Dani Fusion ordered!

Does anyone know if it'll fit in my Jarhead or Cauldron IH? The glass insert looks fairly wide, but I'm reading that only the Ispire wand fits it?

I dont thknk it will fit. Some of the VHB units may work if adjusted. Also, FWIW this thing shines with a torch. I use my IH only when the noise is an issue late at night. Speaking of which, can anyone reccomend a good mid size torch that is quiet?

Do you have a Depot or Lowe’s by you? I used to get the medium sized Benzmatic that was my favorite until they stopped. Now they have the Gardner Bender as a replacement and it’s better! Also quieter. I set adjustment a little under half way for a nice 3” blue flame.

as the insomniac welder what is your meaning of mid size ? like cargo pocket or backpack size ? also have you tried full purging your current torch or bumping the flame down the flame a bit ? i have had a few that came with the regulator/adjustment set just a bit to high

From an insomniac vape chimp; Ronxs dual flame torch (set to single flame) is the torch of choice on my Dani Fusion, v3 & Anvils. $23 on Amazo.ca right now. You can get 3 of them for the price of one Blazer Firefox, second favourite torch for bigger snappin vapes. Haven’t tried on DVs. The Ronxs on single flame setting at about 3/4 inch inner blue flame is very quiet. But I’m going deaf so ..... Go Ronxs 100%

eagle brand PREAMEM torch at 13 us $ is a good compact . my sole mate is extra quite its a knock off so in sure other brands . pleanty of good opsins from $15 to $40 the size is the mane ?

So I just tried something new with my fusion. I use the ronxs dual torch set on single flame with the center flame about 2 inches. Loosen the cap to where there is a bit of the tip showing. At a 90° angle aim the flame right into the gap. Put the tip of the center flame right up to the gap, rock back and forth for even heating. Ready right at the click

Instead ,I got a weed milk shake so thick it looked unnatural and tasted great. I dont understand how that works. Ive done the same thing in Dynas and when i cut it that close, it tastes funky even if there isnt any combustion.

There is some kind of magic to this and it provides a lot more leeway for new converts. I really like that aspect of the BFG lineup. Ive had two buddies combust their M's and promptly turned them into chillums or paper weights due to never really seeing what it could do. They were both out of state so I couldnt walk them through it in person and they are stubborn bastards. This isnt to hate on the dynas. I still ues them daily and love them. They are just beasts of a different nature.

magnets work grate for the fusion and the new IH caps for the v3's im still rocking the old school v3 cap i read the IH caps heat quicker with a torch as well due to the Aloy so a comparison of those would be interesting as well took a bunch of measurements and picks lost phone as soon as i can will post would love to take place as we all have our way of vaping . but to simplify the reason for the affect you decribe comes down to well we going to say 3 things for now lol...
1 MASS yea v3 cap has 2 to 3 grams of difference but that's not really important for this part of the subject as much as it is displaced more even on the fusion vs more tip heavy on the v3
2 when is cold air being heated
3 what is cold air cooling as or before being heated
4 wear .this will be your technique hints wear you heat
5 how this will be how hard the cold air is forced to be heated before passing through your bud

you never did say what size torch you was looking for also as for noise all factors matter so witch is worse to you high pitch hiss or deep growl ?
to ad to my prier post. got greedy with my angel nicked my wood with my torch but that's not the worse part of it as i have been babying that stem. also want to ad as even with DYNAVAP and BFG being the 2 vapes im most familiar with hate trying to compare them both are winners but playing different games.

@RichardsBag the real ? is knowing all that info can you adjust #4 to get close to the same affect ?

I bought some 3/8 inch Grade 2 Titanium concave screens from US Amazon to put in my Fusion bowl. It was loose at first but I hammered it flat between two wooden plugs, now it fits like a charm. I love it!

I didn't really notice a difference, not sure though. I like open airflow with both holes open, low temp & microdose, so can't say much about a packed bowl. But just from looking at the screen I would actually guess it gives more airflow if anything because the holes are bigger.

i as well stay on the lower side of the temp as well and honestly don't mind haveing to reheat as my fusion my edc compact i actually pefrr it .. and as i said that thay was both in the wash as i relised both was so cloged to about a 16 gage hole lol will re side by side tonite

Hey there! As for torch size I’m interested in what’s working well for people. As for the type of noise… I think the lower ones are harder Ti hear it quiet is as quiet does.

I don’t really follow this part of your post. I’m pretty die hard about not only enjoying both dyna and BFG but think we can all get along! I’ve had and shared my issues about dyna during the ‘The Cappening’s pt 1 and 2 but that was about company policy and issues.

I still very much enjoy their stuff. I even like the armored cap (v2) but am still learning the ways of the M+ tip. It’s a new type of deal. Anyways just wanted to clear that up and avoid any ‘cap popping’ contests before they started.

As you said inferred yourself I’ll just add the age old truism:

Titebond "original wood glue"… food safe... dunno if it will withstand the temp...

Or get a metal stem from BFG ?

The wood looks REALLY dried out. With exposure to that much heat, it's important to keep the wood moisturized with wax. I think the fusion should come with a small container of wood wax

Glass stem is superior for flavour imo although I now use almost exclusively with a WPA/JHook. Both widely available inc LCV.
