butane im sure..but it looks like material in the glass tube..if u heated before u put material in then it would burn fingers..and would be odd to heat the glass on the sides with the material already loaded..we need answers...lol

This is exactly what im thinking.

At first i was wondering if there was something similar to a health stone/vapor stone in the glass tube... Maybe you load the glass stem, slide in one of those stone things and then light and hit....

No idea really :hmm:

Watching the video I thought that was weed in the glass but it looks gray. I think this might be some kinda heat retaining material and the load is placed in the wooden part. That way you can heat it and then use it without the torch in your face and it might even out the heat as well avoiding combustion.

But I'm guessing . . . :shrug:

Either that or it is weed and you heat the glass from the outside and then hit it while the torch is off.

I dunno . . .

Could be something like this, maybe even some sort of crafty style liquid pad :shrug: I think when I zoom in it looks like something is in the opening of the tube before the herb but can't tell, also it looks like his little finger is touching the glass in the vid :hmm: so maybe not too hot.

I wanna know :rant: I wanna know now and I wanna know everything, I feel like I'm 5yr old and I know it's Xmas soon but nobody will tell me when :lol:

And on a Daisy note, I cleaned mine for the first time (clean the glass every day but that's it) and damn did it need a clean out, the connecting tube was almost blocked and the screen and underneath it was crazy full will post some pics when I get a chance, and I found a great stirring tool that has its own little storage place in Daisy will post pics of this also.

I'm going to guess that you heat the glass, but not through the opening sort of like the ubie. With air coming in the intake, would this be a hybrid heating style like haze with cans or arizer products?

I'm still mystified

Interesting theories you guys. If you look at this pic from their Instagram acct, you can see a screen in the glass tube. I'm as curious as you guys, we have a hint this is a conduction vape, but yeah how's Tommy making those cool smoke rings in the video?

from that video it looked as though Tommy got 2 hits after the initial heating. That's impressive for this type of vape

I guess I can see it taking a while for that glass to cool down encased in wood. Im thinking it's method is heating the glass

Is it me or does the screen apear to be square shaped?

Maybe the screen fits behind the glass stem?

I wonder if it works kind of like MFLB? Maybe you load your herb into a screen cage/basket, the mesh heats up (conduction), and the glass is there to keep from burning your fingers?

I think it's gonna be more simple than some are suggesting. I'd guess you take the glass stem out, load herb into the bottom of the glass stem, replace and then use the butane to light the outside of the glass. On a small glass stem I bet it'd heat up pretty evenly, especially if you use a touch at the end and the heat has to dissipate to the herb.

In this picture from their Igram, (press control and scroll to zoom min or out), you can see a "mass" in the end of the glass tube, could be the screen, perhaps the herb itself, or maybe the heating element people were guessing about. Also, I think this is the first shot showing the pee pee hole er, I mean vapor exit where you suck (it's quite small).

It's ready to see. Not sure I like heating the outside of the stem since I'm one of the very few who is a vapman failure.
