Looks great @invertedisdead ! Love the lemon yellow color as well Making me wanna break out the water hash bags again
That reminds me of some of the best "tartelettes aux citrons" fillings I ever ate. That looks so tasty.Super Lemon Haze dry ice sift rosin, pressed at 155F on a 6 ton Dabpress!
The only thing you did not say you tried was less pressure and or time, other than that you have tried what I would have and then some (I don't have 25au bags).
Yes, you can repress but your final hotter higher pressure product will have even more impurities than the rosin you have already got out...I like the 'chirpier' higher temp/press stuff for a change from the butters.Would it be possible to re-press maybe?
Is double packing recommended? did read and saw videos where they are recommending... @LesPlenty if you apply slowly pressure you do not need it and how much pressure should I apply have the 10 ton press it would be nice if dabpress could provide a calculator for pressure... or how is the formula?@SickVape Thanks for posting the year end promo! It's should help a lot of rosineers save money during the holidays!

When double bagging and pressing hash you want the 25-37u filter placed inside a larger filter like 120-160 microns. Press it slow and be gentle when applying pressure.
First timer dry sifting. I got 11g of the most excellent sift from 60g of flower, it must be good as it sticks to itself at -10c in my garage!!
Question is what's the best method to press?
I have 90u and 37u bags and the 3 ton press so no gauge.
@btka for the 10-ton unit you have to figure out your puck size surface area, then determine the PSI you want on the material itself. Then all you gotta do is take the total pressure needed / 2.25 = pressure required on gauge.
Ex. 2x2" puck is 4 sq/in, if we are pressing hash and want 500 PSI as the maximum pressure on the material, you need about 2000 lbs in total (1 ton). So 2000/2.25 = 888 PSI reading on gauge
Smaller pucks than that I dont think I would bother trying to get the pressure right just go by feel and follow @invertedisdead recommendation, you cant go wrong that way.
thank you...
but how do I know how much psi I want on the material ... or is 500 psi on material recommended for (bubble) hash? and BTW then how much psi on material is recommended for flower...
