vaped.
Yeah the glaze was "overheated" in the kiln for the ones below, but I actually might even prefer this look for the cap mint and ori orange...

This last one already sold out, easily would have been my choice if it was still available, also if I could justify getting another one so soon! I am really into the blue that these browns turn into when fired for too long apparently (and that crazy streaky natural drip pattern! interesting how the blue azure actually became less color streaky than usual when it was overheated lol)

They also have a koi pond with glaze bubbles and a lady bug with glaze holes b stocks avail.
i liked the same one you did. and so did someone else! if i didnt have a woodland fantasy and night sky (actually the same one on the website, must be they took pics before sending) i would have grabbed it last night. lol

Oh wow, wish I could justify a second one even, I really like that Night Sky glaze (there are a few other new glazes in the classics section now, nice Tree Frog one and an Orange for example) but I settled for my Woodland Fantasy since the price was right and I was able to have it sooner... Some day I hope to shell out for a custom design, but I don't know how I will ever decide on the glaze!

Holy shit. I love that Oriental Orange one at the end as well. They should make more of those on purpose! I like that one better than all their current normal colors/patterns.

I too liked that oriental orange b-stock. Almost looked like the oxyd one.

Hopefully I'll add one of these to my arsenal in the relatively near future! Enjoy your works of art!

There is an obsidian in the classic section as well that looks a lot like a smooth oxyd one btw

It's definitley an artisan vape that takes some getting used to and you need to learn how to best use it as each unit is unique.
Nice video! Have you tried cupping the right testicle as well as the left for different results?

I might also get that looked at asap. The right ball looks swollen and much bigger than the left. Not good. :(

Ha! just to be clear, DO NOT cup the left ball, that would be a quick way to burn your entire hand...

I just ordered an obsidian one and I can't wait to have it in my hand, it look so good. I love artisan vape and it's nice to have one that is not made of wood or glass. I'm looking forward to use it since it's different than the other vapes. On the plus side I already have years of experience cupping my own balls, never knew it would be useful for vaping! :brow:

Almost there...
Sunday's are for VapBonging all day long!
I cleaned the Koi Pond this morning and turned her to 11! Actually 10.6...lol!!

Came back to check on the fish and the voltage had dropped to 9,5. The fish loom d hungry, so I gave them a bit of a boost back to 10,5. Once warmed up, the pond always seems to drop a bit and needs a bit of a nudge.
After this she purrs at 10,5 and may drop 0,1 so not a big deal.

Effortless pull huge, tasty clouds!
After a stir, rehit for more fun.
A few more hits will finish it off nicely.

A new favourite thing to do is to then pack the AVB down a bit and add some kief on top.
One massively tasty cloud with profound effects!!

This vape is being reserved for weekend use as it requires a nice heat soaking.
I definitely look forward to using it every time!!!

Thanks @androponic for the heads up on the B-stock sale. I recently looked into the Vapbong and coincidentally, the latest comment for desktop vapes was in the vapbong thread when I logged on that day so I clicked it from the front page and saw the sale comment. I hemmed and hawed for 15 minutes over which one to choose. Alas, my problem solving skills aren't the sharpest when it comes to vapes unfortunately so pulled the trigger on the koi pond and blue azure to avoid having to decide at that moment...SMH.

My Vapbongs arrived this Thursday which was the 19th business day after placing my order and I am located in CST in the US. Given the distance and the current logistic issues caused by the pandemic, that's good. Only gripe would be the spotty and uninformative scans as it traveled from Germany to the US but given the end result, I can't complain and it's certainly not a knock against AOV. It was packed extremely well and declared accurately. I have only opened up one which I presume to be the koi pond based on pics posted here of the b-stock units.

The glazing is smooth and there aren't any pronounced flaws on this b-stock unit. The colors just didn't turn out as it should have. That said, I really like the look of this unit. Although its considered a b-stock, I don't see it that way. It's a limited edition...LOL. There have been only two devices that my wife has said "oooh...that's pretty". That happened here and with the Nomad. I am fan of supporting the smaller artisan makers and this is right up my alley. The maker seems super cool and I like that each piece is unique. The Vapbong is substantial in size and weight compared to my other desktops as well. Much heavier than I expected for some reason. This could be a deal killer for some but I love it. Given the weight of this device, shipping was actually quite reasonable.

I've left mine on since Thursday night and currently running it at 12. I don't think I could produce much vapor at 10 but I don't need more power than what 12 gives so it doesn't bother me. I might continue to inch my way lower as I experiment with this more. My avb is a nice caramel color and very even as well. I use very small loads. Essentially just enough to cover the screen and not any more. I fully extract in 4-5 draws with the last being just a wisp. Also, the effects of just using this device is much headier it seems as well. Pretty much pure convection.

Using the Vapbong seems so effortless that it's dangerous. It's so smooth that chain hitting this would be too easy. Very open airflow and once you understand the appropriate water level, this thing chugs perfectly. I am typically adverse to using water in my glass due to the loss in flavor so I was very surprised at the flavor that this thing produces with water and I don't think it could work as well without water either. Superb flavor with this device. It's very pure. Not just the first pull either which is largely expected from premium devices now. But I'm surprised at how long it can sustain that flavor. As a flavor chaser, this is a big mark in the win column for me. I am having so much fun with this that its been the only device I've used since getting it which is quite rare for me as I like to mix it up.

Now knowing that the Vapbong works well for my use case, I am thinking that a custom might be on the horizon for me at some point or maybe just a nice "art" Vapbong. Either way, I'm really glad that I stumbled on this vape. If you have the space for it, its definitely worthy of a place in any rotation IMO. The form factor, exposed heating element and slight awkwardness of loading bowls are the only downsides that I can currently thinking of albeit I haven't had too much time with it yet. Thanks to everyone who has contributed to this thread so far...I read back a bit and your advice and opinions that really made my choice easier. It's far too early to make any calls right now, but the experience has been positive enough thus far that this has potential to be the top desktop in my rotation. Either way, this needs more exposure and I believe that a certain retailer that is known for carrying vapes like this is currently making an effort.

Look forward to experimenting with this more and hearing from other users. Thanks again and Cheers!

Nice! Glad you got them okay!

The one in your picture is actually the blue azure btw, koi pond is a darker more solid blue with green and orange specks... I thought you got the overcooked blue azure (so it looks a little lighter and more green, but still have some of that streaky blue on the side) and the overcooked cappuccino that brought some blue and brown into the dark cream color and specks... Unless I am misremembering what you told me when you ordered them! The 2 b stocks left

Edit: looking at my own photos above, I guess the blue azure in your pic is a standard one? color doesn't look as faded as the one I posted from the site... Hmmm

Anyway enjoy, looking forward to more photos

I got my Vapbong this morning and I'm really happy. This thing is beautiful and a certified work of art. I got the obsidian one and it's perfect. I can't wait to try it out. Don't worry I will post some photos as soon as I finish to clean my operation table and the lab.

But first I need to clean it, do you guys have any tips for the cleaning of the Vapbong, since there's electric parts inside I don't want to fry the heater or worst damage the finish on the bong with the wrong kind of cleaner.

Cleaning is all done with the bowl and inside the device and remarkably easy to clean as far as bubblers go. Use iso or a citrus cleaner and swish it around for a few minutes, empty, rinse, and you're all good! Personally, I'm going to mostly forego cleaning and 'season' the device :)

Yeah with ceramic it is super simple, hot water may be all you need! You can try a little dish soap or iso mixed in when you are doing a deep cleaning after a lot of heavy use though, wiping down with towels as well. My biggest tip for cleaning is to just do it carefully, the water chamber and vapor path sections are separate from the electronics, so just hold it in a way that they won't get splashed when you rinse. For filling up with water for use, best to use a little cup and fill slow carefully, it should hold about 3/4 of a cup, use a light to see the water in the downstem to get a sense of the level, and keep test hitting it for the bubbling. Enjoy and yeah share those pics! :whip:

Thanks for the tips, I will clean it tomorrow and give it a test run. Nice to know it's simple to clean, I already try to clean my stuff after a couple of use just to be sure it will be easier and faster to do, so if the ceramic is easy to clean that's a plus in my book. As for the photos I will do that this weekend, I received a lot of orders this week and need to sort this out, the problem with VAS is that you eventually run out of space to put your stuff. In the case of the Vapbong I have no idea where to put it, it's so beautiful I want to leave it out to decorate the room but I'm scared I will break it. Anyway I will try to post the photos of the Vapbong before @Shit Snacks looses patience and starts to use this emoji :goon:

You need to buy your vapes some furniture of their own.

I can definitely see why you'd think its blue azure. It looks very similar to the stock unit on the site but just nothing like the one that was pictured during the sale. Regardless of what it officially is, I really like mine. If its truly a b-stock, I honestly can't tell. I still haven't opened my second unit but when I do, I'll take pics and report back.

I use a S&B brush to help clear the screen and every once in a while and I will blow through the screen from the outside to clear the edges. Given the smooth nature of the bowl, I find this to be rather easy. For the downstem, I just take a paper towel and wipe down the inside every once in a while. Since its glazed, its a relatively easy task. I use a citrus based cleaner for all of my glass and have used it once for the Vapbong. I used less than a 1/4 cup and just swirled around for a bit and rinsed out with hot water. I didn't do this because I felt it was necessary but because I believe it will make general maintenance easier.

As with any water piece, the water level can greatly affect function. The issue with the Vapbong is that its obviously opaque which means that you need to shine a light down the downstem to gauge water level. It obviously needs to cover the percs but how much over depends on personal preference imo. I played around until I felt that I had achieved the optimal water level for my draw speed and typical temp. I then dumped that water out into an empty plastic non-disposable cup and marked the water level on the inside with a sharpie. I keep that cup filled at the right level in the fridge at all times and it definitely makes life a little easier as I change my water out pretty frequently. Is it necessary? Probably not but I'm OCD with my gear and I've been honeymooning pretty hard so its gotten a fair amount of use since I've received it.
