LMAO! Now you have me thinking about the possibilitiesUnless the water contains thc then i can't see how it could help.
Green dragon sprayed or dripped on bud and left to dry/evaporate, not tried yet but is on my list of things to do.lo said:LMAO! Now you have me thinking about the possibilitiesUnless the water contains thc then i can't see how it could help.
If its vacuum sealed it can be stored for a very very long time and in my experience become better if you are doing this for curing purposes.pbiend said:Keeping Bud Long Term...I read that you should dry the bud 'til the stems snap rather than bend. Then store in an air-tight mason jar in a cool dark place...am wondering how long they will last--a couple months, a year?
Mezz Mezzrow said:I understand that if you dry out the buds before grinding you'll wind up with more goodies in the bottom chamber of your grinder, but is there any other reason to dry the buds before grinding? I've been grinding the herb and usually further combing through the ground herb to remove all bits of stems and seeds, reducing it to a fine powder. This powder then dries out really quickly. Are there any drawbacks to doing it this way?
I think that as long as there's air flow through the herb, you should be fine.willywagtail said:i think I'll follow lwiens lead and not worry about drying it out.
Yeah, Mezz was more of a weed man than a reed man. His autobiography, "Really the Blues", is an interesting book, and gives you a window on the American drug culture of the early Twentieth century. One thing that occurred to me is that a common term for herb user at that time was "viper". So in the 80 years or so since then we've gone from being "vipers" to "vapers".willywagtail said:I had to look up mezz mezzrow as I like glenn miller and louis armstrong and loved seeing james morrison in a quartet live, but I wasnt expecting to learn a new term for weed! Thats hilarious
I think that all bud needs to be cured correctly before smoking or vaping, but I don't think drying out bud past the curing stage can make it any more potent, eh?Happycamper said:If weed is too fresh for me it can make me feel a bit sick with the strong Chlorophyll after taste you can get. Also I think some strains get stronger when they are dried correctly, certainly my own close personal experience of an autoflowering variety.
Not necessarily.Dry is the only way to vape
