Just noticed my order has been updated to dispatched from sorting depot today, ordered on the 8th, so two weeks tomorrow and it hasn't left china yet. Last one took 10 days total, i guess they are busy with xmas.

I like to hi
I ordered my peyote pillar perc of dh gate. Big fan! Even if it's not true boro it's some quality glass. Me and all my friends prefer it to my mobius matrix and rokman double chamber.

I was unhappy enough with my gline to imperial (just more of a combustion piece all around) so I'm gonna try to sell that locally and I ordered a FTK from Steven. Hopefully it arrives. Intact.

I'm looking to pick up some new glass.

I have a FC-UFO from Steven, and I really like that piece! However, I kinda would like something a tad smaller.

I really dig the removable mouthpiece deal and fairly often use a whip mouthpiece so that I can keep seated on the couch or watch my bubbler fog out!

In addition I am looking for a hydratube that I can use with my EVO, ascent, and Herbalizer (using @Ratchett's Herbie song!).

I would love to find a piece that accommodates some of those features.

Damn you, party liquor
Just a quick FYI. I did the canola oil test on the FC-710. Forgive the water bubbles from the second time I turned it up. I forgot to snap a pic the first time and then rinsed the piece out and said I shoulda took a picture...went to do it again and dumped water in the oil. :bang:
Oh well.
If you believe the science in the video above, and for some silly reason I do:p, the FC-710 is boro glass

Here is the neck of the FC-710 dunked into some water tainted oil but you get the idea... The whole end of the mouthpiece disappears. Pretty cool actually.

The Cobra Can, due out soon, will work natively with a hydratube, whip, or regular mouthpiece. The only one of your criteria it doesn't meet is being very small- it will be about 8 inches wide and 5 inches tall. The upside is that it will be super stable and able to support the evo without a problem.

@alltoreup

Thank you for being the first to carry out the experiment, and share results!

Hey man,
I got the FC-Mod without the ashcatch from Steven for under $40 bc I wanted a circ perc showerhead that I could put my HydraTree on. It also came with a dry 18mm female mouthpiece, perfect for Evo Lily and other vapes Im sure. Anyway the perc and the can are much smaller than the UFO, though it is actually a bit tall and narrow. Treating me very well so far... He also has Matrix percs

I think new glass takes a lot longer, they might not even be done with all the pieces. I ordered the FC-201 and the FC-205 on the 19th and 20th and I have tracking for both, it also says "despatched" from sorting center lol that was on the 21st.

I think Can vapes were also called rattle cans, where a ball/chamber rattles when used.
Is the Cobra Can a rattle can?

I'm hoping not as I really don't want to advertise to my wife that I'm vaping ;)

I'm sure you'll post pics when it's out--thank ahead of time.
Will Cobra Can be a flavor chaser piece, minimal diffusion or ??

Would you mind posting up a pic? What you're describing sounds pretty sweet!

Anyone have experience with the QG-13 Mothership Tornado Recycler from sunshinestore on DHGate? Does the cone swirl water smoothly like a toilet, or is it like taking roundhouse kicks to the mouth from Chug Norris? Any comments on taste? I am looking to pair it with an EpicVape E-nano.
I actually just got this in on the 21st. It only took 11 days to get to the Midwest. It does vortex well. The draw is pretty smooth. The finish is good. Some tiny bubbles in the base of the piece nbd. The neck is somewhat off center but it is negligible and really not that bad, it gives it character. The taste is pretty good. I don't have a whole lot of glass and I bought this to use with my-hopefully- soon to come grasshopper. I like this piece a lot. I don't have a lot of experience with glass reviewing i.e. lingo and I don't have a lot of pieces to compare it to, but if anyone has any specific questions I failed to answer I would be happy to try and answer them. I don't have videos or pics either. Sorry.

Sure dude, it is really really nice (only downside is without the wide can like the UFO, you can't see the hit as well, so it can often be bigger than intended! Clearing ELBs too quickly lol). I did post a page or two back the set up with Evo and a glass dome rigged to the whip and Evo, since my actual 18mm female whip adapter didn't come til the next day. I plan to post a new pic with the adapter and all my glass at some point though... Let me know if you can't find that pic or if you'd like to see it another way!

DirtD1V3R, you mention that the flavor is pretty good, but in your admittedly limited experience, how does it compare against similarly priced pieces? Taste is a very important criterium for me.

I understand that you received it a couple days ago, but any indication of the difficulty in cleaning recyclers relative to simple bubblers with a single perculator?

I am undecided between the QG-13 and the venerated D020-D for my first piece to attach to an E-nano.

It doesn't seem like it will be that hard to clean. It doesn't seem to have any crevices that will be hard to get to in the future. I use mine with my arizer q right now and do not combust so I plan on using it for vaping only. The taste is better than a small hisi beaker bong that I have had for a really long time. I can't compare to the d020-d but I can tell you that the bottom perc has 8 holes that are each a little smaller than a 1/4", which I think is bigger than the d020-d's perk holes. What usually makes for a better taste bigger or smaller bubbles?

Edit: I also wanted to add that this piece is relatively easy to "start" in your pull and it is easy to clear also. Sometimes I have experienced a bit of resistance to "start" a piece with certain percs. This is not something I have experienced with this piece.

Edit 2:

I'm not sure if this is how to post a video. I made a quick water test.

The Rattle Can does use the diffusion pump perc, known for its rattle. The amount of rattle seems to vary based on the production. I believe some people have said their FC-710 isn't noisy, but I could be mis-remembering.

Regardless, the Cobra Can design is pretty unique, so there's no way to know exactly how it will behave until it's made. My guess is that it will be a flavor-preserving, minimal diffusion piece, but it should cool the vapor more than a standard pump, due to the much longer perc tube. At the same time, it should be less restrictive than a standard pump perc, since the tubing will be larger in diameter.

As to whether the Cobra Can will be noisy, there's no way to know until it's built.

I'll definitely share additional info as it's made available. Hopefully we'll see real photos and a water test soon!

Wow, the nice vortex in your water test sells the QG-13 way better than the sunshinestore's.
