Quick questions: those of you who own/use a Vapcap - are you glad you have one in addition to the enano? How does the vaping experience/buzz compare to using the enano?

I'd previously ruled out using a Vapcap because I couldn't see myself using a big torch (just not my style). But now I see you can get an induction heater to heat up the Vapcap instead of a torch.

So I'm interested again. What say you, my enano frients? Is it worth it? And if so, which model?

Vapcap with a torch is fantastic, with an IH it's so good you'll never want to use a torch again (4-5 sessions with equally toasted material, i only do 3 with a torch).
Start with the M19, the cheapest and the experience is 100% as the one you'd have with the more expensive ones (but V.A.S will soon strike and will want to have a collection of them, with glass stem, Phatpiggie's stems etc. Really addictive vape and a perfect piece of engineering ;) )

With a bigger torch there's the Elev8R by 7thFloorVape: you'll never experience a better flavour with any other vape, but your bowl is gone in one heavy hit, more precisely the first one is way better than the second you'll do after shaking the bowl (perfect with a bong too) .

Another great one is the Junior by Sticky Bricks, with the Runt's mouthpiece it's even better.

Enano is more for a cannabis sommelier, it picks so perfectly all the perks of a strain with such a little amount (but it's more for a personal use, no big session with friends).

I keep having a fascination with the vapcaps but can't bring myself to daily use. I own two older models but don't use them because I'm bad on the torch, harsh on my throat and poor draw resistance. So then I get wooed by the IH heaters and a water wand. The water wand is very nice and I also love @phattpiggie's stems. I believe @Pipes is coming out with a smaller plug in IH and the portside mini's look fun.

The thing is, a plug-in IH would be like a desktop with the plug and I already have the nano. The portable IH's look fun, but then I got to carry around the vapcap and a heating device where the Fury 2 is all in one. So for me its been up and down with the vapcap but the journey isn't over. I understand the newer Ti tips have much better draw resistance.

I’m relatively new to vaping and the only vapes that I presently own are an e-nano and a Vapcap M (their cheapest). I like them both, a lot. I bought the Vapcap mostly as a backup. I wasn’t crazy about torches and buying butane, but it definitely worked. Then I built an induction heater that’s battery and wall powered. That was a game changer - I use it all the time now! I use them both almost exclusively thru water.

The nano is my first choice. I think it tastes better and is easier to use, with virtually no maintenance. The Vapcap does need to be cleaned out periodically. As efficient as the nano is, I think the Vapcap is even more efficient - I can get three or four hits off of crumbs. It doesn’t need a warm up, and of course is portable and doesn’t need electricity. I think owning a Vapcap is money well spent. :)

enano is much better for me. I have an M andam not blown away at hit quality. maybe an omni is better but it is still nothing like a enano. the best part is it is always ready and no mistakes

Thanks for all the replies. So this is what I'm hearing:

Taste: e-nano over vapcap
Efficiency: vapcap over enano (barely?)
Portability: N/A (for me - I use a wax pen when out)
Harshness: enano over vapcap

I'm not dissatisfied with the enano at all - I was just wondering if the vapcap experience/buzz was different enough to try. Unless the vapcap offers a better buzz than the enano, I'm not seeing enough reasons above to spend the $.

Thanks again!

Nano over vapcap wins every category except being unplugged for me.
Pairs excellent with the woodscents log vaporizer though.........I have found a valid use for all three.
:leaf:
The VAPCAP is decent for some?

DA NANO is very perfect 4 some?

I had a PLUG put in the backyard garden for my use!

The NANO is used the most!

Maybe it depends what your need’s R?

Don't worry, you'll get one eventually. VAS has a funny way of rearing its ugly head. Maybe not now, but funny things happen around 420. If the vapcap has caught your eye, you'll be back. I'm not sold on them either, but when those new IH's start coming out

Right now it's some GG#4 sauce through the nano with my bubbler. I recently got into the rosin pressing hobby so I can't wait to nano on some fresh rosin. Gotta wait till the family goes out for the day since pressing stinks up the house (I am told). :science:

Wondering if anyone has had any issues with their unit not heating up?

I ordered my e-nano around 2 months ago and it finally arrived yesterday, (I live in Australia, and USPS sent the package to the wrong country originally..) I plugged the dial into my 240v to 110v transformer only to find that my vape is not heating up at all. The blue led turns on, however the heating cylinder stays cold.

I saw a post a bit further up about 3rd party cords - has anyone had much experience with this?
I would test using my PS4 cord, however it's an Australian adapter and I don't want the vape unit running on 240v.

Really keen to get this vape working, hopefully someone can help me out!

Just an update on this.
I went over to a friends place yesterday to open up the dimmer, and everything looked fine and dandy.
I also bought an AUS > US adapter and plugged that into my step down transformer so I can test the unit using my PS4 plug - and alas it still does not heat up :(

Would anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? My friend offered to open it up and have a look, he has done some repairs on his Da Buddha before - but I'm not sure what I should be looking for exactly lol.

Pretty disappointing that the unit isn't heating up considering I have already had to wait a fair while.
I've sent another email to customerservice@epicvape.com to discuss my options.
Looks like I might not have my vape for 4/20 :(

Remove the cork pads on the left and right side of the serial number on the base then remove the screws and baseplate.
That will expose the connections hopefully one just came unclipped.
I have opened it up, and it looks okay to me? But in all honesty I have very little experience with opening up electronics like this.
I have attached some pictures for reference.

I appreciate your help so far :)

Hi my friend @ataxian - hope my note today finds you well.

Ran my Enano all night last night with the gong, carb'd adapter, and my Ion knockoff. Was perfect for watching the final four (both games....more bball than I have watched in many years).

It was perfect. I can drain about .8 - .1 in a couple of draws....give it stir and take one more just to clean it up. Just very easy, efficient, and always on.

Do you mind attaching a picture if it's not too much trouble?
I wonder how this has happened :\

Thanks heaps Arb!
@ACE OF VAPE and @nadia_epic

There could be many reasons its not heating including a failure of the cartridge heater. Best to engage with Epic on resolving this.

I have looked at the pictures and can't really see melting vs just a bit much of a soldering job. But Epic will be able to tell.

Cheers
