So my PalmScale 8.0 arrived yesterday!
This is a great scale with great looks!

On average i have discovered that my average load size in the GonG is 0,05g!!!
This gets me at least 3 good milky hits with very nice clouds!
The Nano really shines when you add a WT to the mix!
To watch a large WT fill with dense vapor is amazing, the magic really happens when it does it again on the second and third hits as well!!

So the Nano has made it's way back into the daily rotation!
I now have a Triad of vapes in rotation, Herbalizer, EVO and the Nano!
These three seem to have cured my VAS for now and turned it into GAS...
You can never win!!

My enano is so much hotter compared to yours, at 8 on a gong that size I would combust. Interesting to see the difference in units on fc
Edit: can we get a picture of the spent wax load ?

My E-Nano sounds about the same as yours!
8 is as high as i go on my 19mm GonG otherwise i get combustion in small areas.

Not sure why mine does this in a GonG but it tends to brown one half of the herb during a hit.
I have to stir the bowl to get even extraction.
Not that i mind because after one decent hit i usually need a break to wait for my head to join my body again!

If anyone is in doubt about this vape, here is a great testimonial from me! LMAO!!

I used to use the nano daily for all my vaporising needs.
Then came the Herbalizer that blew everything out of the water and the Nano went into storage.
Reading all the threads about how great the Nano pairs with WT's, i just had to try it one more time because i really loved this vape.
First time i paired the Nano with a WT i was blown away!
The Nano has wriggled it's way back into front and center and is used almost every day now!
I try and give each vape a day to itself but sometimes i get stuck on a particular vape for a few days.
Lately it has been the Nano!
The one thing i love about the GonG is i can do flowers, oil, hash or a variety of all of them without changing the set up!
Truly a great and versatile vape to own!

No i just use the new screen that Andy sent with the GonG.
It is formed to the GonG and goes up the side of it a bit.

I would use two screens if the gong had to be upside down though.
So when i use the Swagger LE HT it needs two screens.

All my other WT's the Nano is upside down on top of them so no need for two screens.

I have two WT's similar to this one, so i only use one screen with them.

I think your confused about what a wt is.it attaches to the enano making it inverted so you would need two screens. The piece you posted a picture of is simply a glass piece. Wt stands for water tube or water tool I have a hydratube which is similar to it

Water tool is rather ambiguous and he answered the question about the screens... Lazy has an EVO, I'm pretty sure he knows what a hydratube is.

And exactly how you loaded it. Just wax on the basket screen? I was going to get some organic cotton to assist with concentrates, but am not liking the discussion on "cotton after taste" I been reading about (even with McFinns).

I been just putting wax (or anything meltable) on a bud and by the time I need to "X-cut" the bud with the EPIC tool (after 2-3 hits) the concentrate seems to have melted in/vaped. I would however like to try JUST vaping concentrate/wax without the bud.

Ill get a video up of a start to finish session for you guys. Itll be up tomorrow by the latest.

I also use herb as a medium for my concentrate. Issue for me is that I use larger dabs so I tend to get that ABV flavor coming through before the oil is done.

BTW I think that was my post you read about the McFinns. The jury is still out on that, I need to try vaping cotton without wax to see if I can taste anything. Aside from that though, I found using lower temps 7.5-8 vs 9-10) negated the aftertaste I was getting.

EDIT: I was using ice wax in that video. It still has a tiny bit of plant matter in it so its more like a super melt hash than an BHO wax.

A WT is a water tool to me, as in the bong itself.
GonG is the male part of the slide, this one has the bowl built in and a glass screen.

So to my understanding i explained it correctly.
I can use the Gong with my EVO's HT so long as i use two screens.

Yeah, my wax vaped a little, then melted into the upper gong stem with just a basket, and one extra screen, no cotton/bud. I will have to learn the gong reclaim trick.

Agree about putting it on a nug and then having the nug get "done" before the wax.

Going to the drugstore later to get some organic cotton.

Use as little cotton as possible. I use just enough for the concentrate to soak into and no more.

Many people, including myself, actually prefer the pinch screen (without the glass screen) because it offers more airflow.

Some people use the glass screen with an extra steel screen and still get enough flow for their taste.

Use as little cotton as possible. I use just enough for the concentrate to soak into and no more.

That's exactly how I do it. And thanks for the vid, I guess many people will get inspired.
I don't do vids and pics on here, and I wanted to share this method in more detail for some time now. Last summer I thought I might be one of the only ones who "abuses" the Nano for concentrates like that. Glad you turned up, Caligula, and help spreading the convection dab wisdom.

Been doing this for a long time with wax, works really well!
I find 7 on my dial is the sweet spot, any higher and it is touch and go!

We were experimenting yesterday with some pressed hash, a thin layer of herb, a blob of wax, another thin layer of herb and then topped off with some dry sifted hash.
HOLY COW!!!
Super medicated!

I love my nano! I have been doing things diffrent lately with it to address many symptoms in one 2 stem session.First off, Andy the basket screens are awesome. I love being able to change the depth of the stem. Great job on those.
Ok what I have been doing is I load a ½ stem, using the basket screen to adjust the depth. With my nano just past 5½ I take betwwen 3 or. 4 hits, then dump it out for future use. Then I crank the Nano up to 7½ allow a few minutes to warm, load a fresh ½ stem. I get 4~5 nice rips. By then the vapor has thinned. At that point I feel everything useful has been completely extracted. I feel so much better after that method. The psycological first then the physical. I think the best part for me is being able to achive the duel relief I need out of a single stem load. Very, very efficient. Thank you Andy!

I just had the most amazing experience with a slab of shatter wrapped in a very small piece of FINN'S for the filter.

WOW!

I can finish this latter.
After 3 rips I'm VAKED!
I found level 7 to work however I will try level 8 as well!
Normally I weight my shatter.
This time I was impulsive!
