreseeable future either. Wouldn't really worry too much about waiting for a new vapcap tip or anything either, I've got tips from pretty much the first gen caps to the most recent ones and my unrefined palette can barely tell the difference between any of them. If anything I like the older generation ones because it's easier to put the screens in
Either way you'll totally love it once you get it!

The first best choice I have made in years concerning my cannabis use was to get my first vaporizer. I say that not because it was the best vaporizer I could have owned (but my MFLB will always be in my cabinet, and always have a special place in my collection and my vaporizer use rotation), but because it was my first move toward vaporizing my cannabis and overall fucking combustion.
The second best choice I've made so far concerning my cannabis use, and my vaporizing hobby (as a fun "hobby" is what it's also become for me with all the vape tech available these days, lol), was to get my Woodscents log.
'Nuff said.
I see the WoodScents made it into your top four over your Underdogs. Not trying to derail the thread of comparisons but just wondering if there is anything that really stands out with the WS over the Underdog for you?
I see you have quite a number of vapes, anything in particular that the WS does for you over the others? Forgot to mention in my original post that I have a Fury 2. Really enjoy the fast heat up time but think VAS got me . I think a desktop + VavCap would complete my setup for anything I would ever need.
Did you dislike the vapcap component or just the whole log? I think liking the vapcap is an integral part of this.Sad to report that I'm finally out of the log club again. I never really had a great chance to come in here and have good discussion about this vape. After reading all of the great post about the amazing quality I was really expecting to enjoy it much more than I was able to. I'm still almost convinced my unit is broken from all of these post praising it, but Ed said it was perfect. Guess I can't be too upset since I have other vapes to fall back on, but I was really hoping to scratch a microdose itch here. I hope my ashwood ws is appreciated in it's new home.

I loved the vapcap compatibility. I ended up using it as a vapcap for the most part. It was the best way for me to fully extract my material with the WS. Unless I was running at the max dial temp I didn't get great/any performance even though most people report great results on 7 or 8. If I was using my log it was at somewhere between 12-13 on the vvps through water because it would be a bit hot to just sip on. Any lower than 12v and my material didn't seem to cook at all, and this is a huge flavor sacrifice that also turns into one hit bowls. No hate towards Ed he really worked with me as I even sent the unit back for review. Maybe just not my kind of vape? I fully enjoy my Flowerpot SH, Mighty, SB Jr/hydrobrick, arizer EQ, and dynavaps. But I could only use the log in that one method no matter how much I used it. I handed it off to a buddy who also enjoys vaping, so I'm hoping to get better reports that he can work it.Did you dislike the vapcap component or just the whole log? I'm curious what vapes you do like.
