Discontinued Daisy vaporizer by Triihouse

As you can probably tell from the name, our lovely Daisy is truly a flower vape ;)

With possibly a sprinkle of kief if your feeling sassy :brow:

It mostly seems to be the way with this one I think you'll find.

I'd never really want to run anything through her that could have the potential to get her woody interior all messy but as you mentioned, there may be ways around that.

I'm sure some peepz out there do it, but I just thought I'd say - not me.

It blows my mind that all you can find is concentrate, but, if all you've got is Daisy too then I guess you've just gotta do what ya just gotta do! :science:

:peace:

It's a situation born of laziness, lately my tolerance at the point I don't really look for flower anymore. I'm going to be testing it out in a couple days with screens and steel wool, but in the meantime resin-soaked cottonballs seem to work rather well in the daisy.

Well, I gifted my Daisy to a friend in need and her replacement came in today, with an updated Lily! :)

What makes the Lily updated?

As an aside I have 0 will-power. After fending off the massdrop e-nano and air I gave in and just ordered the Daisy. April seems too far away even if it ends up on sale.

Got my new torch yesterday. So far I like it. The overall flame adjustment, the part I really got this for is excellent. This adjusment lever on the side is perfect for me. I do wish I could get the flame a little bit smaller but it works well. The flame is just over a 1/2" on it's lowest setting. I dont know the exact amount but it holds a lot of butane compared to the stock torch. It came filled with mystery butane so I purged it all out and refilled with colibri and I am very pleased with the new butane as well as the torch. If feels very nice in my hand. I hope it holds up. I think it was well worth the price if it lasts.

I have the blue one in Orange, but it might be rebranded. I was surprised too that the flame is so big on its lowest setting. How does your igniter feel and how is it compared to the daisy lighter?

The igniter feels very good so far. It has great feedback when depressed. The torch has a decent overall build considering the low cost. It fires first click every time I've grabbed it today. So this was a welcomed change I got from the new torch. I greatly prefer it over the stock, there may have been issues with both stock lighters I have. The one stock that came with Daisy lights well and feels solid, but the flame requires constant adjustment even after several purges/ times in the freezer. The other one that came with my Lily kit only fires about a 1/3rd. of the time. It does not spark most times when using it, so I have to click click click it till it sparks. Then once it sparks it is good. The igniters on both stock lighters I have feel strange and do not depress on occasion, they get jammed and require me to spin the little "trim ring" that retains the igniter. Also awhile ago(about 2yrs) I ordered three of the stock lighters from dx. They all failed rather quickly. One the igniter went out, one the flame remaind on even after letting go of the button guessing flame lock got stuck. the third the igniter portion the part that holds it in the lighter broke when I dropped it. Out of the five that I have/had one of the stock works "well enough." I just don't have luck with the stock lighters. I am admittedly very rough on lighters some of the malfunctions I'm sure are a result of dropping, using poor butane, overextended use and so...No biggie as there are plenty of replacements to try.

A couple of discoveries after my first weekend with Daisy. The package arrived Friday afternoon. Yesterday I felt like she wasn't performing as well. Although I scrape the top of the screen and blow out whatever comes loose after each bowl, removing the screen revealed that the underside was solid. Yes, I'm a heavy-hitter. I threw it in some ISO and popped in another screen, and we were whistling away.

I also cleaned the glass mouthpiece. It was in the same position as shipped, the longer part of the glass in the wood block and the bend closer to the mouthpiece. After watching Tommy's video today, I noticed his is reversed, and I remember reading about this. What a difference! It's so much easier to see the vapor. An ah-ha moment for sure.

You'll find the screens and the glass mouthpiece is(edit; are) all you gotta clean, The screens clog really fast and I believe and from my experience that's a sure sign to being a 100% convection vape.

I too use my glass reversed and no wood mouthpiece, watching it fill with instant milk is awfully sweet.

i use mine without wooden mouthpiece and the glass reversed too. I keep the mouthpiece nice and clean so I can see what's going on.

What are people doing for case?

I've been using the box it came in but I need to find something else.

Finally got around to testing concentrates. I used a disc of steel wool as the matrix, and it seems to work pretty well. makes nice clouds when you get it whistling. might be nice to find something ceramic or glass eventually to use as a matrix

Ordered a Daisy today because i had some extra money in my paypal that was burning (or vaping) a hole in my pocket. I have had a flame filter vape, the vapocane,, the Supreme, the vapman, and the lotus which should provide interesting comparisons Vs. Other torch vapes. More to come, i will be sure to review and compare once i have daisy in hand.

This baby is ready to go and doesn't require any preheat. You'll find the draws effortless, the effects surprising, and design amazing. Also seeing vapir milk is a treat for the eyes. The only issue is finding the perfect torch (which it seems you have covered). This has been my daily ever since getting it a few weeks back.

Hope to hear that review soon

Some quick tips for the new people.

1. Make sure the screen screen is clean! You can only really tell that the screen is clogged by looking at the bottom of the screen, which you cannot do. So you can either check by taking out the screen or you can just take the block with the screen and cover the carb hole and try to take a hit from the hole on the other side and see if it is restricting your draw with nothing in the bowl. With a really clogged screen it should restrict it , a brand new screen has no restriction at all. This vape works amazing with brand new screen in it.

2. For your first few bowls only cover the screen, you don't want to combust a bunch of your meds testing out the power of this vape.

3. Don't go in too deep with the lighter flame , you will combust.

I've discovered that I love the Daisy even more without the wooden mouthpiece. I'll use it once in a while I'm sure, but without it it's even easier to see the vapor in the glass path, and it makes it a little bit smaller in size, too.

This is such a special vaporizer. I want to find a custom wood that I fall in love with, and have triihouse make one special. Just for special occasions :D Time to go hunting!
