love this thing!

That's a great lighter indeed!
How's the quality?
Have you been using it a lot/long time?

Found the lighter model for ya'll, which has the Sisuman name engraved so I don't think it's a rebrand. (could still be) https://sisuman.com/products/torch-lighter

Looks neat.

Looks like that one indeed!
Very classy lighter! I love it!
And it ships from Europe!! Double sweet!

Tempting... Would be my most expensive torch tbh so love to hear @Hagbard 's review of it!

if i would've known you wanted the name i would have told you :D

yep. its the sisuman. its a pretty solid lighter. the tank is not that big due to the cigar punch on one side but its absolutely enough. and i am using it not a lot but i have it for about a year and it never let me down when i grabbed it. due to the fact i only have more expensive lighters a xikar would be first recommendation but the style of the sisuman is very unique. so if that is what you are looking for you won't be disappointed.

Two weeks in now with the poker fusion setup and have been super happy with the results. I’m using this almost as much as another newly released similar device.

Using with the inductor and taking slightly past the click produces deep tasty pulls. Yes, plural. Can most certainly get 2-3 depending on pack/strain.

My only comment for improvement would be the threading connection, bowl to head. Lots of turns and the threads seem very thin. Have to use a strong magnet to remove the cap. Yeah, and just like the tornado, need to back off the bowl or it will stick (no problem there just remember).

Not sure I’d ever tried this without using the poker. Glad I gave it a shot. Hurray to BFG for putting this combo together.

I use the sheath to remove the cap (open end folded down gives 2 layers of leather). When I got mine, I thought the sheath was a 'nice touch', but it actually proved useful.

Saw someone (elsewhere) refer to the cap situation as 'heatlock', and I hope that term catches on, tbh. I've got a 1/4 turn backoff incorporated now, but, yes -- fewer turns & finer thread are needed for the next revision.

I just got an Artemis all the goodies that come with it and I bought extra o-rings and screens. £123ish delivered can't fault it at all.

This vape is really hard not to recommend!.
Couldn't agree more. I haven't bit until this version (long stem) and it's brilliant. Not only does it produce fine vapor but the build is very clean, it's easy to use, the overall aesthetic is above its price-point and the wood is just gorgeous. Hard to beat the bang for the buck.

Yeah the long stem wood version?. I have that also it was my first bfg device bought about two months ago and used it every day since.

I've put everything through it and it's not let me down.

I really didn't need an Artemis but I couldn't resist. I know some people aren't keen on the leather sleeve but I really like it.

It's a little more pocket friendly then the long version.

This a reload and a triple flame will definitely be my on the go vape. Especially living in an illegal country.

Sounds really nice. How's the heat with the Artemis? Bet the flavor's great.

Funny you mention that... I just got through applying a thin coat of beeswax to mine. :)

Now for the not-as-nice news... apparently, the type of wood used is listed on Wikipedia as 'threatened' (but also that it's very popularly used for a variety of things.) Which doesn't give me great feels, tbh.

But... since earlier this month, I've had an attitude adjustment, of sorts. So I'll admire mine, and assure myself that, why certainly, another tree was planted in order to offset this small branch being used for mine

Ah I didn't realise it was it was threatened species. It's a nice wood as well. I'm a joiner and we have a lot a Brazilian mahogany at work but it's from the early 90's and came back from tables we made in the 80's (before my time).

Sorry that makes no sense we got them back in the 90's from the materials we used previously.

I'm hight from a good few tests on this.

To be completely honest the flavours are the same but I'd say the long wooden stem has better hand feel. But maybe I'm just more used to it.

No worries. I didn't post that in response to you, so please don't feel like I was judging you or anything (see, I'm stoned, too!)

Now... can we make arrangements for you to send us some of that reclaimed Brazilian mahogany?

BTW... the Futo stem on my Anvil is made of Brazilian Cherry (jatoba). (And, yes, I did look it up first, to make sure mine didn't cause the last tree to be felled. Lol.)

I’m so glad to see this thread getting more active by the day, as more users come to realise the brilliance of this little Vietnamese wonder. It offers so much value for all different types of vaping styles that it’s rude not to own one at this point ;)

BFG have come a long way since the early models, while they were great in their own right the Fusion was the first one that really nailed it in a big way IMO.

As for the plant the wood comes from being endangered, I’m a horticulturalist by trade and you’d be surprised how many of these plant species have seeds being taken and preserved these days to make sure they’re never truly extinct. Seeds are somewhat of a horticultural time capsule, under the right storage conditions they can last for a very long time.

A bigger worry is climate change disrupting the life cycle of plants, it’s something I’ve witnessed first hand.

not for me to decide. what stem will be best poker, mini or artemis?
If it were me, I'd select based on my cooling needs.

Using with a water piece? One of the shorter ones would be OK.
Using it natively (only) ? I'd get the longest one, as the Dani does retain a bit of heat at the stem, especially if you're cycling fast.

I've had the BFG F2 for a couple weeks now, thanks to Wesleypipesandmore's amazing black friday "all metal all the time" bundle deal. I love it. The F2 is to my Dani's what my Dani's were to literally every other vaporizer. It's that massive of an upgrade.

My love of the Dani v2 and v3 is extensive and documented. They are a flavorful powerhouse workhorse that never fails to extract whatever you put in, even if it's a microdose load. Lot's of vaporizers are fun to use and have, but when I needed to just lock and load I reached for the Dani's. I have several of them so I can have them dedicated to different tasks.

Yeah, so now I barely want to touch them after using the F2. To say flavor is off the charts would ignore the scouring, eye watering, terp burn it can deliver. Just wild new flavors that even the dani's never unlocked.

Airflow is ridiculous. Almost too much. More than I'd hoped.

One heat extraction is easy and repeatable, one hit extraction is also possible if you can handle the terps. It's just an accurate device through and through.

Obviously the metal WPA is good, and the metal decapper is a life changer, but I think it's funny that the F2 stem looks best with the Dani V3 tip and mouthpiece, while the F2 mouthpiece looks best with the Dani v3 stem and Dani V2 head. Obviously the F2 unlocks the full potential of the stainless amazed pipe, where the amazed is actually a bottleneck in airflow.

Anyway, it's a fantastic device and BFG knocked it out of the park yet again.

HAH! Always happy to list the torches, and really should start doing that.

The one up front is a kollea dual torch pinpoint lighter, now discontinued. I'm sure it's still be produced under a different name. One of my absolute favorite small lighters. Just an excellent feel and action on all the moving parts, the window on the side is easy to read, and the tank feels a decent size. I also love that it makes a perfect stand for my stem devices to keep the hot tip off the table.

Best part is that 3-5 seconds after the click on the bottom ring with the F2 gets a perfect OHE.

The one in the back is the venerable Lotus Brawn 4 torch pinpoint lighter. An absolute beast. Even on the old Dani v2, it provides "respect the click" heating. Tank size is massive. You'll forget when the last time you filled it by the time it needs another fill. Lever ignition is sure and weighted perfectly and feels incredible. The deep stem/device stand on top both makes a great stand but also feels great and natural to flip the top open and closed with your forefinger.

It's a great lighter but anymore I think it's overkill. I probably need to start heating closer to the click disk to account for it's power.

Thank you! 🙏 Will do some google-fu on these. I've been searching the forum like crazy trying to work out what people are using, and really appreciate people sharing what they use and what actually works for them. I do like the idea of a big tank, so will probably make this a deciding factor.

Careful with getting into lighters! My lighter acquisition syndrome is worse than VAS, and every new vaporizer sparks it all over again.

Nice thing about the Fusion is you really don't need as big a torch as the Dani's. I can get by with lighters a tad more powerful than what I'd use for a dynavap, shockingly. A double torch lighter turned up to 1-1.5 inches is sufficient, and 3 seconds past the click gets OHE reliably.

RELIABLE seems to be the standout feature of the Fusion 2.0 to me so far. It's not just that it can do a one heat extraction, or that it can deliver spectacular flavor, or that it delivers perfect effects in it's vapor signature, it's that it does it every single time. I'm shocked and amazed that a device like this exists in it's refinement. Vapor signature rivals my top tier desktop.

The Fusion remains the leap forward over the Dani that the Dani was to other stem devices of it's time. It's an order of magnitude better than the Dani IMO.

And it's a BEAST through glass. The airflow allows percolation through water, or just the feeling of the perfect flow through dry pieces. Earth shattering rips that remind me of smoking.

@lazy that lighter in the back is the venerable RONXS Torch Lighter. If you don't have any torches that you favor, just buy one. It's not my favorite. I hate that the slider for the flame height is in the right position to get bumped and that it moves so easily, and the ergos aren't great. That said, it does single and double flame with (too) easy flame adjustment, and is usually what I reach for when trying to figure out the right flame type and height for a new vaporizer. It can easily do something tiny for dynavaps or lotus, or biggish dual torch capable of heating a terpcicle. The tank holds a massive amount of butane, and fit and finish are top notch. Just a good one to have in your arsenal and it's dirt cheap.

Great Review! The lighter looks great too, I think I might buy it. The thing is, its 30€ in Germany, quite expensive...
However, this one on Aliexpress looks exactly the same: https://de.aliexpress.com/item/1005007614985408.html
Do you think it might be the same model. just dropshipped over Amazon? Or do you see any differences in material or design?
