Roger, I can understand. It weighs quite a lot. I think the puck that it makes is a nice size though, I was able to press 3.5g not super tightly into a cylinder to test on a pressing using dp-rp257 pro.
Regarding dp-rp257 pro -
Holy shit folks, this is a crazy rosin press. Quad plates. It feels more indestructible than the dp-rp37 which I didnt think was possible. I did an unboxing video which I think I need to do a video review, but for now, I only have time to share with you a squish.
This is pressing 2x 3.5g pre-pressed pucks in 160u rosin filters using the included magnetic alignment jig dp-mj257. I think the video will be pretty clear how it works, it was very simple. The biggest issue with these larger presses is the heatup times. I only have 2 heaters as this is the first release of this product, the upcoming release has 4 heaters. Either way it only slowed down the heat-up times, the pressing was on point.
As you can see, the alignment jig almost feels necessary with this press otherwise you need access to both sides of the press and a 2nd person to keep the puck in position.
