I just spent a weekend with the Pinky Puff water pipe that i got my gf for her birthay some time ago and it is flawless. I wasnt happy with what we got at first and the replacement had a kink too,but 3rd time was the charm ! Looks so great on the shelf at my gfs place. The piece i bought was heavily discounted at 50 euro . When you read on someones site "customer satisfaction above all" you think it is just some slogan and sales talk,but when you have your item replaced 2 times with international shipping on seller expense, that together is more costly than the item itself you realize it not just talk,but reality. Forgot to mention they let us keep all 3 of them and they make an awesome ornament to the room.
Also they are super correct and deduct\ VAT for out of EU purchases,which is something we have yet to see from a US/Out of EU vendor.,we just get the rod twice paying double taxes adding also VAT on the VAT/Sales tax,rofl. 120%*120% = 144%

Not sure it can be evaluated by looking at the color though, there are a lot of factors, what voltage are you set at and how are you drawing on it?

Also by the way, you can quote messages, and insert them, reply all in one message with a post, instead of posting back to back

I think it may be 'showing' now, if indirectly.

I (unwisely?) use Google Drive and they make it difficult to do direct links. When I try to use the forum Image tool, I get an error that the image cannot be linked.

The temperature voltage is currently set at 11.4-11.6 (it varies). I fill the ball to about 1/3 of capacity and take deep if slow tokes (I have huge lungs). After 3 or 4 tokes I remove the ball and stir. 3 or 4 more and it feels like its done. ^L^

Yeah I still cannot see it, but that is on the high end to me, but it depends when you got it what style and such, but I take very fast quick reps on the higher level, to avoid hotspot scorching... Sounds like it's working well for you though so I don't think you're doing anything wrong! AVB color be damned

Please learn to share pics and share a shot of the ball filled to 1/3 capacity! I would love to see that.

I set my VB to 11.6V when I first turn it on knowing it'll drop to 11V by the time it's warmed up. I only vape a tenth or two at a time in three or four big hits.

Not found. You know you don't have to sign up for anything to share images right? It's pretty easy to test in the sandbox thread. Especially if you use your browser private window feature (incognito in Chrome).

I recently bought the Aromatizer and my dry herb has been combusting a few times.
Any advice? Is it supposed to be this tricky to use? I'm only adding a small amount of herb
and the voltage is set to 10.

@sweerpotato which model do you have? I would just try turning down the voltage and working your way back up slowly. Maybe drop it down to 9 and see how it performs. Don't load past the rim and maybe speed up your draw a bit if you happen to be drawing super slow?

I've never combusted with my classic. Never even came particularly close. It should not be difficult to avoid combustion with this vape. If you're still having issues after lowering the voltage maybe hit up Collyland for advice?

yea, here is some advice (from classic aromatizer user):

1. temperature matters less than the draw speed (i can do almost the same extraction when pulling slow with low voltage and pulling fast with high voltage)
2. best extraction happens with 0.15-0.20 (approx. the amount that is need to fill the circle with the screen to top, so not going above)
3. experiment more with draw duration and draw intensity than with voltage settings (do a 12V heatup for 15mins, then lower it to ~10V)
4. try different grinds => finer grind = more vapour, less taste (last shorter, more extraction per pull) / coarser grind = less vapour more taste (lasts longer and you can crush it to fine after few pulls )
5. count your inhale duration (i do 4-8 second pulls) until you merge souls with your aromatizer and know it by heart
6. try hitting an empty bowl (which is "dirty" from leftovers) for extended duration just to notice how much is left even after no more herb is there

I personally combusted 2 times (1st as a newbie with a dream, 2nd time high as fuck not checking the voltage that was on max and pulling long)

Now i feel i know how the unit breathes and theres no way to combust once you understand how the heat travels through the unit

I don’t say this to be a jerk, only to underline the point, driven home for posterities sake. There is no rhyme or reason to their drops. Full stop.

Just like a particularly lovely cloud formation in the sky, or a breathtaking sunset - you can’t generally anticipate when they’ll occur. What they make, and when they make it, is largely random.

When you don’t own one, it’s annoying. When you do own one, you can be zen like in the wait, until you see another piece that speaks to you. When something catches your eye enough, jump - cause you snooze, you lose on these.

I had a terrible first experience with mine combusting (my fault), but have grown to appreciate it, and if I see another one that really catches my eye, I may just bite on a second more wild art edition, more for the art, than the vaporizer. It’s weird, the looks/art at first didn’t wow me, but they really do grow on you.

Lately I only turn it off at night, and every morning I dump and brush with a little baking soda
before rinsing and refilling with cranberry extract added to the mix.
This seems to keep everything squeaky clean for my flashlight inspection.
I'm stuck at 10.0 to 10.4 and the clouds just keep coming.
It is so reliable and steady that it is almost boring.

Ah so we like cranberry extract for Collyland pieces too? I have some for my bubbler but haven't been in the habit of using it with my VB or OAB
