What is your experience with voltage setting adjustments? Do you set it and forget it or change it?

I turned mine down from 10.4ish to 9.7ish. Massively different.

It's really amazing how much this seemingly tiny adjustment changes the experience. I'm using a whip and at the higher setting it was difficult to avoid combustion with deep draws. Flavor was intense but only for the first few hits. Flavor was gone before vapor production stopped. AVB looked like there was a bit more left. And I could see hot spots in the early cycles.

Once it was turned down I can draw as hard as I can and zero combustion. The flavor builds slowly and lasts all the way thru. AVB is completely toasted without any hot spots and I think it makes the session last longer.

Interesting that at the lower temp it extracted more thoroughly. Just for shits and giggles try turning yours down and see what happens. I'm very happy I did. Cheers.

It belongs in any collection. All aesthetics aside. I was holding out because of owning so many desktops, but now that I own one, I realize my folly.

It is normal, you got charged with VAT . We get the same thing when ordering from UK ,Brexit is awesome.

Yea I can accept vat and customs charge , just think that the 'clearance fee' at twice the price of customs is somewhat excessive !!

I'm at the same Voltage and it's perfect for me this way. It's also more forgiving, you can hit it any way you like.

I don't mind very much but took the Bandit because it is more convenient for where he's sitting. After a few days with it I kinda only admire the damn thing for it's looks. The glaze really shines, they do a great job with these vapes. It's unique. Is it a dick? No - it's ART.

To all my UK and EU brethren. I hope all gets sorted out with shipping and payments. Just be assured that when you get it... all negatives will be forgotten.

Side note. I just got a really accurate scale - accurate to 0.000gr. It's pretty cool comparing different maximum loads between devices.

My previous vaping method (Dynavap) has a maximum load of 0.10 to maybe 0.15. The VB can easily handle 10 times that much in one bowl. I got the VB to use more cannabis less often. It's working!

Edit:adding @Noah0608 looking good. That is strikingly beautiful. I saw it sitting next to your Volcano and the glaze being Obsidian. Name suggestion: Vulkanglas - that's German for 'volcanic glass' which is what obsidian is. Think of it... "me and Vulkanglas will be unavailable for the rest of the afternoon. We're going deep into the volcano"

Yeah ! That's why i hate DHL and Fedex, UPS their rates for customs clearance are insane. If you order something from China at 10$ with 15$ DHL shipping . You get charged 30$ with VAT and they tax you another 30$ for representing you ,Fedex and UPS charge even more,translation fees , all sorts of fees. The best thing is that when you try to do it yourself, it gonna end more expensive you have to do 20km drives cause customs are in the edge of the city and one of coolest thing is that that you need to make copes of some documents and there is a small booth outside the building where is only copy machine in 20km radius and they charge 5 euro for one side, 9 euro for two sides ...Forgot to say that they also have a translator booth where they charge per word which ended at 30euro for translation from Chinese.
In the end i just stopped ordering with those carriers outside the EU. They are clearly in cahoots with local customs.

Just to update here since you mentioned it, Daniel replied first thing in the morning their time, that they could refund me or make it again for the April batch! Not at all surprised by the great customer service for a quick and easy resolution, just more time for me to wait, but yeah easier to do when I still have my plum jelly bandit of course!

(Also floated another idea in my reply btw, so we'll see what @AoV Daniel & @Jaxel think about that... Again many thanks to you both for some phenomenal work! That is what makes this so sad, having this poor beautiful bandit that cannot fulfill its purpose)
