Discontinued Daisy vaporizer by Triihouse

Got the Daisy (and the lily) awhile back. Didn't have much time to do testing due to family commitments but with the little time i had, i tried Daisy. 1st and second time i didn't catch it so well, in fact i combusted the 2nd time. not sure what happened but i must have really stuck the torch in and too long/slow an inhale (slight combustion as i managed to stop just before full-scale combustion). cleaned the screen and just continued using it as the smell was not as bad as 'normal' combustion on my other vapes. great that i didn't have to wash it out with ISO. I watched the vids again, adjusted the flame length etc etc, covered the bottom hole the 3rd time round - Wow!

now i'm starting to get the technique down all 'n all and I have to say "what a good buy!".

The daisy is fast to hit, arguably the fastest vapor producer i've used. i like the fact that with the wider mouthpiece and the vape's heating system, i don't have to pull slow and all that crap with this vape. Just hit it! Great clouds from my crap weed, and the vapor production/control is impressive. I can do medium sips watching tv, or big party hits. The taste is good though at the moment slightly woody but i expect it to be seasoned soon. Also, i have to say although it's been reported that the vapor is cooler & smoother, i had my reservations. I'm glad to say i can hit it without a water tool and it does not irritate my throat like some other vapes. smooth vapor, definitely.

Triihouse threw in a water tool adapter (edited - it's actually for the lily) but i havent had the chance to use it yet. With some glass joints, those of you with a Pinnacle WT (like me, when i get the time) would have a real cool set-up as well. But even without water, the daisy is a joy to hit dry.

The daisy is also built like a tank, so except for the glass mp & the heat tube you can throw it around. That's the only thing cause i broke both my extra heat tubes for the daisy & lily first time cleaning them. thankfully you can always order extra. the Daisy is a fantastic old-school "wood & fire" vape and is the 1st vape i've come across that i would highly recommended to my combuster friends.

Great job by Triihouse.

edit - btw, the Daisy (and lily) is bloody beautifully constructed.

I think you're the very first person to report owning this water tool? Can you post a picture of it? I thought it was for the Lily, not the Daisy, so now I'm a bit confused.
I too would like to see a daisy WT

i'm sorry guys. in my excitement and stoneness, i mixed up the vapes for the wt. yes, it is for the lily. Having said that, if you use the adapter part of lily water tool or any 14mm connector and stick it into the daisy MP hole, you should be able to come out with a workable WT unit. noticed i used the lily's heat tube to form the "L" connector (where the lighter is). i haven't used the set-up yet but on a cursory glance, the airflow seems ok to me. pics below, i included a lighter for size comparison vs daisy (but i don't think i did a good job. the daisy is only marginally taller than the lighter).

edit - on second thought, to hell with all this. Firstly, it's too damn flimsy. secondly and more importantly, the Daisy is great to hit as is because of the smooth vapor. The water thing may be more suited for the lily, though i haven't tried it yet.

How did you get the Lily WT? Did it come with the "replacement" upgraded Lily?

With the cool smooth hits from the Daisy, I feel like they are water conditioned vapor. Thanks for the excuse to "experiment."

Does everybody get the whistle? I def have a whistle on one of my dabbing nails, but don't get one with the daisy. I guess more experimentation.

I don't hear the whistle often though people i've shared it with do. I spent Way too much time in my younger years standing in front of bass cabinets, Listening to hardcore bands in small bars, and shooting large guns with no ear protection to hear all those high pitched sounds now at my age (55). But I've never had a problem getting the biggest possible hits outta my daisy.

I noticed Tommy and Triihouse was experimenting early on with SS instead of glass for the mouth piece and heat intake. I also noticed they are not available on the website. Anyone have more info if there is still plans to introduce SS in the future?

Also, i just noticed the tweezers are not listed as coming with the Daisy anymore on the website. Anyone have any idea if these are still included or not? Sounds like a small thing, but i would have kicked in the extra $2 if i had known tweezers weren't coming in the package any longer.

Also, i know Triihouse is very busy. Anyone know how long a Daisy usually takes to build and ship once ordered directly from Triihouse these days?

Thanks everyone, and sorry for so many questions

the story is i wanted to order a lot of stuff in one go to save on shipping but i had to wait awhile longer. brenna threw in an (at that moment, i believe) experimental wt for the lily. said they were still testing things out. not sure if it's out yet. I'm sorry i haven't tested it yet* as the daisy is flooring me. though i have tried fitting the thing and i need to go put this in the Lily thread. sorry admin.

*edit - fits real nice w the lily into my 14mm bubbler. should work fine.

They stopped putting in tweezers and lighter in the Daisy package. Need to buy individually.

Well, it has been since around page 4 or 5 that I have posted about Daisy. She has become "THE" go to in the house. So easy to use, big clouds. Self adjusting temperature ;). The love affair continues to grow!

I have spent many $$$ on many vapes and Daisy suits my needs the best.

What is left to say?!

I still love my Daisy . . . :luv: I actually like to see how far away from the inlet I can keep the torch flame and still get a whistle and that "shock" vapor cloud when things line up.

Edit: I also ditched the wooden mouthpiece. Much better.

I'm with you on that 1 @t-dub - the love affair continues. Daisy is a keeper for sure.

However I will admit to losing my stride with her every now & then, but we soon get back on track. There are so many variables with Daisy & sometimes it seems we just need a little time apart.

Making-up is always fun

+1 for the wooden mouthpiece!
It looks like I might be going against the grain on this one. I actually like the relatively unusual feel the mouthpiece gives & Daisy looks stunning on my coffee table fully accessorized. The bare glass of the draw tube feels just a little unfinished to me & it feels like there's something missing when I hit her naked.

It's pure personal preference I guess, with no real change to function or performance.

I really quite like the idea of making a different shaped wooden mouthpiece for my Daisy at some point . . .

Anyway, no matter how you dress her up, I think we can all agree that Daisy is a total Goddess

Now, time for worship . . . :D

I *want* to go commando with Daisy and maybe I will try it when I get home, but I just prefer the seal and feel of my Cherry MP. I do want a better view of the vapor though, my one rare complaint about Daisy is how quickly the glass neck gets foggy.

the good thing about the glass neck is that it's width makes it easy to clean. i only need soap or iso wipes, fingers, tissue, stir stick.

I have been thinking about ways to avoid this. Its possible a coating of something like Rain-X might do it. Of course we don't want to create an inhalation hazard in the process . . .

Like most here it seems, I prefer using Daisy sans mouthpiece and with the short end of the neck inserted. Daisy is such a visual vape and this gives by far the best viewing.

The neck fogging up isn't too much of an issue if you are going for huge hits but I like to try to keep the vapor in the neck thin enough to still see through sometimes (still gives a pretty darn big hit if there is visible vapor for most of the draw). To judge this well you need clean non-foggy glass. Just running water from the hot tap through the neck regularly keeps it nice an clean although due to herb shortage I am reusing a piece of cotton with ISO to pre-clean and collect resin.

One tip for keeping the fog down is to simply take a couple of draws between hits. Evaporates the fog caused by the torch quite nicely.

It seems to be normal to not receive a confirmation email or tracking number for the Daisy. That said, anyone order a Daisy within the last few weeks who may be able to give me a ETA for package delivery? Just wondering standard turn-around time. Lack of tracking has increased my vaporizer acacquisition anxiety.

Mine shipped within the 14 days that subway mentioned. It was also the time when the lily was getting updated. I know how you feel haha. I emailed Brennan a couple times, and she was always assuring when it came to shipping so I never worried. It could ease the vas haha

We were kindly invited over to see some friends yesterday for a bit of Good Friday BBQ action. And to my surprise, what did I find sitting on the coffee table? . . . Only my Daisy's doppelganger!

Keep on spreading the word & I guess sometimes it gets heard. It's so good to see :)

It's not much of a pic but here's a quick shot of the girls . . . . with the V'man not wanting to be left out . . .

What a pair!

CHEERS!!! - We clinked our Daisies & took monster rips in unison :smug: . . . . . . . which seemed to provide great amusement for those observing our little ceremony.

Happy daze indeed

Walnut daisy and lily on the way and package should be here Thursday (tomorrow) if USPS doesn't disapoint. Triihouse was quick to assist and respond to emails, and my Daisy should be here exactly two weeks after the day i ordered, and i added a lily into the mix 3 or 4 days after which is shipping with her sister daisy. Triihouse was solid despite the high volume they are experiencing.
