This. I upped mine to 11.1(even .3 sometimes) for small loads and get some crazy fast rips too, no combustion with mine at all yet......It's interesting to see everyone's settings and the variables that could be at play individually.

There's a billion ways to use this thing. But, it's amazing how easy it is to get consistent results.

My last bowl was interesting. 0.5 gr of ground herb, 9.76, no water, carb plugged, with a whip. I went against practical wisdom and did long slow sips. And I mean sips. Just regular breathing. In the mouth out the nose. A nice long 8-10 second lung expanding inhale with a fully empyting exhale. Never a deep pull or a blowing exhale.

I just did regular breathing thru the whip as I would pull the ball stir and reinsert. The vapor filled the unit and the line so thoroughly that I never stopped breathing in vapor - it was unreal. I wish I had timed it. It seemed to last forever. I was sitting here literally breathing vapor for several minutes. I think it was the relatively low temp coupled with a huge wad of herb and no spikes of high heat due to deep draws.

I grinded a lot more flower than usual today. Forgot that I still had lots from yesterday. So I decided that today is a special day and warrants the extra consumption. Day 2 with the bandit was night and day from day 1... hard to describe but this is a really awesome vape, to put it extremely simply. Such amazing hits....without launching into a tirade, if anybody is sitting on the fence, just go for it.

You can get vapor in 2 or 3 seconds if you bump the heat up and want to rip it like a bong. I like a 4 second draw lately but with tictac sized chunks, not ground. I don't like grinding with the VB anymore.

I could definitely see that. These things are powerful. If I pull too fast even with the water on the lower side I get a mouthful of water it seems so I'll have to do some more experimentation. Looking forward to trying that chunk method too, that sounds interesting

Definitely very interesting, things seem to vary significantly from piece to piece and also playing around with it, pretty cool to see how changing your draw speed changes the effect on the flower. No matter how fast I drew, I think anything above 10.2 ish or so for me would be approaching char-levels if not combustion. I'll eventually start pushing the limits but last night I was getting really nicely colored avb in the 9.8 range and pretty happy there.

I wouldn't recommend metal poker tools, I use one and Im seeing chips and places in the ceramic. Going to get some bamboo skewers and use them going forward

I only use mine inside the screen, never on the ceramic in the bowl.

Also, Air duster is your friend for clearing bowls out.

No duster for me, that's some poisonous shizz... Besides, they taint it with bittering agents to prevent huffing. I don't want any of that in with my herb screwing up the flavor.

The Body. I haven't had to clean my bowl since I switched to cutting my bud rather than grinding and after I'm done with a bowl I empty the bud and wipe the inside of the bowl with a square of toilet paper. I use my VB everyday and I haven't cleaned my bowl beyond that in about a week and a half.
I got a bottle brush to do a deep clean on the body. This vape is very low maintenance...
PS. In regards to the bowl, you may have to pop out the screen and use a folded piece of paper to clear any scooby snacks from that groove

Awesome thank you. Seems very low maintenance, especially if you keep on top of it. Simple rinses and wipe downs are easy enough

How so? Unless you are sucking on a can like Steve-O, it immediately evaporates.

Sold my FP because my dogs and my 6 year old running around.
Waiting for OAB to arrive, hope it’s a good alternative..
