It dosn't reach the same level of quality at all, lol, the neck on the dino they posted made me laugh. Real dinos might actually deserve the price. They're gorgeous. You're right though, about the build quality and the level of skill and creativity to make some pieces too. I'm not mad, i just can't even believe it. I thought they would only copy the scientific clear glass. I fear for what might come. I mean, what if they get better blowers, and we have "heady chinese glass"... I just don't like the idea of someone buying a chinese bubbletrap copy, or chinese rettis... That almost scares me. I hate overpriced american pieces, but there is a small market of cheap, well made, neat little pieces when you walk into big headshops. All made local, which explains why their so cheap. I'd hate to see that go away and be replaced with pieces from china, marked up the same way.

Im right there with you on the size of the Torus. Only thing that concerns me now is if it'll function the same proper way with a nail/bowl correctly inserted?..

And yeah now that you mentioned it i noticed the difference in number of slits.. Hmm.. :hmm: maybe because the size/width of the 12" is wider but dont quote me on that..

Just wanted to throw an update out there -

Sunshinestore and Yingmin5 are both sending me a replacement, free of charge (D020 and GB-187). HymanQuartz responded quickly and said he'd do the same if I could send a picture that shows the hole, which is fair enough. The joint is so sloppy that I'm actually not sure that I can get it to show in a picture, but meh.

Try sticking something in the hole. I had a hole in a Steven piece and I put a toothpick in it for the pictures.

I am unfortunately with you on that one. There was a point where I had high hopes because there was so much potential. But now the savings no longer outweigh the stress and time with the issues I've had. No one seems to be giving a damn about QC.

I'll third that. I'm now building up an American glass collection now that I know what I like and want. Though I'm still hesitant to drop over $500 tho. And my En4cer was a deal I couldn't pass up. I don't think I've used a China piece since besides my straight fab, that will soon be replaced with a custom worked straight fab from an American blower.

I received a banger with hook and carb cap from Hymanquartz01. Wasted $30.

The banger is too shallow, the hook is too high and the carb cap is too tall. None of it works together.

Save your money and let's find a vendor that sells products that work together.

Brand new d020 owner here, and my first chinese glass purchase. Very happy with it. Got it from SunshineStore and it arrived in the UK from China within a week (5 days!)! Amazingly speedy delivery!

Fits Triihouse's Lily very well, doesnt topple over.

Thanks to anyone who has ever posted about how great the d020 is. The consensus of opinion was very helpful indeed :)

Hmm... I ordered the same banger and had no issues with the hook or depth of the cup. In fact, that's my deepest banger. Certainly, QC is always an issue with China glass, but I'd contact HymanQuartz for a replacement - sounds more like you got a defective piece.

AFAIK, those carb caps don't work with enails at all. My preference is to get the flat top bangers, and use a normal carb cap.

Ya I ordered the same banger from Hyman and the hook placement was slightly off but still usable, however it was kind of hard to cap with just a flat glass surface so there is no way that cap would have worked with a coil on it.

Ended up buying their quartz nail designed specifically for an e-nail and christmas tree carb cap. Definitely what I would recommend over a banger for an e-nail. Ended up buying one of their 3mm bangers later and I would definitely recommend that to anyone without an e-nail.

I ordered one of the vertical Quartz nails with the smaller carb cap also. Haven't tried them yet, but they all fit perfectly. I don't mind the occasional bust on an order though. We're getting stuff at fair prices considering the cruft that's mixed in there. But really, the banger-enail-carb cap combo is a joke, stick with the this vertical setup for use with an enail:

I think it's just a big, chinese, hashtag assortment of "F*** You's" to all the people who see it.
They do stuff like that quite a bit, I think they have a great sense of humor atleast.

Like when hitmandougie got all grumpy about getting copied, it seems that's when china suddenly had a copy of every.single.piece. the company made. Then the day after champs the sundae cup was on CCG's shop. And then all the otherships and sov and mobius copies too, they picked the ones it seems would piss the most people off. I love it. It gives us awesome, cheap pieces, but it's giving china glass a worse and worse name. So i love and hate it i guess. They have the skill to design their own shapes and even percs now, but they still almost 100% copy actual artists.

I was just thinking the same thing, way to much rattle but it's coming along.

As for the hashtags I don't think it's done to piss people off but so more ppl view their piece that look at those hashtags.

The reason I like the China glass scene is cuz it makes the real artists have to keep stepping up their game.

Out of all my china pieces , FC-710 is the best IMO (I only own the Dabbbacino, FC186 and FC1000 from Steven , CCG fab , WOL Torus, Gordo clone and a quite few other china bubblers over the years) . It gives you a punchy hit with tons of flavor. It isn't punchy as in harsh on the lungs , punchy as in it hits your right in the face :ko:
