I would make that trade too if the opportunity came about.
I do agree with BDV although I'm sure the agreement can't be altered now.

Yeah, that was a problem with it but with the right water level it wouldn't do that. Enjoy that DG; I'm sure you will.

Yeah I honestly played with the water level too much on that trying to get it perfect.

With DG's glow in the dark stuff, does it really glow if it gets enough sunlight? Im going to do the trade when im off of work, excited!

Congrats, on getting a piece you love. Its always sweet to have something, you truly enjoy using... especially with something that truly is a personal experience.

Looks like one of the cleaner, well put-together, pieces I've seen of his to.

What is the diff between the Micro and Mini fritted disc bub?
The specs on ALT only lists a difference of height, and it's only half an inch LOL.
Am I missing something?

Also, does the fritted disc provide too much diffusion? Does it rob flavor much?

I have a prototype of the mini can, and a 13" straight tube.
I love them.
There is some restriction to the draw, given the perc, but the diffusion is unmatched.

I prefer it with more free flowing vapes than the solo (I saw your post in that thread too), since the perc would fire more fully, but they will still pair together well.

Afaik, the difference between the mini and micro is just the size.

There's no "too much diffusion", just personal preference.

some claim that over diffusing can remove some flavor from vapor. i dont see the purpose of multi perc pieces personally. i mean the perc is there to break up the vapor/smoke into smaller particles. multi perc pieces diffuse then all the vapor/smoke gets put back together only to be diffused again. does not make sense to me.

You are still exposing that smoke or vapor to a greater volume or surface area of moisture to come in contact with before being inhaled though

Yes, but it makes the hit gentler on your lungs.
It's a trade off, how harsh the hit will be vs how much flavor there will be.

I'd be happy with so much diffusion that there was no taste if the hit was so smooth it felt like breathing air, but I know many others wouldn't be happy with that - hence personal preference.

Got this in last week, thought I'd share. I've been wanting to put a video up because the two on youtube just don't give this thing justice. If you've seen the red and yellow one on youtube the stack doesn't pass the chamber but this baby will stack smaller bubbles just as high with the extended can, dry pull or not! Insane aesthetics - I feed off the "I don't believe it" gaze everytime I show someone new, and better diffusion than the Stereo Matrix, no doubt. Though there is a bit more drag on the clear that is fixed by experience through use, once you know what you're workin with you can get snap like impact just like in any zero-drag piece. The machine like fizz almost rules the issue out all together because you can feel the vapor being shredded and frothed, a must for the yellow gloppy smoke. Even with the drag coefficient the Dave Goldstein still takes it because everything else is flawless! Easy to clean, unique airflow, straight welds (atleast here), unparalleled diffusion and the piece is clean and simple. Taste isn't as much of an issue as everyone builds it up to be because of the massive clouds you're able to pull, even with the smaller glass frit pieces in the 65mm - believe me; I taste a solid hit on the inhale and the exhale regardless. DG FTW (Anyone have the 65mm bubbler? Really interested to see those function.)

Yes, gnome is my favorite way to vaporize. I picked up DG because it is totally opposite of my LIL Mona.
