Is anyone clued up as to what the taper diameters on the FC-Mod are? Would like to get a whip for mine, but it hasn't arrived yet.... Cheers!
Thanks buddy , i was going to pm you but it seems you gave us all some good info. I sent him a message on reddit , waiting to here back even though i had just ordered my self a new piece the other day.Hey guys, I got a lot of PMs in regard to a post I made about cheap American options for worked glass. Almost all low price-range American glass is oil-focused, so mini tubes are what's out there. That said, I think that minitubes can pair very well with vaporizers if you're okay with whips and have the right adapters. I really enjoy holding a very small piece of glass in my hand that acts as a water-cooler more than a bong--and since most minitubes are optimized for dabs, you can take dab-sized hits of vapor in full flavor!
@twistedimageglass on Instagram is my favorite option for cheap glass. You can contact him through there, and he does custom work AMAZINGLY cheap, like so cheap that it's hard to believe. I won't speak to specific prices on that, because it's up to him. But he posts on Reddit with sales often, and the stuff on there is always absurdly low priced for solid-quality American glass:

I mean, he has this full-color red elvis piece listed at 100$. Are you kidding me?? Mouthpiece is a bit wonky but this type of glass with those mibs is an easy 300-400 at any LHS I've ever been in.
Anyways, just wanted to share a great "cheap bubbler" option for those who like style and American glass. I believe @Cannabis Connoisseur @Justpassedu were interested specifically
Edit: This one is only 120. Might scoop it this week if no one else does.
My FTK after about a month of use with the 710 whip... ya think maybe i need a claim catcher?
He makes really pretty pieces and id love to own more, but unfortunately there are some quality issues in my experience. I ordered and received a pendant with an implosion marble that had cracked after one day. I was told by a local glass blower that it was due to the cooling rates of the glasses being different, he admitted this to me and said it was not my fault. I was originally told i could send it back for repair but later i was told not to since it was used (I would have cleaned it before shipping obviously) and he would have to smash it upon receiving it, due to the states laws being strict and not wanting to jeopardize his business, which sort of makes sense. The cracked marble doesnt effect the function of the piece.. it just looks unsightly. What bothered me most was that it didnt seem like he wanted to stand behind his product or make any attempt to make it right.Hey guys, I got a lot of PMs in regard to a post I made about cheap American options for worked glass. Well, definitely order with caution, then! I'm sorry. I hope he makes it right, he seemed very nice. I really like that pendy rig, hope it's made right. Also, I don't really think anyone gets in trouble for resin-y rigs in the mail so I definitely feel your pain. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's a lame excuse on his part even though I know it is the industry standard. ISO wash is enough for sure.He makes really pretty pieces and id love to own more, but unfortunately there are some quality issues in my experience. i ordered when he first started selling on reddit, he made his IG shortly after that. I havent contacted him in months and kind of just forgot about it until i saw you post some of his work. No hope of it being made right, but i agree it seemed like a lame excuse.Well, definitely order with caution, then! I'm sorry. I hope he makes it right, he seemed very nice. How would you get that oil out? Kinda heat the hell out of it at the bend and drip it out?

Heat up some Everclear, dump it in, i will dissolve the oil on contact, evaporate the Everclear.. RECLAIM!
I used warm 151 (heated bottle under hot sink) before i got a dropdown as i use Cranberry Extract. it a pain to get off of the tube, its also a pain to pick your ass up off the floor when you have a whole shot. Ill bet you still have 1000mg+ in that tube, if you get that to break down, it will fuck up 10 average tolerance people uncomfortably. (lol i eat 200mg hifi bars all the time, but others are very sensitive) If i did it again, I would mix it into a large jungle juice type of thing and warn a cannabis patient party taht it was dosed lol. The taste of the 151 is far worse than the reclaim. My FTK after about a month of use with the 710 whip... ya think maybe i need a claim catcher?
Wait, so you make concentrate booze? Never heard of such a thing, pardon my being a noob on that. With my low tolerance, I would likely wake up in a dumpster somewhere after consuming such a thing.
This...although it does take longer than you would think to dissolve
OK, I know I have posted about this little cheap Chinese rig from Glass Artist before, but my girlfriend just surprised me with a weekend cabin in the woods and told me to pack my travel enail and rig! I forgot how much I like this little banger hanger. I ordered it when I was looking for a rig to fit in this Pelican case Travel enail. Thios at 7.4" is a perfect fit. Perfect with the 16mm Liger V2.0 too. It's definitely worth the purchase if you need a 14mm female banger hanger.

Well saidHi there, this is the artist who made the piece you are talking about and a few folks mentioned this thread to me today so I just wanted to chime in - I'll start by saying thank you for buying something from me and I apologize you still have to deal with a cracked piece. I started blowing glass late in 2013 and I think this piece was my first or second pendy rig I ever made, made within my first year (?) and I've never defended things I didn't do right. It was my ignorant choice of color that caused the problem to begin with - I've since learned it is very prone to cracking in deep encasement so I rarely even use it anymore. I still consider myself a beginner who has something to learn from anyone else working behind a torch but I'm getting better every day!
The reason I'm posting is because I disagree with how you said I handled the issue. I wanted to get that cleared up and hopefully still resolve your issue, if you want it resolved. It's very hard to search for messages that are this old on reddit so I'm doing this from memory...
My state only decriminalized paraphernalia about a month ago so I've always been VERY cautious about repairs coming back. I live less than 30 miles from DC, attention is paid to the mail around here. I tell people that they need to be absolutely spotless because if something goes wrong BOTH of our addresses are on the box and we BOTH could get in trouble. Plus, repairing a dirty piece is a stinky pain to deal with in any state.
Many glassblowers will charge a cleaning fee if something comes back dirty and I've never done that so I would certainly never smash something AFTER it has arrived here safely... what would be the point???
I offered several options (again, correct me if I'm wrong here - it's been a while)...
The option to clean it and return it for a full refund
...or clean it and return it for repair (with all expenses paid by me)
...or, because it was cosmetic only and didn't impact the function of the piece I also offered that you could keep it as-is for a partial refund
...or if you just didn't want to deal with the hassle of returning it and just wanted your money back you could smash it and send me a photo for a full refund.
I still feel that those options are fair and they are still all available to you but like you mentioned above - you never got back to me to let me know how you want to proceed.
I've had more sales on /EntExchange than any other Reddit user and can count on one hand the number of refunds I've had to give - or repairs I've had to do for things that were my fault but I always stand by my work and have always made it right. I feel comfortable saying I've got the sales history on reddit, and now growing on facebook, to confirm that.
Sorry for the long-winded message but I hope this addresses your concerns that I DO stand by my work and I DID attempt to make it right - and those offers still stand today so again, I apologize for the trouble and if you are interested please contact me on Instagram because I probably won't check this account as often and want to make sure I get back to you ASAP.
I hope this addresses your concerns that I DO stand behind my work and DID try to make it right - and still will, if you are interested.

Well said I agree , I pm'ed you on reddit a few times only heard back once , please check inbox bc I'd possibly like a piece to show off .Hi there, this is the artist who made the piece you are talking about and a few folks mentioned this thread to me today so I just wanted to chime in - I'll start by saying thank you for buying something from me and I apologize you still have to deal with a cracked piece.
