Echo all your sentiments @maremaresing on both the Fusion 2 and the Ronx torch lighter. The Fusion 2 is a step up in quality and refinement from the OG Fusion and is a monumental up grade from the V2 SS, V3 SS Dani's. Still enjoy my V3 Ti though, as the consistency and air flow for native use is spot on for me. A worthy addition IMO to anyone's collection if it can be found.

Thankfully, the adjustments on my Ronx are stiff, especially the single to double flame knob. Way to many lighters purchased over the years for back packing and vapes. Most have only been filled once and then boxed. Time to purge and many will find their way to friends this holiday.

Great Review! The lighter looks great too, I think I might buy it. The thing is, its 30€ in Germany, quite expensive...
However, this one on Aliexpress looks exactly the same: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005007614985408.html
Do you think it might be the same model. just dropshipped over Amazon? Or do you see any differences in material or design?

OT The Ronx lighter has been around for several years. I've seen it branded in many different names. Haven't heard any complaints about any of them, only praise. 'Honest' is a reliable brand for inexpensive lighters and this one is likely made for them by the same company who manufactures Ronx. This overall built is a very solid, has a full spectrum of flame(s) lengths and achievable temp ranges, making it a very versatile torch lighter for the price.

Careful with getting into lighters! My lighter acquisition syndrome is worse than VAS, and every new vaporizer sparks it all over again.

Nice thing about the Fusion is you really don't need as big a torch as the Dani's. I can get by with lighters a tad more powerful than what I'd use for a dynavap, shockingly. A double torch lighter turned up to 1-1.5 inches is sufficient, and 3 seconds past the click gets OHE reliably.

RELIABLE seems to be the standout feature of the Fusion 2.0 to me so far. It's not just that it can do a one heat extraction, or that it can deliver spectacular flavor, or that it delivers perfect effects in it's vapor signature, it's that it does it every single time. I'm shocked and amazed that a device like this exists in it's refinement. Vapor signature rivals my top tier desktop.

The Fusion remains the leap forward over the Dani that the Dani was to other stem devices of it's time. It's an order of magnitude better than the Dani IMO.

And it's a BEAST through glass. The airflow allows percolation through water, or just the feeling of the perfect flow through dry pieces. Earth shattering rips that remind me of smoking.

@lazy that lighter in the back is the venerable RONXS Torch Lighter. If you don't have any torches that you favor, just buy one. It's not my favorite. I hate that the slider for the flame height is in the right position to get bumped and that it moves so easily, and the ergos aren't great. That said, it does single and double flame with (too) easy flame adjustment, and is usually what I reach for when trying to figure out the right flame type and height for a new vaporizer. It can easily do something tiny for dynavaps or lotus, or biggish dual torch capable of heating a terpcicle. The tank holds a massive amount of butane, and fit and finish are top notch. Just a good one to have in your arsenal and it's dirt cheap.

Awesome post, that's really useful. Not that I want to tempt you, but a Jobon Bullet landed on my doorstep a couple of days ago, and that seems pretty okay, which can range from a small flame to a pretty big one. I was set on purchasing an Anvil, but then the Tornado came out, which made me pause. But after reading this thread and doing further research, I think I'm now gravitating more towards the F2 (I'm so paranoid of VAS that I tend to over-research and overthink, haha). Quite the set-up you've got there, and those red-eye stems look the mutt's nuts.

I picked up a Fusion 2 Artemis in the Black Friday sales, I already have the metal version but the Vietnamese tracwood stem is so much nicer. beautiful so smooth!
Thanks for the sie by side picture. I'm torn between the Artemis and the Metal one. Some stated, that the metal stem is cooling a bit better - any toughts about this?
In addition, while watching some reviews I've noticed, that you can take apart the outer shell and the condenser tube on the metal stem - is this the case with the Artemis too, or is the inner tube glued/whateverfixed to the wood?

I think there's not much difference in the vapor between the wood and metal...the wood is just so much nicer to hold and doesn't get as hot to the touch....I can't comment on the wood coming apart from stem not tried

Hi, I just finally received my Dani Fusion 2.0 after a month of waiting. Unfortunately, it seems like it wasn’t properly packaged. For one, the leather sleeve is missing, and on top of that, it was just loosely placed in the typical LCV case. How did you receive your Fusion? Was it also just loosely packed, or did it come in proper sealed packaging? I’m worried I might have received a used device.

For what I see…it is new, not used.
Claim your sleeve to LCV. The last months they have been slow to send products with errors like that (a missing part/accessory)

Thanks for THW comments. Wanted to order an Artemis and a metal stem from lcv, but I think I'll just wait until the next year and order probably on vdn.

Next question: I've bought a Sherlock Style Hook with a 14mm connector. The metal WPA is kinda pricy (30€) so any idea if a 10 to 14mm adapter could also work with the Fusion 2.0 tip?

.
Possibly. Dani's tips are 9 mm and I've adapted a 8 mm DV tip to a Dani stem by simply adding several extra DV O -rings on top of the stem part that has the normal seated O -rings. The DV tip with extra O -rings connection is every bit as solid as the Dani tip would be. Acquiring the extra cooling abilities of the Dani stem was the goal and it delivered.

I'm guessing the same strategy could work on a 9 mm tip to glass 10 mm wpa. However, if you remove the tip every time you refill, it will disturb the position of the extra O -rings and become a pain in the ass to deal with. But if the wpa and tip are moved as one unit, reloading shouldn't be a problem. Away on Holidays otherwise I would try the set up for you.

That's exactly what I do with a 10 to 14 adapter, and find it to be far superior to the metal wpa in size and fitment. Just add a few extra orings and it will be a snug fit.
