Heh, he's not alone. I use my simple 4 slit downstem straight tube as a gigantic steamroller too! Works better than my hammerhead/barrel perc oil rig dry that's for sure.

So, I'm having a little trouble with the logic. Are you looking for just a little cooling with no moisture added? Visual cues on vapor status (like using a j-hook w/lotus)? With no CE or even water the glass would collect vapor more easily I would think cleaning might be worse. Just trying to understand what dry glass would give you...
Maybe if using like a steamroller you are collecting the vapor and pulling it deeper by carbing it?

That one passed by a few times already. Think consensus is that it is a fun thing to see, but function wise it is not really good (high drag).
So if this would be your daily piece I would say look for something else.

Right now I'm using a bong capped at the top with a whip,, no water
I wish the UFO had a side car down stem... I relly like the UFO but I think dripping sublimate into the middle of it w/ that perc would get all gummed up..
Anybody got any other idea for cool glass like I see Enricho using on his Sublimator? but in affordable glass?
but I'll probably just get something like this - but I want to know if you think
the down stem on this piece is long enough for the Sub?

I had one, kept it less than 24 hours before I resold it for the price I paid. Requires a MASSIVE pull to get the tornado going. I found my load was cached by the time the vortex action started (and mine was a pretty horrible vortex action).
I think for combustion, it's a cool piece, but for vaping, no thanks

Zero water in my UfO set up too.
I mainly medicate direct draw over using glass for conservation and flavour reasons but I enjoy rips through the UFO with the cloud buddy and Hose.I ve added my own hookah sleeved hose to make the set up easier on the eye
I looked at enricos Sublimator setup with the launch tube back in the day and decided to try glass dry with my logs.the can stays clean longer dry and cooling is ample through the perc.I PBW maybe once a week.its trippy watching vapor form in a can dry.it reacts differently and darts off at angles and becomes quite a show.
the UFO is a nice piece for those big hits.id like to see It made in a smaller version for flavour conservation,say do20 size or even ion size maybe.With the current size You lose flavour but you do make up for that with cooler hits so it evens out.
Ive asked steven to do a smaller size whip model but he wants dimensions diagrams etc and its really just removing a mouthpiece and adding a gong for a hose.
moving along it makes sense to make the UFO can joint for the mouthpiece "male" so the devastator hydratubes coming would work with the UFO .i have female angle hose connectors here and they stay cleaner than the male ones and look just as good
he ll figure it out eventually.

Yes, please! Love the UFO, but would definitely prefer (or at least like the option of) a smaller version.

Yeah I agree perfect for the solo,Vapman etc.hose is easy to share too and doesn't impair flavour,dilutes it a bit yes.

Have you heard of the GB-234 (atomic perc bubbler sometimes)? seems to be what you're looking for, my only concern would be that the tilt on the joint might make it difficult to balance the sublimator, it's already somewhat iffy with my solo

The D-Cycler is a really popular dab rig from DHgate, I use it every day. Has a mouth piece similar to the fc-710 and the joint comes from the side like you wanted.

Can anyone recommend glass for a dbv? I'm wondering if the möbius , toro or other recyclers are a good idea? I want to use it for my dbv and the occasional dab. I'm mainly looking for a consistent performer. Big hits/little hits what do you prefer?

I actually really like the perc! It is just 7 holes ( in a uniform design) and hits really smooth with the slightest of chugs.The simplistic nature of the perc itself really makes this feel like a heady piece. I was afraid I wouldnt like the piece because of the perc but the function is on point!

I've considered Herbalizers whip ($25...) or the VXL silicon whip ($10) but it has no mouth piece...
