I've never had much luck telling people what to do. Do yourself a favour and give a listen to The Band. I was in Vancouver for a few months in 1983 but didn't see this concert. I wish I had.
Edit: This video may not be as good since I came down, but they were still a great band. :)
No, I take that back, still a great concert.

  • A Moog synthesizer
  • A classically-trained jazz pianist
  • An obsession with, and mastery of, altered/symmetrical scales
  • A drummer who understands the nature and essence of time in such a way as none others have before him (with the exception perhaps of Plato)
What's not to love?

This is the closest I've come to feeling as though I am riding a magic carpet.
